I just giggled out loud ? And then pictured 85% of the cake in its temporary home in the fridge! Tee hee. The cupcakes are a very nice way to conduct a tasting. I just thought it was kind of silly for a birthday cake, but mostly I thought it was a producer driven scene to show Whitney's lack of control. The part that stood out to me was when she dug into the key lime flavor because her mom loves key lime. Oh I have to have that! And then some more.

Oh, and I CAN'T STAND when women who have blemishes don't at least 'try' to cover them up. She could have applied some concealer and powder so the red spots weren't glaring at us through the television screen. I think that is just laziness.

It looked like she consumed the equivalent to 3, maybe 4 jumbo sized cupcakes at the "birthday cake tasting." Was that really necessary? A tasting? For a birthday cake.

Oooh, no but I definitely need to google that! The one I'm thinking of was the high school aged girls in competitive cheer. It was on after Making the Team for one season I think, maybe two. And then it went away. But the music didn't go anywhere. It is STUCK in my head.

I think Yuko is going to be a semi-melodramatic storyline (I don't mean it as snark) and I agree that they'll encourage her to get her clearances straightened out and come back next year. I also think the Anglo spellings are a smoke screen, jmho ☺️

Hinckley Yachts regrammed a photo Landon posted of herself Fauxming (see what I did there) on one of their boats on Nantucket. It has since been taken down from their Instagram, I am assuming due to the negative comments, which were many. Heck, I almost unfollowed them. If they were unaware of the kind of person she is, they aren't anymore!

Graves is autoimmune hyperthyroid and some patients do gain quite a bit of weight because it causes your appetite to go into overdrive and you overeat. If treatment with thyroid suppressing meds or radioactive iodine is not successful, the thyroid is surgically removed. Steroids can be used to treat graves opthalmopathy. I was only suggesting it as a possible reason for the physical changes we have seen in her over the years, since we don't really know what happened and a lot of us often wonder. ETA: I thought she had thyroid issues and her thyroid was surgically removed.

Re: The Boots. I am going to a western themed party later in the summer and I wanted to get real cowboy boots. I went to the boot shop in our town - they carry Lucchese (producer of the white/silver cheerleader boot). I was dying to get a pair of Lucchese, or at least try them on. The boot shop doesn't carry the white boots but they told me they could get them if I really wanted them (I don't, hehe). I tried on a very similar, almost identical pair in black. I will tell you they do run small and narrow in the shaft of the boot, but I was able to get them on and point my toes! Anyhow, even further to the point of how tiny the girls must be in real life, most of them have room around their leg in the shaft of the boot, and me with a regular leg could barely get the boot all the way up. I wound up going with another brand that was more comfortable, but it was SO fun to try them on ;)

The eye issue was very likely related to the thyroid issue, I'm guessing Graves' opthalmopathy (I was at risk for it too) and I think she eventually had her thyroid removed. She does look great and working around that stuff is no joke! She's probably so much smaller in person as well. I'll put a side note about the boots in the appropriate thread :)

Judy wouldn't look as good as she does without that hair. She's pretty wrinkled but doesn't seem to be to spotted, then again, she is perpetually tan and that hides a lot. I agree about Kelli and the casual suits in the early days of MTT. I think she had a thyroid problem too which wreaks havoc on your hair and your weight. I definitely think Kelli could rock the dances if she wanted to!

I agree that Kathryn's behavior on the reunion part 1 was very painful to watch. I know a lot of people think that Thomas and Kathryn "carry" the show, and if that is the case, I won't be tuning in any longer. I found myself recoiling into my couch as the outbursts went on. There's a difference between television drama that is a by-product of cattiness and cliques and drama caused by all out drug fueled, irrational and combative behavior / poor mental health. I would rather watch the former and so I will happily move on to other pseudo-reality shows. I think Andy Cohen should be ashamed of himself for forcing Kathryn to appear on the reunion show (there are reports that she was threatened with breach of contract if she refused to join the reunion). She is clearly unwell and needs help. I felt like I was watching a caged, abused circus animal. It doesn't matter if she brought it on herself. It doesn't matter whose opinion is what. She was out of control and her behavior will live on in perpetuity. I think they took advantage of her for ratings.

I think the Hermes box on the coffee table in the Craig and Naomie scene was supposed to be decor ? Tacky, but decor nonetheless. Maybe designer product boxes are the new coffee table book.

Agree. Craig is just flat out never going to become a successful lawyer. Dead horse, but he's just so whiny. Whining and entitled affectations do not win in the court of law or public opinion. Naomie needs to cut bait. Maybe she'll meet someone in graduate school, someone who is actually making something of his life. I hope so.

Sunni was shown on the DCC brides episode getting white boots and Kelli was with her when she put them on to try on dresses. I *think Cassie had a blue star garter. A couple of other girls have too.

I think Kelli looks fantastic too! Judy is wearing $1000+ Loubs. (Cassie looks like she wore a dress from Lennon's closet, but that's for another forum entirely.)

Who are the 5-years in TC besides Danielle? There seems to be less and less.
