I'm not a massive Kat fan but I feel SO bad for her after watching this episode. She was truly so proud of the organization and very grateful for her experience. I do think she is handling not making the team with a lot of grace and she is setting a good example. She'll be back. I just hope she spends the year with Kitty to beef up her performance technique.

When Jeremy walked up behind Jinger at the soda machine he was totally going to (GASP) rear hug her. It would have been a perfectly normal thing for any young couple without touch restrictions to do. He caught himself though. And she seemed visibly uncomfortable with his nearness, even though there was a little cha-per-OWN (like Bin says it) right there. Busted!!!

I'm going with mosquitoes. I think they are more likely to contract the Zika virus than they are to encounter any form of violent crime. I'm thinking that is what she is so afraid of, because it could adversely affect the health of herself, her headship i.e., holder of the quiver and their future arrows..

Jill's pupils appeared to be dilated and her eyes were glassy, like she'd been crying non-stop or on some form of medication (which for her sake, I hope she is). I actually felt bad for her for the first time. She seems absolutely miserable and at a total loss. I'm not saying it isn't her own darn fault and she needs to grow up, but she clearly needs mental help and A LOT of it.

Joy Anna looked like she was going to cry when Jinger came back into the house to announce the courtship. Like she was sad it wasn't her, or sad that there's only one stay at home daughter left (besides her) to shoulder the burden of caring for the rest of the family.

Whitney's lack of shoes and style of dress made her look very juvenile. The first thing I thought is she looked like an adult baby. I secretly loved when Yukon did the duck and weave to fend off her advance on the couch.

The host's crooked horse bit pin is driving me crazy. Straighten that nonsense!

Maybe she wore Lennie's flip flops out the door.

Maybe Kerryn will connect with Yukon, hop on the handlebars of his bike and they can ride off into the sunset together ?

There was also that super scary episode of Little House that dealt with sexual abuse. I remember seeing it and at the time being a little too young to understand what was happening. The ep was about a new girl named Sylvia. Def NOT Duggarpropriate.

I have an endocrinologist. She went to Tufts and Brown. She told me *some patients with Graves *can gain weight. It does happen to some patients with hypER. Your appetite is out of control and you are on thryoid suppressant therapy (typically tapazole). Likewise some patients with hyPO lose weight due to thyroid stimulation with synthetic thyroid hormone replacement (typically synthroid). I legitimately thought I remembered Kelli having a thyroid problem. Sorry.

Abe is SUCH a weenie! I can't help it, I think it's hilarious when he gets so pissed off. He looks like a 5-year old with his jeans tucked into his cowboy boots :) I kind of have a secret crush on Jeremiah for staying calm and also being supportive of Sabrina. I think he has a good heart. RE-becca is just flat out so jealous of everyone and everything. I guess I forget she's lost all of her teeth (which is terrible) and I think that is the primary driver of her insecurity, coupled with the hold overs from the Amish community i.e., her lack of education and Abe not wanting her to work and have an identity of her own. She isn't anything except Abe's wife and the mother to (what we assume are) his children. The other girls have their own lives.

Naturally it has always bemused me that practice is such a serious thing, but Cassie's kids can run around and its ok. The boy almost got taken out by show group last year. I would hate to be the girl who tripped over one of them.

I don't have anything against Amy or Vivian or Snoop, but I think that whole video is trashy and very unbecoming. If I were Kelli, I wouldn't want a girl who would participate in such a performance on my team. I think the different things that have transpired over the years were unbecoming too, like Whitney and the caution tape bodysuit. I just don't like behavior like that. It's gross.

The earlier cowboy boots (during the v-cut shorts era and early return of the belt era) didn't have the silver stars, if I remember correctly. I don't think they were Lucchese either.

I was trying to compare photos of the "old" boots with the "new" boots and it looks like the new sole is thinner. I like the slightly thicker sole on the old boots, and even though I understand the new ones are better for dancing, the thinner sole kind of makes them look, I don't know, cheap or something? We'll have to wait and see!

I can't believe it's boot night!! I tried on boots recently (Lucchese and and Ariat). They are tight in the instep, and the Luccheses are narrower all over. You need a boot jack to get them off, but I have never seen one in photos of the cheerleaders' locker room. I think they help each other yank them off.

I just realized the practice poms are the same poms used for the Santa suit halftime (captain obvi) ? I'm totally learning the dance from Michelle Keyes Insta clip ?
