I wouldn’t either. But that’s not how Kim ever rolled. She was never going to be that actor who left GH forever. Yes, I believe her last appearance was with the Peter story.
-
Well, yes, obviously they changed how Robin would “die” and that she wasn’t really dead. I was answering the portion of “Ron/Frank convinced KMc.” She didn’t need convincing; she never wanted the character to be killed off.
-
Never said hate; I said they don’t “care for” the character as played by Kimberly. And I totally believe Ron wanted to recast, as well, which is why TPTB had people believing that Kim couldn’t make time for the show. She was available- just not on a full-time, everyday basis. It doesn’t shock me that she has appeared MORE and her character mentioned MORE since JT’s exit. That’s not a coincidence to me. And, no, Kim never wanted Robin killed off. I don’t know if she had to say the company line initially when it happened, but there are interviews after that where she basically says that she was not satisfied, including this quote from a Fairman interview. ”SinceI left the show more than a year ago, I was not ever satisfied with the way it happened. Frank knew that I was always wanting, and willing, to come back and do something else that was more respectful of the character..”

They’re also just lazy af. And I also believe they never cared about Robin bc she doesn’t rate on their “attractive/hot” meter. They just use her bc of her history/fanbase they realized (too late) that they can’t ignore. I love how no one really noticed that she ALWAYS worked with them to make time for guest appearances and they had some of y’all believing she “couldn’t do it.” 🙃

Here’s the order of options they should have attempted: 1. Bye, Lulu! 2. Recast Dante 3. Divorced Lante bc shit happens like that in life, especially after cheating episodes Here’s what they shouldn’t have done: 1. LITERALLY REPEAT SCRUBS’ HORRIFIC STORY BY HAVING A CHARACTER SUFFER FROM PTSD & LEAVING SAID CHARACTER TO ROT WHILE ON-SCREEN CHARACTER ENTERS NEW CHEMISTRY-LESS PAIRING WITH TERRIBLE WRITING Sorry, that was loud.
-
Isn’t it the opposite of soapy to sign divorce papers and just move along to another pairing while pretending that her soon-to-be ex/father of her kids isn’t mentally disturbed in some way? If they want to do this, Dante should be recast.
-
Is it? Or is it what Frank always does because he doesn’t actually know how to end something? Because characters are still dangling in this story.
-
Drew will get his memory back when Billy Miller leaves and I’ma be like 🤬
-
Don’t worry, Lulu and the kids will forget about him in 2 months.
-
Hmm. Sounds familiar! @ulkis

No, I think FV just keeps around the actors that he likes and doesn’t mind keeping employed. He’s not thinking about story or character relevancy...ever.
-
You know, back in the day, you could always have hope that an actor would leave soaps for other opportunities, however insignificant, and now it’s 2019 and these people have to support their families with something and it’s a tough pill to swallow realizing they’re never leaving by choice. 😑

I can’t handle how awkward they are, especially in those matching outfits.

This Chase dude is gorgeous and deserves to be on a respectable TV program. Someone grab him, pls.
-
It was over a year later, I believe.
-
That reminds me of when they went to therapy on the show and Patrick cried. 🤣 So it’s not really fanwank.
-
“Oh, my baby died because Victor caused an accident to keep Robin in line!? Let me find Sam and apologize to her so we can date.” Some of Frank and Ron’s best work! 💩
-
Maxie is suffering from Patrick Drake Disease ™️. A rare syndrome in which past history is forgotten and character complexities disappear.
-
I don’t want to speak for the majority, but just because someone dislikes a character does not *always* mean they don’t like the actor. What a weird response from MCE. “If you hate me...” Huh!?

The Joss actress and that new kid in particular are horrific. -

All these teen actors are so hard to watch. They have no chemistry, it’s all awkward dialogue, and it bores me to tears frequently. Get them all off my screen and replace them with 20-somethings. -
It’s definitely valid, because obviously kids can’t really remember people they may have known at that young age, especially as they get older. But, like, is anyone concerned as to where Lucky is at and why he’s not having interaction with his children? Or will this be retconned later when they feel like it and pretend he’s been Skyping this whole time. Frank’s recipe.
