No part of this show is interesting, and all of those people are the worst. 🤭 On another note, I do think it’s fascinating, though, that a bunch of characters who are “bad” are popular on a lot of forums because the characters either don’t like Sonny or Jason, so that’s a positive, or Sonny/Jason “win” over them. I’ve noticed it with Shiloh, Dr. O, Franco, Julian, Ava, in particular.

Don’t worry, you’ll feel so much better when it’s revealed Lucky has been Skyping for years and none of this will ever be addressed. 🤭

I agree. I just think it’s obviously because SBu wants his character to look a certain way. At the end of the day, they’re human beings like the rest of us. Who wants to work with someone that has an issue with them? There is/was some incentive Steve gets from continuing in JaSam.

I think the idea that it’s easy is definitely valid. Then again, was it really easy this time around? With a clearly irked Kelly Monaco? That’s why I believe he cares more about his character “winning” and “looking like the man.” Something he probably learned from Mo.

Frankly, I’d say that’s a hard yes. For me, it’s not that it doesn’t make sense for the show to go that route. I’m more interested in analyzing why Steve Burton likes this pairing or wants to continue to be in it in the year 2019. It’s fascinating.

Obviously something was going on BTS for them to bury this storyline as fast as they could. And with that, they brought back the same formula. Is it what they felt the fans wanted or is it what Steve Burton wanted? 🤔 Which reminds me of an article I just read on how actors in the Fast & the Furious franchise have to look good in fights and basically win more than they lose. It seems to me that it’s more likely BM finally left because they stopped writing anything for himself and Kelly Monaco.

I feel like this isn’t just a JaSam thing. I see this with TV/entertainment in general these days. I don’t know if it’s social media and it’s ability to garner instant reaction, but there are no stakes anymore. It’s like once they find out X pairing is “popular,” they begin to cater to a particular group. There’s no drama or conflict. No other relationships become significant. And then Shonda Rhimes is the complete opposite of this; she’ll kill any pairing for “female empowerment.” There needs to be a balance.

Someone needs to get him into caring again, thnx. 😑

His character doesn’t have to be with Liz to get one, lol.

Is it just me or is it hard to believe that RoHo is attached to that pairing? Isn’t he tired of it by now? Family man Franco with Liz and the boys...this is what he wants!? 🧐

What’s also unfortunate is even after the Jason debacle, why couldn’t they just have given his OG memories back, erased Sam and Co. (bc she’s irrelevant as her own character outside of Jason apparently), and just started him fresh!? He also had great chemistry with Becky! Do that again, in the way it should have been done from the beginning. This wasn’t that hard, but I’m imagining he didn’t have a great relationship with Frank, and probably buried himself by only wanting to be paired with his Deuces partner.

Yep. Especially if they don’t recast. It’ll be killed off or Jason’s.

It’s always a good idea to re-do a formula with lesser writing and actors. A+ job, Frank.

This is why I like shows on Netflix, etc. I feel like bc they basically release them as complete each season, it’s less likely that fan BS/fan service will dictate story. And a lot of what’s happening, especially on soaps, is this fear to divert from a specific formula.

I don’t even necessarily think they’re trying to make Dante look good. The only male off-screen characters who got that treatment were weirdly Jax and Patrick.
