  1. Eh, it's not a big deal in Salt Lake, but it is a big deal if you are a member of the Church. BTW, someone can be excommunicated and still attend church. Although, they can't partake of the sacrament. I've known a few who did and eventually were rebaptized. I suspect that most never return. Salt Lake City has very beautiful women and I was expecting to see some real knockouts in the cast. Gah, the work the cast has had makes them look old and tired. Their makeup doesn't help either. It was fun to see them skiing/snowboarding at Snowbird, my favorite resort. Whitney's snowboarding was impressive.
  2. I used to follow the show's account on IG and was always shocked how much positive feedback it received. I started to wonder if I was missing something, then I come here and feel validated. This show is awful. It's so bad that I like most of the side characters more and more while hating the main characters more with each new episode. I concur with the previous poster, the sex scenes are down right boring and awkward. Come to think of it, I'm not sure they've had one all season that wasn't just finagling each other for a kiss.
  3. I must be the only one that likes Octavia. I imagine that 6 years in the bunker could devolve into a gladiator form of justice, she just happened to be the leader. I couldn't help but see the parallel to her living under the floor on the Arc and in the bunker now. Also, Kane did float her mother and I'm pretty sure he would hand out justice similar to Octavia if he was in charge. He has no leg to stand on here. Overall, I really liked this episode. The gang is back together, well kinda, sans Murphy and Raven (love those two). Who's ready to see Wanheda and Indra kick some arse?
  4. This gave me a right giggle. I thought throughout the episode that they don't know who they are dealing with and she'll be killing more of them soon. I also noticed that Murphy mentioned Clarke would have killed the Cryo's. Frankly, I think it will come back to bite them that they didn't, and the Cryo's will wake and start killing in space or on the ground. The Scooby gang will have to eliminate them anyway. I suppose they need a new nemesis as the grounders and Skykru are one now.
  5. Well, Clarke wouldn't be Wanhedda if she hadn't saved Madi by killing the dude. I'm down for the Octavia Thunderdome but I wonder when she became such a great warrior that everyone seems to fear her. I mean, she'd only learned to use weapons for a short time before they went in the bunker. I question why others (better fighters) didn't overthrow her while in the bunker. Raven and Murphy are my favorites I didn't see any limping from Raven. Did her leg magically heal? Yep! I was really close to turning this shit show off but it pulled me back when Murphy was still Murphying and Clarke Wanheda'd that dude. I also don't get the Bellarke ship. Never was a fan and saw them as friends, at times. I wonder why people don't remember Bellamy tried to turn Clarke into that dude back on the Arc? He handcuffed her even. I was a Clexa fan and thought this show went downhill when she was killed off but I continue to watch, mostly because I've invested so much time. Maybe this new crop of sky people will add a little life to this show.
  6. I had a genuine belly laugh at how, in detail, she described how she would kill him and dispose of his "smoothie" dead body in another location (so it couldn't be traced back to her, my guess). What a great new show and it's on the top of my DVR list.
  7. I can't stand this show, but I still watch. WTH? Of course Emma is preggo ,ugh. Has this show already jumped the shark? As as others have mentioned, Jack is as exciting as a beige wall. What does Izzy see in him, or for that matter, Emma? I'd be fine if he wasn't in any scene again. The bar tender has more personality than Jack. Please, why does Izzy want a baby with a 40 year old? She's getting her PhD, I can't see a baby fitting into that life for a good while. Interesting relationships for me: Izzy and her friend, they play off one another really well. Emma and Izzy, although Emma seems pretty vanilla too. The first season they had great chemistry. I found myself wishing Jack would disappear in the third episode so these two could interact without his drama. Emma's friend and her boss. Those two can be a hoot if written correctly I like Emma's friend's husband too. He has good comedic timing. I miss the the salty neighbor and her snarky teenage daughter from previous seasons.
  8. It seems Anna treats Erica like a client by mimicking the phrases she uses with her clients. Other times, Anna is honest with her, like when she told her real name and why she is an escort. It's little dance they play. Erica has to know Anna is not completely real because Anna said almost the exact same thing to Erica as she did to the guy in the video she showed Erica. Also, I'm not sure how much info the other guy plans to get out of Erica's secretary. The secretary didn't know who Dariya was when she introduced her at the office. If she doesn't know something as simple as that, I wonder what she can provide. Maybe the name of the finance guy she met with. He said he plans to introduce Erica her to others.
  9. Oh, it's coming. Bria is an idiot. She signed up to be in the witness protection program yet is doing everything she can to help her husband find her, aside from personally calling him to tell her where she is. I mean, giving the kid a computer? Haha.
  10. The Bria story is boring and I'm not sure I'll continue with it. However, I really like Erica and Anna. Season 1 was the same tone, well at least the Erica and Anna story. There is always white nose, like the air conditioner is running in the background. It's mesmerizing. Second episode: I thought it odd too that at the private get-together with the financial people, they didn't bat an eye with the lesbian thing. I don't think it's strictly a Republican thing. If Erica worked for the Dems, she would be courting the finance guys too. So it is the GFE about escorts and not GFs. I think where they are going, is that Anna may be falling for Erica. Why? I have no idea. Maybe she likes the power. Erica is so guarded and doesn't have much of a personality. The meeting Anna had with her friend looked out of place until I thought, it's a way of showing that Erica was beginning to have an effect on Anna. We are to infer that Anna was thinking of Erica with that guy who "made her orgasm three times." I don't think this will end well for these two. Who is going to get hurt by that dude who hired the investigators is the assistant.
  11. Bummed it is canceled. I hope Netflix will rethink canceling so many new shows. I'm sure glad NBC didn't cancel Seinfeld after it's first dismal season and let them improve the show.
  12. Welp, I guess I can go back to not watching this show again. I was hoping to watch some good dancing but it's obvious this show wants to keep poor dancers on the show. I may pop in occasionally to see who make it to the finals. Enjoy everyone!
  13. Wow, not many comments on this show anymore. I guess I'm not surprised. I used to watch it live and now I'm lucky if I remember it is on my DVR. I really liked the Murphy character, but he's even becoming boring to me. I miss his snark and edginess. His being in love isn't working for me. Huh, Jasper risked Bellamy's life to get high? I was hoping it would rain on Jasper so I didn't have to listen to him anymore. Now that Clarke is a nightblood, can she insert the flame in her neck? Good luck getting ABD back to film any scenes. Of course, she doesn't have to worry about Luna putting up a stink about the flame.
  14. I loved this snark! Go Nancy. Plus, she had a point....
  15. I don't know why but this made me laugh so much. Len deserved the hand wave as Heather didn't do the choreography.... I've seen some pretty big liberties taken with choreography over the years. If Maks is going to throw in a little hip hop (which was quite good and pretty short) during a jive, then so be it. I'm still a fan of HM and will continue to watch until she is gone. I've watched so many poor dancers stick around because they have a huge fan base that it's nice to have someone who I enjoy watching dance. I missed Nancy but wished I hadn't after reading the posts here. Forth Harmony did pretty well, at least what I could see of it through the audiences arms that were blocking her. I like David and predict he'll be around for a long time due to his fan base and not his dancing prowess. Simon's flip was pretty great....
  16. I'm very much in favor of better dancers. I'm so over watching old people try to dance or people with no rhythm "dance." I don't care if there are ringers because it's better T.V. My money is on Heather Morris. She could be one of the professionals. I haven't watched this show in many many seasons but after seeing this lineup, I am putting it on the DVR recording list. It should be very entertaining. It's interesting that Nancy Kerrigan seems to have the most chatter on this board. I would have thought the singer from "work, work, work" would get the most buzz. To the poster above: Chris Kattan dancing to What is Love? Good catch. I hope he incorporates the side head bop.
  17. The debate skit was fantastic. Homerun for Baldwin and McKinnon. Kate's Emmy was so deserved and this episode proves it. She was great throughout. Haha "Can America vote right now?" Leslie Jones and her twitter hacking was on point.
  18. Huh, I'm surprised this is receiving such good reviews. I found this episode and episode two very slow and boring. There's so much talking and too little action. Plus, why is there so much use of the n-word? It's overused in my opinion. I'm not sure I'll continue watching as there are other shows I find better. There's only so much time in the day to watch for tv viewing and this isn't making the cut.
  19. This episode felt like two entirely different shows. One was about Alie building her army and the other....well, I can't figure out why they stuck this Emerson thing in this episode. Having the first half of season 3 in Polis at least had some kind of link to the Ark scenes. This show is killing off their most educated people...down goes chief engineer Sinclair. Let's hope Raven learned lots from him before he died...they'll need it. I like having the original characters together as well. They all play very well off of each other. Speaking of the chip rejecting. Why can everyone swallow 1.0 chip like M&Ms but only Nightbloods can be implanted with the 2.0 chip? I agree that Clarke and Lexa (as the chip) are still the only intelligent people on this show. I'll maybe entertain Raven, but Kane is stupid for going to Polis after knowing there was a new commander. Does he have a deathwish? Impressive kill indeed. Of course, it was a team effort with Clarke. Those two love birds are so good together, still. Didn't buy Ontari taking that chip, and the Ontari I know would have cut off Jaha's head on the spot for trying to out her. I was hoping for so much more out of this character. What happened to her backbone from episode 3.8? As soon as the red gas appeared, I shouted "Emerson!" Closing thought, Eliza and Lindsey did another great job in this episode. I look forward to their collaboration to take down Alie 1.0.
  20. Note to self: Don't watch The 100 immediately after the fantastic Orphan Black season premiere. It highlights how much better Orphan Black's writing is compared to The 100. I feel sorry for these actors who have to tell this Swiss cheese story. How they don't laugh while delivering most of these lines is beyond me. Highlights of the episode: 1. Lindsey did a great job as usual. Her ALIE was spot on. It's a good thing Lindsey works out because that episode must have been very physically demanding. 2. ALIE calling out everyone on their shit. Almost everything she said to each character is what I was thinking for a long time. *cough* why does Jasper give Bellamy a pass at Mr. Weather? 3. I enjoyed seeing Nylah again. I did find it odd that she didn't ask Clarke why she took off in the middle of the night and neither mentioned anything about their tryst. I agree that Pike, as the leader, is who the Grounders think is responsible. They do not kill everyone for the bad deeds of one e.g., Finn and Raven (carrying the poison that Gustus drank). You know, I didn't think about this. Wow, how dangerous would that be if Ontari swallowed the ALIE 1.0 chip? Come to think of it, who is holding that chip? Blood must not have blood didn't work for me either. It's like Lexa allowed her people (including the Arkers) to break the law with no repercussions. No society can last when there are no consequences when the laws are broken. Lexa was too savvy of a leader to not see that. Plus, shouldn't the Grounders have written laws that all need to abide by? Afterall, this is set in the U.S. and the Grounders should know about The Constitution, Amendments and the laws written. I'm certain the remaining people from the nuclear disaster would follow some type of similar laws. Eh, I also think they wouldn't believe that the Commander is chosen by an AI chip rather through an election. Plus, I can't stand Jasper and his whining!
  21. Is it wrong that I would love Ontari to fulfill her promise to kill all of Skaikru? Well, everyone but a select few; Raven, Clarke, Sinclair and maybe Monty. I’m bored with Kane and Abby, and Bellamy is a terrible character. I may not mind seeing Abby live so there’s a real doctor left on earth. I think I may be the only one who likes Ontari. When did Lexa become Clarke’s girlfriend and how many others besides Murphy knew? Neither said she loved the other and I'm not sure anyone knows they had sex. Quite honestly, none of those other Nightbloods looked like they could win against Ontari so I was ok not seeing them fight it out. Clarke asked Titus what I have been thinking for a few episodes. If the Nightbloods are so rare, why are you choosing a commander by a fight-it-out-to-the-death with the only one remaining? No matter, the writers can always write more in the story if needed.... I think the whole Luna thing has been in many’s head canon. Not surprised. I am curious to see this woman to know why Lexa spared her. Why would Murphy know about the purification process? Plus, he didn’t seem to do much but stand in the room while Ontari took a bath. I wonder if Ontari knows Murphy is with Imori. If I was Imori, I’d stay far away from Polis because Ontari probably doesn't share. Where did Titus get those nice boots? They look brand new. Lincoln!!!! We all knew it was coming but I’m going to miss his abs. Did Raven, Jasper and Jaha sleep through everything that happened on the Ark? Odd. Roan seems like a dick now. Guess he isn’t a fan of the coalition afterall. Clark and the white horse, I hope they don't get lost or killed. I still miss Lexa and her strong leadership. This was such a great show before the shit that happened in episode 3.07. Maybe it will get better.
  22. Why isn't a nutritionist involved in the weight gain for the trainers and weight loss for the contestants? What's that saying, you can't out train a bad diet? Anyway, I'm of the belief that exercise is important in losing weight, but a calorie deficit is more important factor to losing weight. Plus, the calorie deficit should be gradual and the calorie increase once your goal weight is reached should be gradual. Reverse dieting. Of course, this is JMO, YMMV.
  23. It's been quite a while since I have tuned into the Real World, but this was the first thing that I thought. Well, that and all the excited yelling over every little thing. I can't believe I'm in a car in the desert! Let's go to the pool! I tune into these types of shows for the crazy Jennas and great looking people. I hope the revolving door brings in better looking people. Um, is it just me or were there hardly any people other than the cast members at the Gold Spike club? You know, the spot to be at in Vegas? My guess is the other people were the crew.
  24. I started watching The 100 after it trended on Twitter after the first episode of season three. I tuned into episode two of season 3 and was instantly intrigued by Clarke going crazy and spitting on this woman (Lexa). I then watched the first episode of season 3 online and liked it so much I binge watched season one and two on Netflix. I was so impressed that this show presented two women leaders who worked together and learned from one another. I can't remember seeing anything like it on TV. It's rare that I count down the days until the next episode of a show is shown. However, I just loved the relationship between Clarke and Lexa and couldn't wait to see them in action the next week. The fact that Lexa was gay and Clarke is bi-sexual didn't really mean too much to me because you love who you love regardless of gender. I prefer shows that don't label the romances but let them happen organically. However, I certainly understand where it would be very important to others. I watched the show for the Lexa and Clarke relationship. I found most of the other story arcs fairly boring as I've seen those hundreds of times on other shows and I'm not sure they will be compelling enough to watch going forward. I mean, it's hard to watch Pike and the others make such stupid decisions (kill 300 people who weren't attacking) and the rest of Skaikru just accepts it. Plus, Skaikru will starve long before they will ever be able to win a war against the grounders. They are vastly outnumbered and they don't know the land. I feel cheated that my favorite character has been killed and I just started watching. I'm not sure if I believe JRoth and the scheduling conflict for ADC. He has said it was and issue and also said it wasn't an issue. I tend to believe the second because I don't trust him after he baited the LGBT community.
