  1. I'm pretty bored of the Rose storylines, but that would make it all worthwhile.
  2. The title of this story (Why Doesn't Anyone On Iron Fist Talk To The Hand?) has been cracking me up all day, well done.
  3. Presumably David has been watching this too much: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vEg4SEch27w
  4. Thanks! That actually makes even less sense since, as others have commented, what does Val gain from this?
  5. I don't understand Val and Ginger's plan here - Ginger stole a bunch of stuff, but then Val returned it all, so where did the money they split come from?
  6. I feel the need to defend the musical taste of Australia by explaining that Unearthed (the website where David found the bio for the real-life Bloody Roo) is a competition for unsigned bands - anyone can upload to it, and the bio was probably written by the band. Maybe in the 90s there weren't as many Australian actors trying to make it in LA, but I'm always surprised when US shows can't find someone with a real Aussie accent. I honestly can't think of any actor who can do it convincingly. Lastly, was re-watching some B99 the other day, and Peralta says that he still has the Jason Priestley cologne he wore in middle school. “It’s just called Brandon, and it’s overpowering.”
  7. Aw, this made me sad... If forced, I would house my shithead cat Theo with Sherlock on Elementary. Theo's mostly lovely but he woke me up several times last night, and Sherlock seems to barely sleep, so they seem like a good fit.
  8. Tara made the right choice about The OA - I kept going because I was caught up in wanting plot-answers, but the ending was absolutely infuriating. See Alan Sepinwall's spoilery review for some cringe-making gifs: http://uproxx.com/sepinwall/the-oa-netflix-spoiler-recap-review/ For a time-travel-done-right show, check out Continuum - it's all about working out the rules, and the writers have clearly planned and thought about it intensely. And you guys clearly don't live in areas with lots of Greek people, or you would know plenty of Effies.
  9. Peeing STUFF picture: And thanks for that nighmare-fuel header image.
  10. I'm with David. I think the helicopter dropping on Romano is pretty much the best thing ER ever did. It's just such a wonderful level of WTF stupidity.
  11. She said something to Asa about having history with that werewolf - I think this was a "one time only, unfinished business" hunt, not a regular thing for her.
  12. The show may be terrible but this write-up is fantastic.
  13. Curtis' mask is terrifying. So creepy.
  14. Seconding the recommendation for The Katering Show, it is so funny, and full of little details to spot on re-watches (like that the little animation under the title is a colon pooping out different foods).
  15. My dad shared Sarah's aversion to milk, and used to eat his muesli with orange juice. As a kid, I didn't realise that was not common, but still wasn't ever tempted to try it.
  16. Friday is a public holiday for me in Australia, but damn time differences mean that this only becomes available for us about 6pm. Weather forecast is terrible, so would have been great to stay in and binge-watch.
  17. That was my experience in Melbourne too - during elections the Union became un-navigable due to all the campaigning, and if you hung out in the Union it seemed like the be-all and end-all, but then there was a bunch of students who never went near the Union. This seems likely. The Union at my uni provided a lot of services - they ran the foodhall, computer centre, amenities like showers and lockers, newspaper, union theatre and cinema, a recreational library (with a listening room for LPs!). They were basically involved in anything on campus that wasn't academic.
  18. I think this was probably pretty close to my school formal hair...
  19. By coincidence, the other day I watched the episode of 'Don't Trust the B in Apartment 23' where Chloe meets up with her friend from the 'psychopath camp' she was sent to as a kid, so I could only think of that. Their camp song: "We are normal children/ We don’t torture animals/ Respect your therapist/ Take your meds/ Our pain is hopefully finite.”
  20. Holy hell, those title card gifs are amazing. Can you imagine the hellish sit-com staring these buffoons?
  21. Shouldn't the lost dog poster say 'Dog found'?!
  22. I spent a while trying to work out how a reference here to Travis McGee made sense before realising it was a reference to the sandals.
