Maybe the castle just subs out the food when they have someone staying there instead of keeping people on staff and Caroline had nothing to do with it.

I went back and listened carefully to the conversation regarding the kitchen situation. There was a kitchen. The staff and the food were from offsite and they cooked the food in the kitchen at the castle. Basically, a catering company was hired to do the meals and the caterers only brought the food that they needed, they did not fully stock the kitchen.

I laughed so hard when Lizzie said the diorama builder wanted to challenge her to a battle of wits. I laughed even harder when it turned out to be a 1st grader.

For me the biggest issue was stupid Jenna taking the leap from Mark was sexually assaulted by a man to Mark is bi or gay. How fucking offensive. She's an annoying idiot. He may very well be bi or gay, but being sexually assaulted doesn't prove that. There's that whole it being against your will thing. Her face while he was telling about his experience told it all. She wasn't concerned about him or feeling empathy. She was worried about how it impacted her.

I spent the entire episode rolling my eyes and wishing for all of them to shut up. This show might be dead to me, which is a bummer because I used to love it. I especially don't have time for Marissa whining about how it feels weird to be without her husband when she's blithely ditching her new born to jet off the the Hamptons.

SUR is upscale compared to Taco Bell, but it isn't earning any Michelin stars any time soon. Why was the RV such a disaster after only a day? Yuck. Jax has always been the worst so it's no surprise, but he sucks. Like he isn't annoying enough with his make me a turkey sandwich shit, he always has to proclaim that if the positions were reversed he'd be bowing down etc. According to Stassi the positions were reversed and she (or her dad) paid for everything when they lived together and half the time he didn't even bother to come home because he was out partying. I remember back in season 1 or 2 it was a big deal that he hung a picture. Maybe Brittany is just too dumb to realize how shitty he is? Also The Winklevoss Twins or whatever their dumb names are (it starts with a W and I don't care enough to learn it because I'm not watching their stupid show) have a lot of teeth and are not nearly as hot as they think they are.

Sure it's realistic, but I can't handle Quinn being such a mess. It hurts my heart.

Commercials That Annoy, Irritate or Outright Enrage
yourmomiseasy replied to Maverick's topic in Commercials
In most computing contexts whitelisting does inherently imply block everything and only allow what is on the whitelist and blacklisting inherently implies allow everything and only block what is on the blacklist. Whitelisting is more restrictive, but far more secure. For instance whitelisting is often what is used on the outbound rule set on a firewall for a commercial website, whereas you'd blacklist the inbound (both for http ports, you'd whitelist inbound for other ports)). For an office network you'd do the opposite and whitelist the inbound and blacklist the outbound. The only computer context I can think of where the terms are approached differently is email spam filters. In the instnace of what PC Matic is offering, the term is being used correctly (only allowing certain programs and apps to run on your computer)-- I think the problem is they are marketing to a base that is more familiar with email than firewalls. -
S07.E05: Amnesia Appetizers

I've heard they'll try to collect next time you try to enter the country (or for some countries the EU). I don't know if it is true or not, but I'm always afraid to get stuck and not allowed in because I don't have the cash on me, so I pay. And I'm afraid about it having to be cash because I got pulled off the road by the Gendarmerie in France once and they made me give them a bunch of cash to leave the building and insisted it be cash. The cash was shoved into a dirty greeting card envelope, so I'm still not sure it was on the up and up, but what are you going to do. So I try not to speed, and if I get any tickets in the mail from foreign countries I want to go back to, I pay. -
That wasn't an issue for her last season when she wanted him to be able to just drink a little because him being completely sober would be boring for her.

If you keep having to tell everyone how awesome your RV birthday is, it probably isn't. It looked to me like some of the Sonoma crew spent a whole lot of time worrying about if they were having a better time than the Montauk crew rather than just having a good time. Maybe I'm just not seeing the inherent charm and fun an RV automatically adds since we had one when I was a kid. I hate James, but I found sober DJ James Kennedy not only tolerable, but slightly enjoyable.

I'm not sure how or why the flip flop happened so quickly, but I'm kind of enjoying sweaty failing Jamie and bitch face Nikita as mismatched BFFs. -
Casey was right though, Amanda was a shit show in the kitchen. It looked like Amanda's manic flailing around might have had a negative impact on Casey's dish as it was hard to work with all the mayhem going on.

Having had either sushi or poke every day this week, I spend a lot of money being served raw fish :)

S07.E03: Going Commando

I agree that they shouldn't be left alone in NYC, but I disagree that they live in the suburbs of LA. Their house is in Beverly Hills, which is smack dab in the middle of the city (they are near Franklin Park, which is literally the geographic center of the city). It isn't like they are out in West Covina or even just up in the valley. They don't live downtown, but most people in LA don't. I'm of the opinion that it was probably a bad idea for Rinna to leave her kids alone in NYC for 2 days just because I'm the type to freak out about that type of thing. I used to worry when my 16 year old brother was left home alone for a couple of days. But I'm a hypocrite because I haven't lived with my parents since I was 16 and nothing bad happened -- at least that I can remember :) -

Exactly, thank you for articulating for me. Erika thinks her shit must not stink because it's a designer turd in a gold bowl. She's always using the labels to justify and prop herself up. It must be awesome and good because it's Balmain or Moschino or whatever and costs a fortune and everyone else just isn't fabulous enough to understand. -

To me there's a difference in mentioning that you used to have 15 horses during a talking head about getting a new horse and saying your stupid t-shirt dress must be fabulous because there's a designer label in it. -

Sounds like a real great time </sarcasm>. No wonder they didn't show it. -
I don't buy the shit Jub Balls McMapperton is selling about Caroline being jealous or intimidated by her. Maybe I'm blind, but I just don't see it.

S07.E03: Going Commando
yourmomiseasy replied to Tara Ariano's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
Why the fuck do Rinna's kids have talking heads? Are the Hamlins angling for their own show? I'm not into it at all. I cracked up at it taking 3 people to get Dorit packed up for the park and then the trip being called off because Jagger was being a pill. Erika is trash wrapped up in a designer gown (that she'll definitely name drop the label of), but what else is new? My grandma died in January after a long drawn out struggle with Alzheimer's. It'd been a decade since she'd forgotten everyone, years since she'd been able to walk or talk, etc. It still hit harder than I'd thought it would given I'd already thought I'd grieved over a very long drawn out time. Feeling guilty over the relief is definitely a big factor. My mom was a mess and I think this weekend with Christmas is going to be really hard for her and then next month will be the 1st anniversary of the death and that will be hard too (she died on my birthday, so there's always going to be a reminder too). So I get where Eileen is coming from and I totally identify with what she's saying, but I'm still totally bored by her. -
Stassi's Cabo birthday was just on. I think that those 2 episodes might be the best of VPR. You've got Stassi being birthday Stassi, Tequila Katie and Schwartz having their same fight but amped up by him pouring beer on her head, the girls ostracizing Scheena for "being a skank", detective Stassi getting to the bottom of Tom and Arianna, Arianna back at SUR being smug, Jax picking up a bunch of randos and trying to bring them on Stassi's birthday boat, Kristin's "Arianna or me" ultimatum to Lisa, tons of drunk antics, tons of shit talking, tons of shit stirring. Katie's drunk fights with Schwartz and then Stassi are 2 of my favorite VPR fights.

S07.E02: The Buddha Bentley Birthday

Rose Gold is a color in the Bentley palette, so it isn't custom custom, but was probably a special request that cost extra. It could still be a lease. -
S07.E02: The Buddha Bentley Birthday
yourmomiseasy replied to Tara Ariano's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
Dorit can't find Jewish/Kosher food in LA? Okay. Her new Bentley is sick. I want a rose gold car now. Her party was way better than Erika's, just for the food alone, but it also just looked like everyone was having more fun. The speech from her husband was really good. I think I like him, but she bugs me. When Rinna & kids plated the zucchini pasta it didn't look like enough for one person and then it turned out it was the serving platter and was supposed to be enough for three. I guess that (and the fact that I won't accept half an almond as a birthday cake substitute) is why I'll never be a model. Why was Eileen expecting apology eleventy-million-and-one? Even if LVP had said it, she wouldn't have accepted it. I did laugh at LVP then pulling an Eileen and demanding Rinna apologize to her. F Erika and her label obsession. Just because something is designer doesn't make it appropriate. Kyle's face watching LVP and Eileen go back and forth was the best part of the episode for me. LVP's party hair reminded me of a Shih Tzu. Her necklace and gloves were not good either. -

I don't disagree re the punch bowl. I'm just bored by it. I'm double bored by Eileen and her need for elevenity million apologies. Vicki is such a deplorable person that I can at least muster the effort to hate her and want her off my TV. I'm just super bored by the soap actresses and their tired bullshit.
