  1. Vanessa and her twin (Adrienne?) are biracial, and the older and younger sisters look like they're white, so I'm thinking there may be three fathers at play here? Of course, Vanessa and Adrienne's father could still be deceased. 1. I kind of like Dimitri's sister. I felt bad for her that she didn't get to spend time with Dimitri, I can't imagine not seeing my brother for so long and then not being able to spend any quality time with him. 2. Ashley's dress looked like a really nice bathing suit with a fancy cover. 3. It pains me to admit it, but I felt bad for Ashley when they kept showing her reaction to Dimitri taking vows with Vanessa. It was clearly difficult for her. Even if this is what she wants, some jealousy must be expected, I think. 4. What is up with Dimitri's mom only meeting Ashley and the kids once? Has he not been in contact with his family? I wonder if they got back in contact because of the show. 5. I have a low-key crush on Dimitri's best friend. He was handsome.
  2. I'm in SW Ohio, on Spectrum, and they showed the correct show here.
  3. I'm very sad about Kelly. 😭 I thought she was going to turn it around.
  4. I agree. Even if they don't go forward, she'll always have in the back of her mind that she wasn't enough for him.
  5. That and a bulldozer would knock me over. I've always suspected it was intended to be a three-way kind of thing.
  6. I don't know. She's so funny looking. She and the husband look like they could be related. The first wife is so cute, she could do much better.
  7. I refuse to accept that Vaginal Steam Facilitator is a job. I think it's another way to dissuade Vanessa from having sex with Dimitri; the steam is "accidentally" too hot and burns Vanessa's hooha, putting her out of commission for a couple of weeks. 😂
  8. So, the chances that the text message was actually from her brother, and that she actually had an appendix issue are about 0.0%, right? I think she's just changed her mind about joining the family.
  9. Tami needs to run far away from Colton and Sophie. She could do a lot better.
  10. I had pulled pork and broccoli for dinner. That coney and 5-way Brandon had looked good. 😮 That's an Ohio delicacy right there.
  11. Agreed. He is smarmy and gross, and I think she is just humoring him. I think Meri, on Sister Wives, agreed to polygamy to keep Kody because she really loved him and didn't think such a "hot guy" would be interested in her otherwise. I think that's why she didn't play nices with Janelle and Christine from the beginning. I don't get that from Ashley Snowden, but I do think that she doesn't really want this. I think he just wants to create his own little harem of women worshipping him and bearing his loinfruit.
  12. I wondered about something like that too. The way her parents talked about her when she was a toddler eating constantly. Usually they tell you not to worry about overfeeding babies/toddlers, because they self-regulate, and only eat when they're hungry. There are other neurological issues that can cause a lack of satiety, though.
  13. Are the new family (living in the motorhome) Jewish? The mom mentioned that it was their Sabbath, and asked if the kids wondered why they weren't at Synagogue.
  14. Oh my goodness am I sick of the catfish storyline. Look, Meri, you got catfished because you were looking to cheat on your husband. No matter how bleh Kody is, you're not a victim. The best course of action is to let this go. What's going on with Meri and this new "friend?" She's really shoving her down everyone's throats.
  15. I love Vanessa. She's bubbly and nice and she has amazing hair. :) I don't think Ashley really wants this to work. I think something will always come up that will be a dealbreaker.
  16. I think cashmere is a super weird choice for a chicken costume. I'm excited to see Dimitry again, I love him.
  17. Yeah that was pretty rude. On the episode with Fran Weston's funeral - At the end of the service, Rev Skinner says it's now noon, the time Fran would be opening the bakery after church. He asked the attendants to walk around the town square with Fran one last time. Cut to them all walking around and Sookie complaining about how long it's taking. She says it's almost 4. Did they seriously walk around the town square for 4 hours?
  18. Eh, I suppose, but I tend to think that's not the case, it was just sloppy writing. If her family had their own bakery in Star's Hollow, where it's established that they lived, why would she start her own bakery?
  19. I don't know if these have been "picked," but I have two I haven't noticed before: 1. When Rory and Dean breakup (after he tells her he loves her), Rory keeps a little list of days when Dean isn't in Doose's. Lane goes in, and comes out and reports that Dean isn't in there. Rory notes that he doesn't work on Wednesday. Rory later discovers that Lorelai and Max are back together, and she and Lorelai fight. Lorelai starts to go to Doose's, and she says, "I assume you're not coming in," to which Rory says, "is it Wednesday?" and Lorelai responds "no." Rory runs away to the Gilmore's home after the fight, then went to school, and Lorelai came and got her at the Gilmore's after school. As they leave, Emily says, "we'll see you tomorrow at 7 for dinner." Which means "tomorrow" was Friday, that day was Thursday, and the day Rory ran away after refusing to go into Doose's because it was not Wednesday, it was indeed Wednesday. 2. Fran and Westin's Bakery. In season 2, when Lorelai was tasting wedding cakes Fran says they've been doing this for 112 years. Lorelai makes a joke about her only looking 106, and she clarifies that her family has been doing it for 112 years. When Fran passes away, her friend says in her eulogy that Fran opened the bakery during one of the world wars. World War I began in 1914, so it's not even 112 years from today, and the eulogy implies that Fran started the bakery herself, whereas Fran implied that her family opened the bakery and she was just continuing the tradition.
  20. I assumed because they paid the tuition they received some sort of information on the important dates. Plus, Richard is an alumnus, so he may get a newsletter. I get an alumni newsletter from my college. After Rory starts Yale (I don't remember the specific episode) Dean calls her and ask her if it's ok for him to work at the Dragon Fly. He mentions that he "finally broke down" and got a cell phone. Except in Season 1, in That Damn Donna Reed, he calls Rory from outside Babette's house. Unless Babette had a pay phone in her front yard, he had a cell phone then.
  21. True. She said a couple times in the series she wanted another kid, so that isn't an issue, and even if she and Luke didn't work out, the chances that she would be left raising the baby alone are roughly 0.0%.
  22. Two new ones (for me): When Rory first discovers Paris is her roommate at Yale, Paris says she "lost" her nanny. Nanny had moved out west somewhere to start a restaurant. Yet, when Paris returns to her dorm room and finds Doyle sick in her bed, Nanny comes to the rescue. Did she fly back to CT, leaving her family and business, solely to care for Paris's undefined male sexual partner? Seems unlikely. In the episode where Sookie gives birth to Martha, Lorelai thinks she's pregnant because she and Luke had unprotected sex - 2 days before. I know it's been a while since she's had a child, but anyone with a basic grasp of biology ought to know that you can't know if you're pregnant after two days; the fertilized egg isn't likely to even be implanted in the uterus at that time. And then she used her craving of orange soda and a moon pie as evidence she isn't pregnant. Just silly for a woman in her mid to late 30s.
