  1. Mike Farrell acting circles around everyone, as per usual. No, I'm not saying Jensen, Jared and Misha are BAD actors. I'm saying Mike Farrell is fantastic. I wished we could have gotten more of him.
  2. I thought Benny and his lady had zero chemistry. Same with Sam and Amelia. But Benny's blue, blue eyes. I do like those.
  3. Me either. Or Texas. However there seems to be a disproportionate number of episodes featuring Florida and Texas house hunters. Zero interest.
  4. To me, that other actress appears to be about 20 years old, while Emma Roberts is in her early 30s (I believe). And that age is the KISS OF DEATH in the film industry. Look at their habit of casting actresses in their 20s to play opposite actors in their 40s as their love interest. Happens all the time. Coupled with her infertility and I can see why she'd feel threatened and insecure. And this gaslighting BS plays right into all of that. Psychologically it's kind of genius. But I still don't think this is original or even that interesting. I hope I don't spend the entire season hoping it gets better.
  5. Jace has run away again. How many times does he need to do this before someone figures out he doesn't want to live there?
  6. Apparently she not only had a fifth baby but is allegedly pregnant with number six and seven (twins). Has she had a girl yet?
  7. I wonder which of the weirdo stalkers is trying to help her. Probably the "preacher" lady? There is always someone in these stories trying to "warn" the main character but instead of actually warning them they follow them around dressing strangely and acting creepy. How about just saying "you're in danger"?
  8. I loved NYC because not only had I lived through that era but I found for the most part the acting was superior to other seasons. I just see Kim K. and not her alleged character. It's distracting.
  9. They do! My hometown has peacocks because some numbskull brought them from HIS hometown. One night I was driving home with my car windows open and one of them was on the sidewalk and screamed at me. I damn near crashed my car. Another time I encountered one standing in the middle of the street with feathers all splayed out. I had to wait for him to decide to move out of the way.
  10. I found Kim K. to be almost unbearable. I don't believe her as the main character's "best friend" and her forced use of the "f" word just made her seem more lackluster. Her acting makes wood seem lively and brought Emma Roberts' acting down (although I don't think she's a terrific actress either). Again, IMO. I hope this isn't a Cult retread where the primary character is being gaslighted (gaslit?) by everyone and is stumbling around completely clueless.
  11. I'm trying to imagine how it goes. "OK, we need you to pretend you haven't bought the home yet. You, we need you to pretend to insist on a huge budget and room for all your shoes, and you want a 'white, bright kitchen'. Yes, you MUST use the exact phrase 'white, bright kitchen'. You,we need you to insist on a smaller budget, a man cave and you want something vintage you can put your 'stamp' on. Oh, and Wife? Demand that anything older than five years is a 'complete gut job'. Yes, you must use the exact phrase 'complete gut job'. No, you won't look ridiculous, entitled or like a shrew/jerk off. Our formula is wildly successful. Plus, people don't watch to see beautiful houses, they watch for DRAMA. And no, no one will suspect the storyline is 'contrived', why do you ask?"
  12. Making my way through all the seasons. I may or may not be related to someone who's a "Charlie". Didn't finish school, never went to college but said person can HACK. Even got hustled into an FBI office and interrogated in the stereotypical bare lightbulb room. And ended up getting hired by the very industry they'd hacked into, to provide computer security. Not sure why this person has this ability. Just a natural, I guess. I find Felicia Day to be a bit precious, but she comes across as having a legit passion for all things geeky. And her friendship with Wil Wheaton is cute. Dean's chivalry is also cute. Didn't like sending the 90 pound girl into the Levi Den. And I also liked the coworker. Star Wars Princess Leia/Han Solo reference!
  13. There is a difference between seafood and fish, seafood coming from the ocean and fish coming from lakes and streams. I always looked sideways at sushi and other seafood restaurants when I lived in Vegas because I'd grown up on the California coast and knew that seafood in Vegas was not nearly as fresh. I don't care how it's brought in, it definitely sat at the airport or in a truck on ice for several hours so ick. I'm annoyed because I missed the episode. Sling told me it was airing at 7:00 pm local time but they actually aired it at 5:00 pm. Only saw the last few minutes. And I can't watch the local broadcast from 8:00-10:00 pm because I get up for work at 4:00 am. Boo.
  14. I use "grody" all the time, but I was a teenager in the 1980s.
  15. Probably producer driven. Must.Have."Storyline".
  16. I stopped watching Florida Vacation home in the first few minutes. Her voice was so grating! Plus I have zero interest in Florida. I did see the very end when she was screeching about buying the biggest and most expensive home. Good for her 🙄
  17. I do actually walk almost everywhere which is why I am reluctant to move out of my (very walkable) neighborhood. It was a prime factor in choosing my current home. And yes, the writers need to find new schticks to assign to the buyers/amateur actors.
  18. Just watched this last night. Have questions. If what's his name was "burning" ghosts who ticked him off by throwing their bones into his fireplace how was he able to attempt to "burn" Bobby? He didn't have his bones and Bobby hadn't died in the house. Did he get ahold of the flask somehow and I missed it?
  19. The other two houses they tour are decoys. They're not really for sale or they are Air BnBs. The production company sometimes pays the owners of the decoy houses to allow them to film. (I apologize if you already knew this.)
  20. I'm going to guess she was also fed some lines by the producer, such as wanting a big closet and a bathroom all to herself. And not liking open concept. Seems like an odd thing for a teen to be focusing on. Some parts of North Long Beach are not that great, but others are family communities that are more safe. The house didn't have bars on the windows which is a good sign!
  21. Strongly disliked the Hefty bag made for the curvy model. Mimi could sell a burlap sack.
  22. I thought it was adorable how she picked up her cone and carried it with her. Like "won't I be needing this?" Unfortunately the next part was horrifying. I do believe the show was trying to illustrate that anyone who hurts animals is evil. I don't see it as the writers hating dogs.
  23. I'm purchasing one season at a time and watching them in sequential order. Just watched this last night. Dean and "Eliot Ness" in 1940s suits. Hubba hubba. I never thought Nicholas Lea was attractive in X Files but in this episode? Yum. I even thought Kronos was hot. Ahem. And I'm on board with loving Ezra ("female Bobby") and Sheriff Jody. On par with Ellen IMO. I do wish they'd kept that deleted scene. Ending was abrupt.
  24. I am so out of touch with what the judges like.
