  1. Palm Tree Head. Is his real name Jason maybe. You know the abusive one
  2. Referred to in this forum as "No Hy-Jeanne". Some smart snarker came up with that one.
  3. So calling shenanigans on the whole "packing clothes to Harvard thing". College students are generally pretty casual, but doubtful Jazz' cold shoulder looks and tie dye dresses will make her feel like she fits in there. Also, if the tie dye dress is from 5 years ago, no way it fits.
  4. RH Watchers, I'm interested in changes made to these outfits for the reunion show. Is the reunion show soon?
  5. Never seen a Housewife episode!! I liked Aaron's, he really listened. Poor Bones, hard to work with all the restraints. The Spanx bit was hilarious. Didn't like Chantal's at all, bi-polar dress. I would have been fine with both Anna and Christina leaving.
  6. Yes! None of my family/friends watch, so I have to come here to discuss. They have no idea what they are missing.
  7. Longtime public school teacher in a red state here. I guffawed and chortled at Griffen and Jazz and their unbelievably naive thoughts on legislation for school employees and the Be Nice campaign or whatever it was. It.Will.Never.Happen.Ever. I'm not saying that I don't think that kind of teacher training isn't valuable or needed, just that it won't happen. We have a 7 year old child in my hall who was assigned female at birth. Now he goes by the name James, and the Brouhaha about which bathroom he uses was unfathomable. Mandatory teacher training- ain't gonna happen. End of story-James now uses a faculty restroom. Not the perfect solution, but the best one we had.
  8. Yes times 1000. They obviously got lots of help from medical professionals when Jazz told them as a young child she was a girl. Time now to stop filming and invest in some serious mental health help. She may need inpatient care, it seems that serious. Greg, Jeanette and fam are not equipped to handle Jazz' mental health issues.
  9. Jeanette- getting an airbandb in Boston is exactly what you want.
  10. Jeanette. Know what is going to happen when you do not wake Jazz? She will face consequences. Maybe she will fail a test, maybe she'll miss out on a job opportunity, but it is her job to set an alarm and get out of bed. She is a young adult and you are crippling her. STOP NOW.
  11. I love these forums and am grateful for the mods who keep it all positive.
  12. Ok... now I have to research who this Victoria Allison is. Sounds like her designs are awful! Into the web I go.
  13. Was reading some silly "In Touch-esque" article re this imploding fambly. The author surmised that all this drama might get another season. Who knows since we're a year + behind now, another season may being filmed now. Oh, the possible irony of his perfect kingdom falling apart is what keeps the gravy train going.
  14. My response to LilyD's fun suggestion to rename the thread. "F*** Off"
  15. From a fellow teacher, yes and amen. I teach younger kids, and have really noticed the lack of social skills and patience in my kiddos. It was and still is a balancing act. Not gonna bash Christine and Janelle.
  16. Retta played Donna Meagle on Parks and Recreation. Part of a great ensemble cast. She's funny and can sing. If I were in an ugly house and she showed up, I'd take a day with her and "Treat Yo'self". She was also on another sitcom recently for several years I think. Don't know the name. Always dresses fabulously!
  17. I wonder Meri would have coped better with the jealousies of monogamy if she had a house full of kids like the other 2 did. I think she was devastated when she only had one child. I think it's possible Kody was an ass about her fertility problems. I think watching Janelle and Christine pop out kid after kid tormented her, and then along comes fertile Robyn. Don't get me wrong, Meri brought on a lot of her misery, but things might have been different if she had more kids.
  18. Toodywoody, Re Dayton and ASD. I've learned so much re children on the autism spectrum in last few years! A school cannot (should not) make any ASD diagnosis. That's up to a psychologist, pediatrician or other expert. Lots of people involved in child's life fill out lengthy surveys, parents are interviewed, developmental milestones are examined, etc. There is not always agreement re the diagnosis, but in order to receive any services- speech, adaptive, cognitive, etc in my public school, there must be a diagnosis from someone with a medical background. Students can be pulled out of their general ed class, a special ed teacher can push into their class, or the student can be in a self-contained room. As with everything, the earlier the diagnosis, the better the outcome. Some teachers really provide a good environment for ASD students, some don't. I usually get the ASD students since my class is fairly structured with consistent rules and expectations aka not too much chaos.
  19. Quick PSA re Dayton. Tne term "Asperger's Syndrome" is no longer correct. This according to the DSM (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders). Makes sense as autism is a spectrum disorder, meaning a range between severe and mild. We no longer categorize students at my school as having Asberger's, they are ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) or not. Dayton most likely was diagnosed ASD years ago. Many people with ASD lead typical lives.
  20. To me, a big question is who has a spouse that would ever put them in the position of picking between the spouse and the children? I used to think Kody was a harmless dolt, but no more. He is evil.
  21. Just watched that part. Robyn asked Meri about a wife running the show, and then Robyn answered before Meri could speak. The curtain has been pulled back and revealing the total dysfunction in this fambly.
  22. I can see how Gabe was very hurt by the move. Didn't Janelle say she wanted to stay in Vegas to let him finish high school at the time? Anyway, Gabe has every right to be angry, but hope he can let it go for his mental health.
  23. Finally. Watched the episode and read each of the 5 pages of comments. These people are not acting. Christine and Janelle are done with Kobyn's bullshit. Meri is a tragic and depressed woman and King Kody and the Head Wife are rewriting history. This family has been slowly imploding for years, and covid has exacerbated the process. My hate for Kody and Robyn is infinite. I love all of your insightful comments.
  24. I think I planted the religion seed early on this thread. Only half watched, but with the "compound" talk, the homeschooling of Maegan's kids (although those 2 were barely school age), and no parents participating on camera, it was just a hypothesis. No preconceptions about religion or fundamentalists intended. Loved that he looked at Dr. Now as kind of a coach. That's such a great coping skill. He prob had a good relationship with his former high school coach, so seeing Dr. Now in a similar role is smart.
