  1. On 600 LB Life, they are usually referred to as "Extended Care" facilities. My mind goes to old people at nursing homes and drug addicts at rehab, so thinking of it as extended care as opposed to the more immediate care at a hospital makes sense.
  2. Agree. Let Sander and Jeanette be the family face of transgender rights and let Jazz practice a lot of privacy and positive self care.
  3. Reno epi looks like Joanna Gains and Kody Brown. A more pleasant Kody Brown.
  4. Read something that struck me re New Years resolutions. Article suggested tiny ones, like flossing 2 times a week, going through closet and picking 5 things to pitch. I liked the idea and am going to try. And I agree with laurakaye, 2022 may be different, but am hopeful.
  5. Need info. Missed Live Chat, safe dinner with a friend♥️. He said they lived on a "compound" and assuming parents chose not to participate. Religious extremists? Doomsday Preppers? Fundamentalists? Just Quirky? Loved Maegan! What a supportive sister.
  6. Ok, said I was giving up on this show, but bored. Who is TS Madison? No, really. An activitist? Pfffffttt. And Jenette. Why are you so involved in your children's sex lives? Get a JOB. Get a HOBBY. Volunteer. Do something besides meddling.
  7. Time line is way off here and it continously confuses me. Christine signed those papers early fall of 2020 (I think). Kody had covid later (I think). What I don't get is, if Kody is as consciousness as he proclaims, why not wear a mask?
  8. There's just no rhyme or reason to who gets covid and how severe. Also no doubt that you increase your chances of staying healthy if you Vax, boost, mask and practice smart distancing. For those who watch 1000 Pound Sisters, Tammy who is close to bed bound, weighs 650 plus and may drink like a fish survived covid earlier this year. Figured it would finish her, but it did not.
  9. Hubby had 2 hip surgeries and bought a device that allowed him to clip on toilet paper and wipe. Not perfect, but allowed him to keep his dignity. Tammy has no dignity.
  10. I'd LOVE to hear a professional therapist/counselor thoughts on Kody and Ysabel's surgery. My knee jerk reaction is what a total jackwagon (ha) he is and was. But I'd be interested in how this may affect their relationship in the future.
  11. Fell asleep before Live Chat last night (stupid smoke detector chirped due to low battery at 2 a.m. the night before). What the hell Tammy? Your family should be grateful that you can wipe and clean yourself? I loved these women S1, now I detest their slovenly habits and homes. Tammy is delusional. Everyone needs to run far away and let her navigate this.#Idoitmyself
  12. Yes times 1000. Watch their faces and body language. I wanna hire the body language guy Dr. Shill uses to evaluate this episode. Their bodies and faces belie their words.
  13. Desert Rat, very glad you had such a good outcome. Our son lived alone. One reason we drove to see him daily was to put eyes on him. If needed, I was going in prepared to stay and care. Luckily, like your child, he had a mild case and was 100% in several days but stayed in isolation 10 days. You did and we did what Kody never does which is give a f*** about almost grown children.
  14. Hey Kody - My young adult son got covid fall 2020. Know what we did? Drove daily to see him, delivered groceries to his porch and talked with him through a window. We made it work because family is important. You're a sad, sorry excuse for a father and a man. You go Christine, hope Jenelle follows.
  15. Yes, Christine shares the blame. Having enough money but not getting health insurance for your kids is reprehensible. I give her a partial pass because of her background and that she has found the strength to walk away.
  16. All 3 properties were long commutes. Maybe she doesn't commute daily. Agree that parenthood may be a shock to these "jetsetters".
  17. Know this was meant sarcastically, but Jeanette would be thrilled to have Sander and Jazz living at home. She can totally get more enmeshed in their lives. Greg, not so much.
  18. I get that all of these shows I love to watch are highly scripted. Jazz has crossed over edge now and has lost all that I enjoyed about Jazz' journey. Too many crazy storylines/guest characters/actors that producers are trying to pull together with a common thread. May pop in for snark, but am done with the show.
  19. Yes, yes, yes! The thing is now, especially with eating disorders, we know so much more about them and how to treat them. The family is doing do many things wrong.(Public weigh in, not-quite silent disapproval, etc). Wrong on so many levels.
  20. And we already know from last week how unhealthy her relationship with food is. TLC, time to pull the plug and give this family privacy.
  21. Have loved Aaron from day 1 and was so disappointed at his ugliness towards Bones (who handled it so well). I think he may be just a solitary person. He seems modest while given praise and hasn't trashed anyone in TH's. Maybe he's just needs more quiet while working. Maybe I'm just making excuses for him. In other news, thought Christian looked very dapper tonight.
  22. Seems to be a lot more gushing love directed to the female designers.
  23. Bye Prajje. You were a class act. Hhhhmmmmm. The bottom three were the 3 biggest models. Coincidence? Read a lot in the past few threads about how it's harder to properly fit a larger model. Makes sense here too. Didn't love Christina's. Don't like pasties. Shantel and Aaron were amazing.
