In the world of Everlasting, maybe. In the world of Unreal, I think the actress got her week and they'll be moving on.
-
Maybe we should just refer to Chet as Shit from now on.
-
The timing of that episode was certainly fortuitous. Chet was pretty typical with his excited lezzie, lezzie lesbian stuff. I assume no woman has ever come out on The Bachelor. I have to assume that Faith will make her exit pretty soon. Sometimes this show veers off a little. Rachel's spank material was oddly amusing.

Members of the cast will be live tweeting tonight. I think this is the first night where live is the only way to see it first.

Nintendo is going to blow away online gaming over modems. At least I hope so, because I am so sick of Mutiny. It would be funny if the only things that survive are the chat rooms.
-
Joe and Cameron deserve each other. I think they were having one of those Mad Men plotlines tonight. Donna did nothing but drink coffee and beer. And she didn't even have to recycle the can.

Eric Roberts is playing the king of the Underworld on Lost Girl next season. That's about as evil as it gets. I'll be impressed if they held off on exploiting Mary's illness until episode 4.

Unreal may pass the Bechdel Test, but the whole show is about women submitting to the whims of a man (be it Adam or Chet).
-
Adam already has Grace to take care of his sexual appetite, so I can see where Faith is a good utility player who has the least crazy in her.
-
There was also Rachel telling Adam he had to deliver a "panty-dripping" kiss on this week's Everlasting. Shows like the Bachelor are kind of porn for women. Of course, they throw the contestants in bikinis once in a while so the male viewers don't tune out. UnReal is very aware of female sexuality. I was almost going to say sex positive, but it's not all that positive.
-
Chet and his creepy friend own a big stake in it. They'll hire competent management and keep Adam on for the Cromwell Hotel name.

So my take on this is that Chet stole the Everlasting concept from Quinn and that guy Bill. Quinn didn't care because she was in love with Chet and he probably had more clout, so the show would actually be made. Besides, as soon as he left his wife, he and Quinn would be together with community property. I think that's why stealing the Everlasting resort (along with the hookers) was the last straw. As for Chet, of course he would want something in return for doing a favor in the show's interest. Quinn (and Rachel) are responsible for the show in his view. Anything he does is a favor that must be repaid. However, I though the nose gesture at the end meant that getting Adam to make the deal was repayment. Adam is kind of a hot mess, like a female Paris Hilton. He was probably getting too close with his gf so he ended up with the prozzies (I love that word). He could go groveling back to his father and marry the girl, but he wants to get free of his family. Unfortunately, that means (literally) getting in bed with other shady characters. The Everlasting winery means guaranteed income because of the name alone. Adam definitely knows how to play people. He's toying with the contestants and saving all his real flirting for Rachel because she's the Alpha. I think that's what's drawing Rachel to him, too. They both mess with people for fun and profit.

I was thinking Radon for a minute, since that was a big 80's scare, but it's unlikely since Gordon is in an above-ground garage. MS Outlook let's you recall a sent message, but it hardly ever works at my job. The president of my division sent out an e-mail with comments about a couple of employees and most of the recalls failed.

I'm pretty sure they did not put stupid orange tips on toy guns in 1985. We lived by Darwin's law back then. I actually recognized a song for once, I just don't know the name. It was the one while Cameron and Tom were chatting. So, I'm trying to figure out which RL / TV disease Gordon has. Maybe MS? With Donna knocked up, it may be something more serious. So now Mutiny invents live-action FPS games? Wow, if a bus hit Cameron in 1982 we'd still be chatting on Apple II.

Bingo. Davina joined Twitter when the season started. She seems to think it's a contest where she has to best her critics. That will never happen, because she's not going to change any minds and she's starting to piss off people who were indifferent. The guys are smarter because they pulled their asses off social media. MAFS marries people who don't know each other. There's a high chance of failure, especially if you watch S1 and think there's a 67% chance of a successful marriage. Doug and Jason were wannabe performers and they were able to work out an arrangement with their wives. I think Jaclyn and Davina had high expectations and blame the show for being single. If Ryan threatened Jess, he should work it out in court, not on the internet.

I watched a few in a row, then decided to pace myself to about 1 a month for the rest. Just saw this episode a few days ago. I think Matt's no kill rule is more of a guideline. He's not going to sacrifice himself so a bug doesn't die or anything. Most of the time, Daredevil is under matched. He has the luxury of keeping the guy he just beat up alive. Nobu would not have accepted being left alive. He was either going to die or kill Daredevil. It's interesting if you think about Fisk vs. Matt. Fisk was the son of a bruiser, a guy who beat up people in and outside of his home. Matt's father was a professional fighter, he beat up people for a living. Daredevil fights people like a boxer, strong, strategic and with the ability to take a beating himself. Fisk fights like a bully, always taking the advantage, having overwhelming force and either avoiding worthy opponents or kicking them when they are down.

Jess got a pass because Ryan slept with another woman. He broke character first. The experts love Sean, he says all the right things. He's TV ready. Davina kept trying to say that TV Sean isn't real, which makes the show look like a farce. I'm not surprised they came down on her like a ton of bricks.
-
I don't know that the experts are incompetent, just that they are willing to BS. They had no actual input in choosing the guys, almost none and choosing the women and mostly served to try to hold the couples together for 6 weeks. Either they are pathological or there's a huge financial penalty if they spill the beans about the show.

I was laughing about the picture being an omen. More likely, the picture fell because of the half assed set dressing and so $10 posters from Kinkos.

Darn. All I have is Taco Bell and Mello Yello.

I think legally (since I'm not a lawyer, I should know) no matter what you sign, you always have the right to file criminal charges. However, a contract with the show could prevent you from seeking a civil settlement, which usually means money. It also prevents frivolous criminal charges, which are sometimes a precursor to a civil judgment.

I think while the men on the show were just hired hands, the women on the show weren't exactly there with open hearts. It's a reality show in season 2. They knew they'd get on TV. Jessica got more than she bargained for, being "matched" with a psycho. I kind of understand why there's Davina hate. There was a show called "Joe Schmo" where a reality show was produced with actors except for 2 people (at least in their Season 2). They made it so ridiculous that the woman Ingrid, figured out it was a put on. Fans of the show are pissed at Davina because she was the one who first blew the lid off the show.

I'm more inclined to think Maya wasn't raped, but that she was upset that Adam saw that she had sex with Roger while she was drunk. Mostly this episode was about how Shia is the worst producer in the history of Bachelor type shows. Isn't she second in command? Wouldn't she know half the shit she did would be useless? One would assume she's done at least a couple seasons of this show.

I think some of what makes Rachel tick is apparent in this episode. If your parent (and I guess Dad is kind of a nonentity) psychoanalyzes you instead of reacting to you, it's hard to figure out how to deal with people on an emotional level. I guess Rachel learned to fake empathy and did it so well that she knows how to manipulate a contestant or an audience without feeling it herself. It seems though, that the havoc she spreads makes her feel bad. I think the show is the character you should feel sorry for, not Rachel. Rachel is trapped, however. She has no money, no job prospects and is being sued by the show. Going back to it is the only way she can earn a living and maybe get the suit dropped. She'd probably be better off leaving, but being a bachelorette wrangler seems to be the ones thing she excels at.

I don't watch the Bachelor, but I love this behind the scenes stuff. This is kind of like "I Want to Marry Ryan Banks" except way darker. But it's still a TV show. Ryan Banks and unReal both took place on a week to week "live" basis. The main reason for that is to have more surprise and reaction to the unknown. Who wants to watch a show with a bunch of innocent activity followed by weeks in an editing bay making it look exciting? Rachel in the shower was really edgy. Also, why did she bother taking off her underpants when she was already in the shower. They were wet by then and it's just going to get swampy down there if she puts them back on.
