  1. I think Gileads military would be less because of food issues and fuel issues. How many refineries are in their control? How many oil fields?
  2. Can the Waterfords really just choose to leave the baby in Canada though? Like what is Serena supposed to tell the council? No, I don’t want my baby? They could save face before the whole Gilead leadership knew where she was. But now? I feel like there is only one way for this to go for them.
  3. I’m telling myself the rubble fell in such a way to not kill Cersei and she is now trapped in the arms of her dead brother. She will slowly die of dehydration.
  4. Most of the shows I have seen involving polygamy are religious people who believe in having big families. In my experience, with no religion involved and a normal amount of kids, people seem much happier. For me, I hate having separate households. There would be a lot of resentment if the majority of taking care of the kids fell to me because he’s only at my house every 4th day. We(just 3 of us right now) also all just plan on sharing a bedroom. I don’t have a tlc show to pay for a big house. I think the kitchen is the biggest issue. Lol.
  5. While Canada might not be rescuing people, I bet there would be ex special forces who would be able to go in and get someone’s child out. The wives went about the reading issue the wrong way. They needed to talk to their husbands at home, not corner them together, where now they are defensive and have to prove themselves. Top from the bottom ladies. Make it about reading recipes and sewing/knitting/crochet patterns. They could even go the Amish route and educate girls up to a certain level. Let’s say a wife is going to have a big dinner, am I to believe the man is going to do all the math and figure out how much food they need and double/triple all the recipes? They already give permission for Aunt Lydia to write things in her role as midwife, so it seems they can be reasoned with. I know the show probably doesn’t want to go there, but I feel like there should be a lot more religion involved. Obviously the men aren’t doing their jobs if this 15 yo was reading the Bible. There would be church, man led bible studies, and at home there would be bible time led by the husband.
  6. I understand wanting to rescue your other daughter but she has no idea where they are going or how long it’s going to take. Get your helpless infant safely to Canada and then sneak back in and rescue your other daughter.
  7. I've yelled at my kids because they don't listen, I can only imagine how much worse i would be if I was married to Matt and had those 3 boys as my kids, plus all of their friends hanging around. Does Amy "go off"? Maybe, and maybe it's reasonable.
  8. Even if Amy was agreeable to moving at some point in the future, she has already said she didn't want to discuss Matt building a house on the property without a lawyer, so why do they keep cornering her thinking she's going to agree to anything about the future of the property without discussing it with a lawyer? She's not going to say anything that can be used against her later. Jerk needs to just come to terms that his kids can still have an amazing childhood on that farm when they visit their grandma in the big house.
  9. maybe they could come back next season without her? say she died during the knee surgery or maybe she bought some bad drugs off someone.
  10. I'm wondering if the normal cameras don't have mics? I know they have tablets they can buy in prison so guessing the same in this jail. They can get music and jpay(like email can get pics also) on it. Not sure about games.
  11. From the article, "He's extremely controlling, " explains a Kody insider. "He wants to make sure the wives are in line with what he wants and needs. He really believes women are there to serve a man and tend to the family." The insider continues: "No one is happy in the sister wives' home. Kody is a chauvinistic pig. He barely spends time with the kids and it's such a big deal when he does. He really only wants to hang with Robyn. There's a ton of tension. He's a total bully. It's miserable behind closed doors. Article says the original 3 are all ready to leave. "Meri has told a lot of lies," a source close to her says. "And it's not just about this situation, but over the years, she's had problems with the truth. So a lot of people don't believe her version of what happened with Sam and think there's even more to it." "Kody spends all his time at Robyn's house," says a source close to Meri. (Robyn is due with her and Kody's second child on Jan. 7) "He stays there as late as possible, and if it's another wife's house date, he will go over there at 10, 11, 12 at night and is back in Robyn's bed at 6 a.m." But Robyn may find herself left out one day soon. Kody has made it clear that he wants a wife No. 5- and he wants her to be a teenager! "There was a gal who was 16 or 17 and Kody was trying to marry her," a source close to the sister wives tells In Touch. "Meri was nuts about it. Her jealousy in part drove the teenager away." ..."He has no problem marrying young girls. He's been a witness to these young brides marrying elders countless times." says the source close to the sister wives, adding that at one time, two of the women Kody hoped to bring into the family fold were just 15 and 17. "He was considering it before he married Robyn, and the other wives were like, 'No way- that's not happening!" Adds the Kody insider; "He just doesn't care that his wives don't want to add any more women into the marriage and basically says, 'This is my decision, not yours.' "
  12. I just want to smack them all upside the head and tell them they are doing it wrong. Maybe next season we can get non"mormon" poly families verses the Browns. I would love to see truly happy functioning people compared to those sad, dysfunctional women. Or perhaps Poly Wife Swap.
  13. I saw the life n style too and had to come see if she'd really had the baby. It also mentioned something about her wanting a bigger house and they were discussing the new house that Jimboob bought. Sadly I didn't have time to read the whole thing in line.
  14. Not coming at this from a religious angle because I don't think you can truly consent when you have eternity at stake. I personally think some of us are wired for poly. The kissing and the sex doesn't bother me. Most people I "know" want STD tests run regularly. I know cold sores are common, but there are still those of us out there who don't want them so that is something that is discussed and is within whatever poly dynamics a group has agreed on. I admit, the cold sore thing skeeves me out. Maybe the original recipe Browns already had it so it didn't matter when they added Robyn. Kody sucks and I really do think his relationship with Christine is abusive.
  15. I don't think poly should be done if you are basically forced by your religion into thinking your afterlife depends on it. Not that I think poly is ever easy, but these people make it look bad for the rest of us.
