  1. Yeah, just looking at the cast list I'd have to imagine there's going to be a lot more puzzle/trivia challenges. It's gonna be a much more social game -- especially considering some of the people they chose from BB who I can't imagine lasting long if they have to rely on their physicality. Don't watch Love Island. But I know who I'm rooting from from the BB, Race and Survivor crowd so they certainly will go first.
  2. The blood was so dumb. The first thing I thought when I saw it was "how are you going to explain that to your tribe?" Did the three mud/blood people have any conversation about what they were going to tell their tribes they had to do? I would have been coming up with an explanation while I was smearing the other 2 up. Given no one else is going to see what they did but once they merge people might ask questions and I'd want my story to line up (even though we now know they probably will not work together].
  3. I hope he does. I'm always sort of nervous for shows that had such a great season if they can replicate it again. OMITB/Murderville fall into that category of can we capture lightning in a bottle again, but with a limited number of returning cast it sort of makes me think of Squid Game. I'll be rooting for them all!
  4. The only thing that bothers me about the finale taxi luck is it can give an advantage to a team that is from/visits the finale city and knows there way around. Spoiler about this season finale location in case people don't watch the previews.
  5. The only way I could see sort of making a "grid" would be to start at one of the pillars and do small circles around it. Of course, this also gets messed up when other players show and get in "your grid." I absolutely agree with this. Needle and a haystack was hard, but also showing up later was sort of an advantage cause there were less bales to choose from. Though if I do recall correctly one team unrolled a bale that had a clue in it and missed it and I think the team that lost (bless their souls for continuing until Phil had to come and get them] showed up mid pack and just could not find the right bale. By making them leave the rocks as is and not marking them, they didn't make it easier for late arriving teams. But your point that someone could have missed a coin (As Kim did] discarded it and other teams wouldn't think to look there.
  6. I was actually glad to see Dusty hooting and hollering after finding the rock last. Before I thought he was doing it to gloat and now I think that he just does it cause he's excited. He's not boasting that he's the best, he's celebrating that he accomplished the task at hand.
  7. I had the strange thought that Ryan would have been good at the stone task because of his time in prison. This is because my main association with prison is Robin Hood the cartoon where the prisoners do manual labor.
  8. The only way I can see the order being shaken up is if you take away any mental and physical tasks and make it a game of chance. Which, if next week is a non elimination leg as some suspect wouldn't matter much anyway.
  9. I specifically asked the show runner about the Sharon Stone corpse and if he knew that the nipple play was coming. Apparently he was just a model from Central Casting who showed up like 15 minutes beforehand and had zero idea about the touching.
  10. Ah, when he mentioned something about a Colorado pastime (paraphrasing] I just jumped to weed. Someone above mentioned that Lulu and Lala confessed to having the kid's palates. Even in a big city, where there are so many options at your fingertips, if you're not interested in trying new things I can see not being familiar with what it. I live in a city where there's tons of options and still have friends who are content just eating pizza and other fast food. ETA: I made tuna salad yesterday for lunch and absolutely thought of folks on here when I diced up some raw red onion and threw it in there.
  11. I loved that Arun did the wrapping task because he's worked in a restaurant and Dusty did it cause he rolls joints. Sheesh can you imagine if he did the saints task? Penn realized it was probably disrespectful to celebrate right there. Dusty would have whooped for minutes before flexing and moving on.
  12. Do they discuss the onion situation? Did they get souvlaki sent to them after the episode aired?
  13. Yes. I still think it was a dumb move and Nyesha doesn't normally act like that so it was just a bad color for her.
  14. They said they saw a race marker and followed it.
  15. And some people just aren't into exploring new foods.
  16. Yeah, I thought I saw it in the flight attendants car around the gear shift.
  17. I don't think I do it anymore, but I can remember getting in trouble in high school and could not keep a straight face. I attribute it to nervousness so maybe she has the same deal.
  18. Nyesha, maybe next time just throw it in the trash. Same result except it's a] not dangerous and b] some poor PA doesn't have more shit to clean up at the end of cooking.
  19. Where is the couples episode available? The last new episode on foodnetwork.com is the Casino Finale.
  20. I was surprised by whatever chef didn't know what stone fruit was. I thought it was a pretty common term.
  21. Maybe if they were moving around under water the color looked different at different angles? They also said it was murky so it could have been hard to tell. I'm color blind so I would have been at the mercy of everyone else.
  22. I wonder if the group starting times is less of a logistical problem and more of a keeping things fair issue. Like the producers might not have thought it was fair to bunch them on one leg when a team had a lead and not bunch them on the rest. Maybe? Though I don't know if they're bunched next leg or not.
  23. I honestly wasn't grossed out by the maggots until I read this. I'm not going to seek maggot cheese out, but I'd try it. But, just imagining trying to take a bite and a maggot hopping into my eye or up my nose is more upsetting that the idea of eating them. I guess I could wear goggles and hold my nose but that seems like a lot of effort. On the other hand, something about the "pitter patter" of the maggots in the bag seemed soothing.
  24. They both have 3 wins. Anthony and Spencer, who did not return, won the first leg.
