I had thought the same thing. What crossed my mind, and I may be totally off base, is the money for legal fees comes from different sources, where money to pay for medical issues comes from premiums. RIP, Cable. I read the actress wants to produce a movie she's been working on for 4 years & chose to leave. Hope it works out for her since Cable drowned.

Melissa & Ricky: Rico Suave & Chiquita Banana
alegtostandon replied to Nonamichele's topic in The Couples (Spoilers)
This just came up on my Google news feed. Guess Ricky and his wife were in on this...Melissa was tossed in for extra camera time. This show is a joke https://soapdirt.com/90-day-fiance-ricky-reyes-wife-deceived-ximena-tlc-behind-the-scenes-source-reveals-all/ -
Didn't she do that on her original episode flying out to meet Jessie...wear comfy shoes on the plane then change to stilettos that immediately had the heel snap off when she ran to greet him. For some reason, I wasn't able to quote the post regarding Rachel's possible job & someone mentioned doggy poopy picker upper...that's a big thing around here! Did anyone else catch that after Karina called the Dr (can a blood test tell how many 'weeks' pregnant you are?) & Pole said via translator app that he wants to be involved in the baby's life, Mother Katrina, via translator app said: 'A son needs to be surrounded by love' But the caption below said: 'A child needs to be surrounded by love' I wonder if any authorities watch this footage when approving the visa. 'My-Kell' and Hazel have no business being approved. Hazel had no interest what so ever in whatever his name is. Is she even aware of the fact that he has a special needs child she is going to have to raise?

Carrie Ingalls: A Special Child on the Prairie
alegtostandon replied to Louise Vanessa's topic in Little House On The Prairie
Watched 'Alyssa!' the other day. What kind of drugs was Carrie on that she would black out on the way to the mercantile to buy candy or while out picking strawberries? When she'd wake up, it wasn't like curled up, taking a nap. She was out in the open in the middle of the field flat on her back like she'd just blacked out. And, what's this sudden obsession with Carrie and Pa. After being gone for a month, the second he steps foot on the property, she has to yank him away to meet her imaginary friend. Just a very strange episode. It was almost as if they were trying to see if there was any way they could try to make Carrie a larger character & just gave up after that. I don't think we saw much of Carrie after that episode unless she was just sitting at the table. And, speaking of sitting at the table, 'Baby' Grace looked so out of place sitting in that high chair! -
You need to sign up for a CBS account them decline to sign up for the live feeds. Still cannot stand Bayleaf or Crock Star. Who the hell does Bayleaf thinks she is saying '...and I bet they think they're playing a good game.' in reference to Tyler & Angela. Excuse me, who is the one sitting in the JH. And then making a comment that Tyler had a F2 with everyone on that couch. He didn't have one with her, Falafel, Hayley, I think the only legit 2 he had on the couch were Brett and Sam. Thought it was funny no one in JH mentioned JC.

...and I am west valley (Surprise) and somehow always end up on 10 going east! lol! I took Jon as saying he, at a certain point in his life, was willing to screw whoever, regardless of marital or relationship status of the other person. From what I have gathered from his mum, sister and friends, he has never had a committed relationship. I took him as saying at the time, he saw nothing wrong with it. I have known a lot of people who would only have sex with a married person because of not wanting any chance of a commitment.

It does not matter if someone is 'watching', the vehicle here in Phoenix or how busy it is or is not. We are not allowed to have any vehicle 'standing' for any reason. Picked my sister up at Sky Harbor Airport a while back (same sister who served saltine cracker & tap water). She came out & my niece had left a piece of luggage sitting on the carousel. Sister Tostandon ran back in to get it. I was told to move along, I've been sitting there for too long. Told them my sister would be right back, they did not care, told me I could not just sit there. Left Niece Tostandon on the sidewalk to wait for her mom while I had to circle around the whole airport again-praying the whole time that I would not accidentally get into the freeway going to the east valley! Anyone who has ever been to Sky Harbor knows what I'm talking about! Of course Ricky had to tell Leftover that she was 'Second Plate' and she was getting a ring intended for the one he thought was sexier, I mean, who he had a stronger connection to. Could you imagine if he didn't tell her & she found out on the reunion show!? I don't know why these people feel they need to look to other countries for 'true love'. Wasn't it that new Catholic stripper who said men in America were afraid of commitment? Maybe she's going after the men who frequent her strip club.

Ok, I had so many posts marked to quote & comment on, thought I'd better before my post was nothing but quotes. Now I can't remember what I had wanted to comment on with some of them. Omg, I would choose friend Matt over Jon any day! Who is Rachel to judge anything Jon's done in the past as she's walking around with a 'one night stand' baby hooking up with a karaoke man she met online & forces her little baby to call him 'Dada'. I don't know about airports in C.T., but here in Phoenix, you can barely get someone's luggage out of the trunk before you're being yelled at to keep it moving. In addition to the long, straddling goodbye outside, she was able to run into the airport for another straddle! Here in Phoenix, your car would have been towed by the time all of that took place! Made me think of the time a friend of mine took a bed over to my sister's house and she offered him a glass of tap water & saltine cracker with peanut butter spread on top! When Pole says they ate a weeks worth of food in one sitting, I envisioned them roasting chicken, throwing a pot roast & potatoes in, waiting for that cook, they ate bologna and peanut butter sandwiches. Lost a quote but I think it had to do with Smokey Angela and her 'one, two, Three!' lies. All Michael had to do is tell her he was envisioning her while getting the BJ & she would have been thrilled.

I always wash new clothes before wearing them. You never know who tried them on before you.

I liked Paul also, RealityRocks. Just my opinion, but I'd much rather watch a, season of Paul over a season of Cody. He was just terribly boring. I've said it before, IMO, only reason he was voted Favorite houseguest was to piss Paul off. Please! Let Sam and JC both go this week! I just cannot wait to see how they both react at getting voted out.

S20.E32: Live Evictions #10; Head of Household #11
alegtostandon replied to Lamb18's topic in Past Seasons
I was thinking the same thing, even looks a bit like Scottie. I use to love this video, back in the good old days when MTV played videos! I cannot imagine how playing football would be an advantage. Maybe a bowler or golfer. -

I like Derrick & was happy he had won. Yes, being an undercover cop gave him an advantage on how to read people, but there are plenty of other careers that give the same advantage. I am so ready for JC to take his spot next to his best bud at the jury house. He is so jealous of Angela & Tyler, you can almost see the green arrows shooting from his eyes. He sure did toss Tyler under the bus in his Goodbye message to Scotty. Speaking of Scotty, what was he on? I could not understand a word he was saying, he was jumping around so much, I expected him to leap into the audience. Couldn't believe he grabbed Julie like they were best buds. We laughed so hard when JC was confronting Tyler in the HOH room about hearing Angela dash from the bed to the sofa & said Brett was smart and noticed something between Tyler & Angela too...camera goes to Brett in the kitchen making goofy sounds. Why was Brett trying to get JC pronounce turtle as 'turdle'. Was Kaycee just laying low all season -
Just saw a segment with Haleigh lying on the bed with someone's head on herlap, Haleigh has her hair slicked back. JMO, this is not a good look for her, she has a very strong receding hairline for a girl her age
-
I knew he was familiar! That was years ago! IIRC, he was a back woods character on RW who ended up being loveable. These 2 do make me smile.
-
I am a full day behind, just saw the segment with Tyler's hair. I think Sam did his hair like she would do her own, it was a bit too 'styled' and feminine for me. After everyone played with it & braided it, then combed it out, I liked it. Have not seen Brett's or Kaycee's yet. I think Tyler & Angela are adorable together, but was really hoping Tyler would keep his game play a priority. They do bring out great qualities in each other. I've been pulling for Tyler since the beginning. Please, please, PLEASE! Don't let Rocks for Brains win the 'Win Back'! Guess that could be either 'Rock Star' or Falafel but I did mean RS. Just saw the pic of Kaycee that Atomic posted. Wow! Looks like a different person!
-
I totally agree with you. They have already been evicted by the majority. I never agree with any type of a battle back. If they want to do something with the jury house, have comps set up for them to win prizes or money.
-
I honestly liked Saggy 'C'eats on his pre-house segment. I did not like him after he entered the house.
-
I remember this part, she was trying to buy a local type dress to give her spandex leggings a break. What I really caught was the look on her face-scary! In regards to Karine's pregnancy test, for all Pole knows, she just ran it under the faucet. If I were Karina's dad, I would have taken Pole's records to the police dept to have them check it out. Pole is just creepy. Angela is younger than I am but looks so much older. She could really improve on herself with a good haircut and wearing something besides leggings and T-shirts. I'm not saying women over 50 have to wear polyester (my saying on my 50th birthday, I will never wear purple polyester), but there are items that would be a better fit to her body type.
-
Terik, maybe she didn't kiss you because she does not like or care for you. Isn't she the one who rejected his Skype call because she's too shy? She's not 'in love' with him, all she wants is a ticket to a better life. Won't Annie be jealous when she sees this! Hazel is getting a man who has a job, nice house, and sperm while she's stuck with David Poor! And I bet her parents are not even going to make Terik trade them any water buffalo! I thought that Melissa looked a bit like that youngest Kardashian (Jenner?) girl, the one obsessed with fat lips and make up. I wonder if she will ever make room in her busy schedule for Ricky.

There was a lot more to Chima being evicted than her throwing her mic pack in the pool, she was refusing to follow the BB rules, refused to wear her mic, I was glad to see her go. I'm horrible with names, seasons, etc but remember that one girl who hooked up with the pizza delivery guy. She would torment the other houseguests. The way I viewed it, RS did not 'give' Tyler the correct answer, it was more her wanting to verify she had the right answer. Of course, with her inflated ego, she said to Tyler 'hey dude, you have the wrong card, here's what the right one is, you have time to go back to get the right one.' I hope Tyler wins this season. IMO, he is what BB should be, someone playing the game, not taking themself too seriously and having fun. He has won everything fair and square. I will be so happy to see RS walk out that door, her voice is grating on my nerves. At least she does not wear those awful glasses any more, at least that I've seen.

End of the school year testing and poor Andrew Garvey cannot pass a test while Nellie was passing with flying colors. Albert was doing pretty good himself. Mrs. Garvey is pretty embarrassed her own son could not pass so Nellie offers to tutor Andrew out of the goodness of her heart. Turns out her way of tutoring is by having Andrew steal the tests from his mom. She writes the answers on the lining of her jacket, which she wears every test day. There is so much writing on that lining, I don't know how she can even read it. Laura catches Andrew cheating & tells Pa & at the same time, informs Pa that Albert is pretending to not know the answers so Andrew will not be mad at him. Pa, of course, with words of wisdom, gets them both back to the path of honesty. Final testing day, Alice proclaims it to be too warm for Nellie to be wearing that same brown jacket she's worn every test day & takes it from her. Albert is proclaimed the blue ribbon winner and all is good in Walnut Grove. When Albert was announced the winner, the scene goes to Albert while everyone (except Nellie) is applauding. It shows Albert looking behind him, clapping along with everyone else. Then he's shown looking forward while everyone is applauding, very obviously 2 different scenes spliced in. The very best part was Mrs Oleson confronting Mrs Garvey saying she graded Nellie's test wrong. Alice handed her Nellie's jacket and told her she can check the answers herself, they're all written on the jacket lining. Good thing Mrs Oleson did not offer up that silver cup Laura had won in the horse race & returned in exchange for shoes for the whole family...Albert would have kept it!

I have not been a Bayleaf fan since day one. As a frequent flyer, the last thing I want to deal with at the end of a busy week is a rude flight attendant or ticket counter agent (they showed her working at the ticket counter on her introduction). So...I loved seeing her of the block and am hoping she's sent packing. Her tiara can hit her on her backside on the way out of the door!

S20.E17: Live Eviction #5. Head of Household #6
alegtostandon replied to Lamb18's topic in Past Seasons
Have to politely disagree about Rachel getting AFP. To me, AFP should not be a pity prize. I totally disagreed with Cody winning it last year, IMO, he was, and still is, the most boring person to ever play BB. Only reason he was voted for AFP is because of people's hate for Paul. Such a huge difference between BB and Survivor. Rachel had a 50/50 chance of being voted out. She knew it was going to be either her or Brett. I have seen players totally blindsided on Survivor and immediately afterwards they say 'wow! That was good, I didn't see that coming!' No blubbering about how unfair it was. Must be the maturity levels of the players. -

Guess I'm in the minority but I loved Brett's speech, reminded me of the first few seasons of Big Brother. So much more interesting than "you're all my bestest friends and I love all of you!" Make the HG's think! I love the comparison to Saggy C(eats) meeting Fresh Prince! Practicing handing flowers to Mom Baleigh in front of the mirror! I don't believe for one second that he had only 5 t-shirts made for the show, I bet even his undies say Swaggy across the front! The only way Baleigh missed being a genius by 1 point is if she took one of those internet 'Are You A Genius' quizzes. -
Duff was one of my favorites. He didn't let Tyler push him around. The excitement when he caught a tuna was contagious! I will miss him on the show ?
