  1. Thank you all for your words of support. This had happened in the Bay Area, I'm in the Phoenix area now...She found me thru Facebook. I immediately started making mental plans on when I could fly to CA when she told me that she now not only lives in the Phoenix area, but 5 miles from me! I do not have any statistics on friendships built between the "families", but it is wonderful, we want to write a book to help others. Her parents live a few miles from me also. My dad flew out from Chicago a month after she found me & we all had dinner. It's been an amazing blessing.
  2. Yes, she does (I think she's still living). We saw her live when we were on Kauai several years ago, she has a home there & put on an impromptu performance. She is an absolutely amazing guitar player!
  3. She looks like this woman who was popular in the '70's, I think her name was Charo, she was Spanish and famous for saying something like "Coochie, coochie, coochie". She was always on The Love Boat... I do like a Shi Tzu better tho! What in the world is going on with her lips!? I saw am article on Google this morning saying because of her pregnancy, she's had to stop getting Brazilian Blow outs.. Her lips were HUGE!
  4. I was born & raised in Chicago and very proud of it...but naming my child after the city has never crossed my mind...
  5. You are absolutely right, Sunnybebe, any excuse they can grab & run with. Everyone has something in their past. It's learning to accept it & move forward. Not to be a drama queen after just talking about the accident but when I was 18, I was "date raped" (not a term back in the late 70's) & ended up pregnant. I will not go into the whole story, but my dad arranged an adoption thru his attorney. Yes, it hurt emotionally, both the rape and giving the baby up, but I knew she was going to a great family. I guess I have a great family too because my dad made sure I received counseling. Again, I did not use this as an excuse to become morbidly obese. I continued on with life, have been very happily married for 34 years & even have a wonderful relationship with the daughter I gave up & the amazing couple who adopted her. We all have pain from our past, it's just not allowing it to run your life. This woman was the first I remember seeing wear underwear...we know Stephen did not! Most just pull their polyester black pants up minus undies. Not only did she wear undies, she wore a matching set! I have no words for the butt wiping kitchen tongs.
  6. The scene of her driving her cart a la Pauline Style down the street & thru the fast food drive thru cracked me up! I am very claustrophobic & panic when flying...I've flown my whole life & this just started a few years ago. Dr gives me 4 Ativan pills 2 for each way. Only problem is, I have to take them 1 hr before the flight, by loading time, I'm floating down the aisle! As soon as we sit in our seats, I'm out. Can't imagine them trying to drag a 700 pound passed out person to their seat. I don't understand these people who use "knee injuries", etc. as their excuse for weighing over 600 pounds. I was in a horrible car accident in my 20's, spent my whole 30's in & out of the hospital, averaging 2-4 surgeries a year, 2 on my knees. I actually went the opposite direction & dropped from 120 to 87 pounds, which also causes some horrible health issues. I've been able to gain & maintain a healthy weight, but have really had to work on it. I was told I'd be in a wheelchair by 40...like hell! I guess I could have just laid in bed & ate, but I fought it & still walk on my own today. I also don't understand these people who expect their siblings to drop everything in their lives to follow them to Houston to care for them. I love my sisters and brother dearly, but unless it's an emergency, I could not drop my life to care for them.
  7. I missed the first hour on Wed night, so I did not see her childhood trauma & early pictures. I came in where she was seeing Dr Now for the first time. Just listening to her tone and the way she'd respond in that sickly sweet voice, then when the "caring" niece came to visit, she greets niece with "hey girl!", I thought she may have been attractive at one point in her life & was use to flirting. Saw the first hour Thurs night, sure enough, there were the popular 80's Glamour Shots photos. Speaking of the niece...haven't we already had the "caring niece" in a previous episodes?
  8. lol to the Snidley Whiplash character! I knew I had seen that guy before...same type of character. Had to Google it, Of course, he was in LHOTP, the episode where Albert was addicted to morphine,, He played Charles boss in the clothing store. I'm sure he must have been in Bonanza & Highway to Heaven since they all seemed to be similar episodes & characters. I was in my early 20's when these shows first aired, just started high school when Little House began. I never watched these shows but did watch Waltons. My mom got me hooked on Little House in the 90's when they were running on TBS all morning. I became addicted to it! I had been in a car accident and had to stop working. In the hospital TBS was about the only cable channel & it ran on east coast time, so LH started at 3 am my time.
  9. I never watched that show during its original run, but did watch when it was on one of the cable channels recently. I never connected her to being Donna Martin's mom!
  10. I was reading something just the other day about how hard it was for MG to transition into an "adult" on the show, in real life, she was 15, said there was no chemistry between her & Dean Butler (who knew he is married to the woman who played Mrs Martin in BH 90210???). The change in LIW character towards Manly was aggravating. For someone who wanted to marry this guy so badly, she treated him as if he were in the way.
  11. I was ready for Elise to go the first episode of her season. Ramsey has to think she's adding to the ratings. I'm actually developing a bit of a disrespect for him for keeping her around after all of the trouble she's caused. I was really disappointed to see Dana go over Elise. I'm not sure what Jennifer's thinking was in forming an alliance with Elise. Even if they choose to put Michelle up next week, Ramsey does what he wants. An alliance on this show makes no sense. There is no way Elise is emotionally ready to be in charge of a restaurant, she'll have the whole staff walking out on her the first week. But...Jennifer is not management material either. I don't see either one of them making it to the end....
  12. I remember one of the previous episodes, Steven was getting ready to go to the Dr's, he took a bottle of cologne and sprayed all around his crotch, like that would mask the smell. I agree with you about different mothers, they have no similar features...except their body types.
  13. What the hell is this disgusting, dysfunctional family holding over TLC & Dr Now that they feel it necessary to keep updating us on them? I kind of remember Steven seeing a therapist in the past. The day he "tucked & rolled" out of the back of the golf cart, he had an appointment with the therapist, he claimed to be in too much pain, so dad saw therapist while Jr sat in the van & called the paramedics. The therapist talked Sr into standing up to Jr. Those legs! I have always thought they looked like hooves also. Jr thinks he is some celebrity & is loving all of this publicity. I went onto his Facebook page once after the very first time this family aired & he had women telling him how they loved him. What in the world does Sr think is going to happen since Jr had this surgery....Jr would automatically lose 600 pounds, his body,, which is completely deformed due to his abuse, would look like a normal body should look, he will suddenly mature to the maturity level of a 36 year old man, get a job, find s good woman & start spawning his own Steven Jr's and Justin's. I'm so glad Dr Now finally told Justin that he's actually in worse shape than his brother. I think because he's mobile & semi productive, he & Sr think he's in better shape. He's 7 years younger than Jr. At the rate he's going, in 7 years, he's going to be 1000 lbs. I've never seen a customer in his hobby store. Yet, there was a little blurb that said he's thinking about opening a second location. His store reminds me of a garage sale setup. Another blurb saying Justin is writing a book about his terrors of growing up with Steven, says it will be a psychological thriller, how scary!
  14. Exactly...I know someone who did this for a hair salon, was paid minimum wage. Had to stand in 110 degree weather for 8 hours, with breaks and lunch, of course. So, Poor David Pour Mascot was basically paid about $100.00 an hour! When we were first introduced to this couple, he said he was in a bar when he heard the "voice of an angel" singing and invited her too have a drink with him.
  15. You are absolutely right, Mrs. Hanson, 2 different meanings! Even as a kid, I felt they were saying his life was so pathetic and miserable before marrying again. Yes! I saw a vending machine at the store the other day where you put in the gift card & it gave you back a voucher you turn into the cashier for the cash...minus a fee. Only other option would be to purchase groceries...all fresh foods! Noticed on the "Very Special Nicole Special" when Nicole came back from Morocco the first time, she, mom and sister were eating lunch on the patio..mom and sister had carrots on their plates, Looked like Nicole had a plate of mashed potatoes and canned corn...she inhaled the mashed potatoes, left the corn...no carrots at all on her plate.
  16. Oh Sasha206...(please don't be offended...I named my Havanese puppy Sasha, I love the name!)...I knew you were not comparing my dad to Poor David Pour. It was after I reread what I wrote made me feel as if I was comparing. Sadly lost my dad last year...even tho my parents divorced, he was always the best dad ever to his 4 kids, regardless of the miles of distance. Didn't want to give a, bad impression of him. Robalee needs to stop supporting Nicole. We have been in Robalee's place..it's hard to do. After turning 21, I never asked either of my parents for a penny..there was one point where I was working 3 jobs. For some reason, my step daughter thought we had a money tree in the back yard & had an endless supply of money to bail her out of her whims. There comes a point where you have to stop handing out & bailing out & allow them to suffer the consequences of their actions, otherwise they will never grow up. And, yes, Nicole thinks she has grown up because she gave birth, but she is extremely immature. And her parents give into her tantrums.
  17. TY, AZCHRISTIAN...funny, him jumping out to surprise her never crossed my mind! ITA, they need to just leave him alone...all of them, including Nicole. I said a couple of weeks ago that he's going to need to change all of his contact info. Wonder if her sister has a different father..she looks nothing like Nicole or the man they showed as the dad. I, too, only watched a, few minutes of that "Very Special Nicole Special". I had not seen the first season, after seeing a few minutes, why the hell did they bring her back?! My stomach was in knots & I had to shut it off when Nicole asked her mom to be his co-sponsor. Her whole "I am entitled" attitude gets me enraged. I want to pull a Nicole & grab her by the shirt, push her into a wall & just scream in her red, bloated face!
  18. Now I need to say this in defense of my dad because I cannot stand the thought of anyone thinking my dad was anything like Dough Boy David...my dad was an executive with a major pharmaceutical company. He left my mom after beginning an affair with a female executive at the same company. He married her a month after my parents 20 year marriage ended. At the wedding ceremony, the comment was made "how nice it is to see Don finally happy.". This was from others who only knew him from work, was not involved in our daily family life, which, until he left, we all...including my mom...thought was TV show perfect. Obviously, their marriage was not. To hear that being said, in front of his 4 kids (oldest 16, youngest 6) made us feel like he was unhappy with us. My dad never pulled a Poor David Pour (PDP) he was always very involved in our lives, paid child support & alimony. Speaking of David Pour..he sure did knock them back...at his Sugar Daddy, Chris's, insistence. PDP should have changed their wedding. I'm sure he did not realize (read...remember) that was his daughters birthday. If he really wanted to try to mend fences with her, he would have changed it to the week before, then done something special for her birthday, sounds like he's "missed" (read...forgotten),a few for both of his kids. My DVR cut off before the ending...was Azin ever located?
  19. Same here! I watch it every time it's on...yes, even if it's the next day! lol ? And speaking of "sisters", watching the segment now with "The Sister's". They are so full of shit in this interview. They were wanting to get a rise out of Andre & even stated that. You can tell Andre has put them in their places & they are now backing off. I cannot believe they showed that segment of Nicole being physically abusive to Azin & it was not discussed. I could not stand the way she was talking to her mom. They came onto this show to discuss everything...not pick &, choose what Nicole wants to talk about. I am saying this next bit as as daughter, whose dad remarried...so a bit of a defense to Dough Boy David's daughter. To sit there & listen to your dad say this is the happiest he's ever been in his life is so horribly hurtful. It makes you feel as if you your whole childhood & family means nothing. I cannot believe, Molly brought that idiot back into, her life!
  20. Lol, Just watched Irving Berlin's "White Christmas"...this made me laugh "...Lord help the mister That comes between me and my sister.. And Lord help the sister that comes between me and my man!"
  21. I actually Googled "Does Josh from 90, Day Fiance have upper teeth" & believe it or not, it came up as a common search! I did find a picture of him where you could see upper teeth..would not allow me to save the picture, not sure if it's ok to post the link. Re: Molly & her new son...right before she blurted that they signed the papers, she had a voice over saying 90 days is not very long to make such a life altering decision. She made it in much less than 90 days!
  22. She could not let good food go to waste! I was waiting for her to put on a Scarlett O'Hara act, start fanning herself with those chubby, licked clean fingers & say "I'll worry about that tomorrow". Someone needs to take custody of that little girl (Mae, not Nicole) & teach her how to talk & interact with anything besides a phone or tablet. Evelyn and her mom had matching dresses! How appropriate. ITA on the comment about David's one friend..he was hot! Looks like Dad Flappy Lips comments at the wedding. I have more respect for Andre than that whole family put together. Didn't Dough Boy David give permission for Anna to spend $200-300? He should have told her $10,000, he knew that card would not go thru & Nikki would end up paying. WTF is Dough Boy holding over the Man with the Dough? He wants to show his kids this marriage is real? Cannot even comment on Molly & her new son.
  23. I can only think of 4 Christmas Episodes... *Mr Edwards develops hypothermia to deliver candy canes, cups & sweet potatoes to the Ingalls on Christmas Day *Laura trades her beloved Bunny for a stove for Ma *Miss Beadle lets the kids leave school on Christmas Eve when it is beginning to snow, unaware it is going to turn into a full blizzard *The whole gang gets snowed in at the Little House on Christmas Eve..snow is packed to the loft window. The last one is what I want to comment on...the Little House is packed for Christmas Eve dinner, including James & Cassandra ("Baby" Grace looks to be about 3 years old, still shoved in her high chair.). Hester Sue shows up with Mary and Adam hiding in the back of the wagon. Laura is pregnant. They are all sitting around the table, telling stories of Christmas from their childhood. They are eating dinner off of those tin looking Girl Scout plates. Wouldn't you think this would be the perfect occasion for Ma to pull out that set of china Pa got for her?
  24. https://www.google.com/amp/www.intouchweekly.com/posts/90-day-fiance-azan-visa-denied-149045.amp#ampshare=http://www.intouchweekly.com/posts/90-day-fiance-azan-visa-denied-149045 I, too, just read he was denied. From this article, many fans are happy...but because they feel Nicole deserves better!! Are they watching the same show I'm watching?
  25. I wish there was a lol avatar! I laughed so hard when I saw this, scared Puppy Tostandon!
