If I were to ever play BB, I would never play to win the very first HOH, you have nothing to base the nominations on. I think where Cody messed up, and this is just how I felt, was when he won HOH, running up to the room with Jessica in tow saying he was locking the door & not allowing anyone else in the room. Then on his nominations, to use the reason "I just don't like you." He alienated people from the beginning. I've watched BB since season 1. I've never seen a houseful of players who knows nothing about the game or past seasons or players. This is why I am thinking TPTB took a group of people who had applied for other CBS reality shows & were rejected &, gave them this opportunity with the understanding that they were not there to win but to help one person to win. We will see soon. On one hand, I want to say I'd like to see Josh win, but he's not making his own decisions. And now he's crying about what a nice guy he is, he has a big heart & does not like hurting people. That's not what I saw in him at the start of the season. He was a Class A bully.

I remember when the current HOH would write a blog on the CBS BB website, so I guess now they Tweet. Can they see responses or likes to their Tweets?

So, this should actually be called "Reality TV Celebrity Big Brother"...that's all any of these people are famous for. I know there's a "rapper" mixed in there, but he became famous for a sex video tape, not his music. Re: Ravens exit interview (sorry, doing this as an edit & I couldn't quote) where she comments about her relationship with Matt & says we will all have to stay tune to see the future of "Maven", like any of us even care! She didn't want attention from her disease, why then she she have to show that pacemaker to that SNL guy who hosted the comp if it were not for attention. She has in her head that she's going to go down as a BB Sweetheart.
-
I'm glad to see Raven gone...she was grating on my nerves! So, in her little mind, the reason they had to vote her out was because she would win based on pity alone. She played a great game by screwing Matt all summer, crying to the camera about how sick she is & "throwing" comps (another way of saying she can't win any comps). She was hanging over that railing so far, I thought she was going to fall over!

That's right! Thank you! I forget he was a pizza delivery guy...he reminded me of a skate boarder . Has anyone here ever applied for Big Brother? I just cannot believe that these are the best of the ones who applied.

I personally do not think Paul should win AFP...really, I don't know who I would vote for. There is usually 1 person I feel I could vote for, but there has been no one this season.
-
I have wondered all season what would have happened if Cody did not win that first HOH. I have felt he could not recover from that. Just the feeling that I was getting was that Cody did not really want to be there, the only reason he was so intent on getting back in the game was to see Jessica...if he had not made that connection with her, I don't think he would have cared about going back in. He would do better on some show where a social game is not a big part of the game. Really, IMO, they should just do away with AFP this season. This whole group has irritated the hell out of me.
-
Thank you, MICHICHICK! I really was curious if others saw something that I just did not see...
-
I'm really curious, I see people wanting Cody for AFP. To me, AFP is someone who I look forward to seeing every week, who plays the game but has fun doing so, who seems to enjoy being there. I did not see any of these things in Cody from day one. He seemed to be very irritated about being there, isolated himself right away. All I ever saw from watching every episode plus BBAD was Cody laying in bed, if he did come out of the room, he'd sit in the sidelines giving death stares, his DR's were always how much he hated these people & hated being there. Are you wanting to give him AFP because you saw something that I did not see, because you feel sorry for him or just to give a big FU to Paul?
-
I do not take the term "meatball" as being an ethnic slur, I think he's is using it like "meathead"...there's other type of meatballs besides Italian meatballs! Just my opinion but I feel these people all follow a strong person in the game because they do not really know the game...They are just there to be on TV & look for a showmance.
-
I was thinking the same thing. The scene where Jorge was with his sister & talking about being afraid of Anfisa, they showed a scene in the car where she was demanding he bring her red makeup bag. She looked so old in that scene, obviously, was makeup free. I had to replay it, didn't even look like the Anfisa we usually see. I do not find her to be attractive. But, I'm not a guy, what do I know.

I was actually cheering for Cameron to win. It would have been a better challenge if there was a totally different game for the final challenge. Even though the maze was different, Cody had just played it & had the moves down. I'm not looking forward to watching Jessica hanging all over Cody again, I do not watch BB for showmance, if I want that, I'd watch The Bachelor. It seems as if people play this game now for the showmance.

I think the reason the others "gave" the HOA to Paul was because they knew he still had safety from being put in the block. I agree that Josh is a tad over emotional, but no need for Cody and his puppet to bully him the way they did. Cody really scares me, that non-blinking glare that he gives. Just curious, Cody went into the den after Christmas, he was too macho to acknowledge the voodoo dolls. If he had happened to, wouldn't he have noticed that his & Jessica's were missing?

S05.E22: Where Are They Now? Laura and Chay
alegtostandon replied to PrincessPurrsALot's topic in My 600-lb Life
Laura: I cannot remember her original episode, was her husband the one who was communicating with other women while she was laid up in bed? I just do not get the "she doesn't need me anymore" thinking. No one should marry to become a full time care taker..I mean, cancer or some other disease is one thing, but self inflicted over eating to the point of being 600 lbs plus is something else. This guy needs to get therapy to find out why he feels this is what a marriage is. If he is not able to be gainfully employed due to MS, how in the world did he care for Laura? Moving a 600 lb person around takes a lot more than most jobs involve. Chay: I am so glad to hear that Chay is working! But, I am tired of her blaming everyone else for her eating disorders. Family has opened their homes to her, and in Chay' s mind, they must also follow whatever diet she's required to follow. No,Chay, you have to learn self control. I just cannot believe there is no LGBT community where she lives, I believe it's much easier for her to cry about it rather than go look for it. That whole park thing seemed scripted to me. I wonder if those people recognized her, I'm sure there was local publicity done on Chay. And it wasn't like Chay was just innocently walking around the park, there was a whole camera crew following her. And, if a group of people are tormenting you, why sit down on a bench to continue it, I'd get out of the area. I'm on permanent SSD, my husbands income was never even looked at, it was strictly based off of my income. -
Finally saw the episode where T-Bone & the 2 "runaway" girls come into play. I'massuming Simon and Rose never married, is she ever seen again?
-
I agree about Gregorio, her lips bother me so much, I find I don't pay attention to what she says, I'm just watch her lips, it's like they don't really move when she talks. I'm not sure if they are naturally that way or if it's lip filler gone bad.

These people disgust me...Kim was terrorized by thugs in her hotel room in Paris, so she feels it's OK to turn thug & terrorize another person. Who does she think she is & who does she think she's impressing with her yelling, threatening & swearing while sneaking around in a floor length mink coat.

Saw the episode the other day where Matt & Sarah secretly married..of course, only one who knows about this is nosy Ruthie..God, she grates on my nerves! The Cramdens all go to the Glass's home for dinner on a Friday night, Mom Cramden makes un-Kosher Kugel. Matt announces that he is converting. Nosy, mouthy Ruthie asks if this means he's going to be circumcised. How the hell does she know he's not circumcised? Is that a topic they normally discuss at the after dinner table while the 2 older girls are making out in the living room with a couple of door to door carpet cleaning salesmen who knocked at the door?

Everything on this "reality" show seems so scripted, down to the prayer Kortney did before dinner. She looked like she was trying to keep from laughing while doing the "please Jesus, keep the Kardashian Klan safe, in Jesus name, Amen" prayer. That whole scene with a "break in" at Kyle's was so fake. Kyle was saying there was glass breaking in the kitchen, the motion detectors going off, but according to the police, everything was fine. Who told Kyle there was a window being shattered? Why did she call mom & not the police? My security alarm automatically calls the police. Which brings me to Kendell' s stalker..first she said he was inside her gate banging on her car window, then it was said later that he was in her house. Again, why did she call her friends & not the police? Sounded like her friends called the police when they got there.

I somehow missed this episode...just found it on On Demand. First thing I heard was "ahhhhw, mah lags!"

When this show first started, my mom loved it, she would try to get me to watch it, there must have been something else on at the same time, I never got into watching it. I would watch it periodically, enough to know who the characters were. Then...they changed networks. Whatever they went to, my mom did not get that station. She would ask me to watch every once in awhile to let her know what was going on. I cannot remember which event it was where I felt the show was going in a very strange direction, the characters were not what they were in the beginning, it was either when Mary was tagged as a "bad girl" for some really stupid reason or Matt marrying that girl he had just met at the hospital. I told my mom that she should be grateful that she could not watch the show..it was nothing close to what it had started out as. I am watching in reruns now & seeing the early episodes. The kid who played Simon was great. Such a bright, compassionate kid. He turned into a very selfish, self centered person. The youngest girl was cute at first but even as the early episodes go in, becomes very unlikable. The mother turned into the nastiest, most hateful character. I've never seen a show where the characters changed so much.

If some writer decided to make them Episcopal, they should have done their home work first. My uncle was a very strong Episcopalian & they do not have "ministers" or "Reverend", they are very much like Catholics, lots of kneeling, the Priests are dressed in a fancy garb, not the black robe. These people are some type of a generic Christian group.

Is that Sierra a licensed caterer? I'm not sure of the difference between a party planner and caterer if you supply the homemade food yourself, do you need any type of a license? What really caught my attention, and turned my stomach, was as she and Joy were making cookies, neither wore plastic gloves. Especially when making those generic Oreo cookie things, Sierra was scraping the cream cheese out of the package with her bare fingers, they then continued to roll them into balls with their bare hands. I don't remember if they had their hair pulled back. Then, when someone was putting the food out at the shower, you could see they licked their fingers when putting one of the plates down. These "women" are getting too old to be living at home, acting like teenagers, but I guess someone had to be around the house to care for the younger children. I find it very strange that Sierra's best friend is an 18 year old. She has to be in her 30's.

Kim Kardashian Thomas Humphries West
alegtostandon replied to Lisin's topic in Keeping Up With The Kardashians
I really wonder what Kim would look like if she has just allowed herself to age naturally without having to have certain facial and body parts pumped up. Maybe she feels good about herself by posting topless pics while flipping the world off, but, in my opinion, most pictures I see of her today out at events, she looks very matronly with her hair pulled back to tight. Like a lot of others have said, she never seems to smile anymore. I guess her mouth just cannot stretch into a smile any longer.
