That is my speculation as well. I'd love to see it. We did see Rumple trying to convince Emma to let him go. I imagine he'll use the same tactics on Dark Hook with more success. Hook has already admitted to being the villain in their first meeting. He may still feel some guilt for that, and this Rumple will be more like that original one that Hook victimized.

I haven't thought about Down With Love in ages, but yes...great movie. For a good dark comedy with a great soundtrack, I'd say Grosse Pointe Blank. I'm on a John Cusack roll this evening. I really enjoyed Cinderella (2015) too.

I like Enchanted too. I've seen Serendipity on the listings several times lately. That's a nice upbeat movie with a happy ending too. Some angst, but you've got to have some!

I'm excited for Dark Hook if for no other reason than we'll get some superlative acting out of it from both Colin and JMo. Angst does not bother me, and I like the fact that my favorite TV couple has such a great love story and good focus in this arc.

Colin should do a charity t-shirt of Dark Hook. I would buy the heck out of that. I already have the Dark Swan shirt; I need a matched set!

Yeah, I read that and immediately thought, "What fresh hell is this?" Then I laughed. Please writers, do not mess with the epic romance you have established.

With this news, what I hope happens is that Hook will throw his Dark One tantrum and pull out of it once the initial rage is spent. However, if they mess too much with the true love that he has for Emma then that might spoil the whole relationship for me. They've been so careful in building it up, that I just can't see how they would throw it away. Besides, we're going to have to want to root for him to be saved in 5B. I would hope that the whole UW arc will be a chance for him to take a look back at his life via all the dead villains coming back into the story. I've always been interested in a "It's a Wonderful Life" episode, so maybe we'll get that for Killian.

I don't like it, either tbh. I don't think it fits him. But I wouldn't want to discourage anyone from using it if they like it.

I keep thinking of when Emma first invited Hook inside her house. Her self-satisfied smile after he said, "You may think this is who you are, but it isn't who I am." takes on a whole new meaning! Also when she said "Now there's the pirate I know." Kind of cool in retrospect.

Is it wrong that I'd like to see Dark Swan and Dark Hook having a turf war over the house? I mean if I were Granny, I would not want the Dark One hanging around my place. Might be bad for business!

I feel their anguish, I really do. But I am way too excited for the angst to come. I have no doubt everything will be resolved. All I'm hoping is that we don't get any kind of plot resembling the stuff they've put OQ through.

I think Killian is very strong and has shown us that. Emma is his motivation for becoming a better man, and I think he will need to cling to that and not give in to the anger. I understand his anger, and I understand Emma not wanting to let him go when she could do something about it. I think he'll come around, and I'm going to speculate that Rumple may be able to help talk him down.

What is Dark Hook's hobby going to be?

The only thing I can think of with Killian's 180 towards Emma in the ep is that he's pretending to side with Zelena in order to protect Emma from her.

I predict a Dark Ones throwdown of epic proportions coming. How did Killian go so quickly from, "I'll love you no matter what you've done" to the total opposite, teaming up with Zelena against her? C'mon Zelena, this is your OTP we're talking about. I could not focus on hour 2 at all, so I muted it about halfway in. I did see the lovely goodbye scene between Merida and her father, though. Well done there!

Well, didn't Merida have a flask that allows you to speak to someone who's crossed to the Underworld? I can see that coming up again.
