I wish 5B would be a little more hopeful, but it looks to be kind of bleak. I'm ready to see CS back together and happy for a while. The angst is wearing on me a bit for those two.

Work closed a little after noon here. There were some snow showers, but no accumulation. I remote desktopped into work after I got home. I'm stocked up on Vodka and things to mix it with....which is practically anything! I'm sure most of the roads will be passable tomorrow.

Happy birthday, MaiLuna! It's also my father's birthday today. HoodlumSheep, I have the Enchanted Forest coloring book too. I also bought a set of 132 Prismacolor pencils after I realized Crayons weren't going to cut it. Bad news, I dropped my smartphone and cracked the screen. Good news, I was due for a phone upgrade so now I have a new Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+. I love new toys. I've been doing my share of cooking lately. I've made several sweet potato pies over the holidays, I'm making potato soup at the moment. I love soup and cold weather. I bought a copy of "The Martian" recently. I saw it in the theater, and it's excellent. I really need to read the novel. My work is laying off right now, but our department is pretty lean, so we're safe at the moment. We'll see what the future holds. I hope everyone is well!

I'm so impressed by all of you writing these fics! I'm an avid reader and enjoy seeing new takes on established character stories.

I wonder how that works. I assume the showrunners tell the writers what they want to happen/give them an outline, and then there are revisions to reach draft until a final is accepted. I wonder how much freedom the writers are given with the plot and characterization.

It's going to kill me in all the right ways. I just know it!

I got home a little while ago. I saw Star Wars for a third time while I was out of town, thank you very much! I didn't realize I was in Star Wars withdrawal until a new movie came out. I managed to help polish off almost a bottle of champagne last night, but was not hung over this morning. I don't do New Year's parties. It seems like a much-too-dangerous time to be out on the roads. I'd much rather watch a good movie with friends.

I don't understand the need for actor validation of their viewpoint. Ship what you ship and enjoy it. Fanfiction is your friend of the show isn't pleasing you.

It's amazing how many people I've had to block. I hate to see the cast getting this sort of bad treatment.

I also don't find young males with prolonged adolescent rage/daddy issues attractive. But that's just me.

I have to admit that I haven't ordered any of these dolls only because I'm even now trying to declutter my house. But, the little pictorial scenarios people are putting up on Twitter of their adventures is tickling me to no end.

I'm debating whether to try to leave town on Monday, since there's a chance for severe weather. Ugh...hating all this weather drama!

Didn't someone say that this show originally had a 5 year plan? I don't know if that's true, but this arc feels an awful lot like what we might have expected for a final season. I imagine a CS wedding would be the wrap up for that. I'm curious to see what they're going to do.

They're being coy about the possibility of Hook coming back from the UW...honestly, what else can they do, I guess?

I didn't have a favorable opinion of her, and when I first saw the character I had no idea that Captain Swan was even on the horizon, so it had nothing to do with that. I thought she was cruel to Rumple and it seemed to be only because his reputation as a coward made her look bad.
