I think Jessa was barefoot at her wedding. In the wedding rehersal, Jessa is wearing a knee length dress and her feet are clearly bare. It's possible she wore shoes to her wedding, but I think the point of her being barefoot at the rehersal was to get used to being barefoot at the ceremony. I remember Joy was walking aorund barefoot on her wedding day, but she probably did have shoes for the wedding. I went down the rabbithole trying to find where Chelsy Maxwell said this, but there was something about being barefoot in a "sacred space". I wasn't able to find it again.

Since no one else said it, I'm so happy for Monique Heart. Her snatch game performance was so much stronger than last time, and unlike most of the others, her two performances were less than a year apart. I really liked her Tiffany Haddish and her Red Riding Hood look.

The outfits are little much, but the names are fine. One of my friends has a little girl named Azalea and it's a name on the rise. Amity is a name with certain associations for me personally, but it's fine and in keeping with Temperance of course. Names are getting more and more diverse, and I doubt those names would be too weird among most people their age even if they're more unusual.

Really? I have no doubt that if Jana wanted to court, she would. I also have a feeling that she will court sooner or later. As for Sarah, she does basically what her parents want her to and will be helping more and more with her nieces and nephews. (Although she doesn't sleep in bunks; that's her sisters. ) Jana is still more likely to court than Sarah, and it may be her choice to stay single. It wouldn't surprise me if there was pressure for Jana to find someone, especially as she's pushing thirty and the Laura rumors. It seemed like JB was telling her to find someone when he mentioned her age and single status on her birthday last year. I hope Jana only gets married if she wants to.

I could have divided everyone into top and bottom groups. I love Monet X Change, but I'm surprised she was safe so soon. I was a little disappointed with her performance and her runway wasn't my favorite. Given the way she rode Farrah, I'm short on sympathy for Gia. Trinity looks a little like Joan Rivers with that hair.

Jill, Jessa and Joy all went barefoot at their weddings. So did Chelsy Bontrager Maxwell. They claim it's for religious reasons, but then the men go barefoot and there are no religious reasons for only the women to go barefoot. To save money, JB and Michelle had their kids in flip-flops and barefoot all the time, especially the girls even after the television money started coming in. It's what they're used to and it's normal for them.

Okay that makes sense to me. Although I couldn't tell if Michelle was pregnant or not in the photo.

Yes Israel does look both John David and Jill. I can tell which one is Jana, mainly because she has the same smirk that she does now on her face. Also JB and Michelle are holding the youngest children pictured. (Jana is older than JD.) However Jill looks like a toddler to me, which means baby Jessa and maybe even baby Jinger are born, but not pictured. Jill would have been around 7 months her first Christmas and by the next Christmas Jessa was born in November. It reminds of Jill and Derick leaving Same in the car seat, but at least he's in the photo.

The Gia/Farrah feud is not fun to watch, so I'm glad it's over. I liked when Latrice pointed out this week that Monique has ditched her wig twice (last week and season 10). I also laughed when they asked Farrah if she had singing experience and she said she used to be a phone sex operator. Artist in residence is a cool title and a cool role for a queen. My favorite looks were Manila (that vintage slouch!), Valentina (love Hydrageas), and Monet X Change (just beautiful). Farrah Moan doesn't seem to have as much experience working as a queen as the other girls. I would guess she had/has a day job that she either needs for reasons or she was/is not doing drag full time for some reasons.

It was discussed if you go back a few pages. The two incidents actually happened a year or two apart, so it seems likely this person was young. It does seem quite like they know quite a few people (4 or 5?) like this, although probably everyone knows somebody (a friend of friend type thing). The Duggars however try to limit their acquaintance to people who are Godly enough.

This thread is veering in a direction too much for my delicate sensibilities, but the fireworks talk is causing me to flashback to the season where the guy (Chad Lowe) was a virgin, waited for marriage, and got married to the woman he picked on television. After the honeymoon, they asked him how it was and he said something about fireworks and his wife added they were "short fireworks".

Carlin Bates announced May 25 this coming year as her wedding date. They've been together a while, so it's a little suprising they're not marrying earlier. I wonder which Bates will be the next to court?

@galaxychaser Congratulations on the gym! That is so great. I recommend taking classes if you want to meet people at the gym; classes can be more social ime. But just exercising can really help you feel better and healthier and stronger. Hope more things align for you!

Jana shouldn't be involved in this mess. She was never officially involved with this man. The Duggars had him in their home and he ate dinner with their family. I don't remember him being a jerk about not being involved with Jana, but he did seem interested in his five minutes of fame. I think he should be referred to by the press as a "friend of the family" and not Jana's alledged anything.

You're right! I don't think so. I think they always wore skirts/dresses. It's consistent with their beliefs and the other fundies we've seen. I'm glad to see Joy in pants. I was begining to think her headship wouldn't let her.

So Jinger got the recipe from on-line, but I can't tell who came up with this recipe. Am I missing something or did she not give credit to where she found the recipe? If she didn't give credit to the site, blogger, etc., then she loses points from me. (I know recipes aren't copyright; it still seems to be right way to go.)
