  1. Feel free to remove the spoiler tags from my post if it is allowed.
  2. No, but even on the broadcast show I am starting to like him more. I didn't like him at all a week or two ago. And from reading the reports, he seems to get it more than some people do. I just really can't stand Paul or Alex and they are the focus of 98% of the show.
  3. I'm starting to like Jason more and more. OTOH, Alex is like the worst.
  4. I think it's safe to say that Cody is the worst. I am struggling to find any HGs to like this season, although I did miss a couple episodes. So far, I think I like Mark for some reason.
  5. I came around to truly loving Trinity by the end of the season and I really think she beat Peppermint in their battle. But to her credit, she took the L with grace and was a great sport about it. Shea's weak point was her lip syncing as her Cool For The Summer showed, so this format really did her no favors. I thought the last lip synch between Pep and Sasha was really close but Sasha got it because she was far superior over the entire season. I just think a Trinity v. Sasha finale would have been more fair and satisfying. But hopefully Trinity has secured her spot for All-Stars where she will be a front-runner.
  6. Really? Ru is an amazing actor. There have been several queens who thought he actually gave a fuck about them. ?
  7. Another thing I'm thinking is that maybe Ru was trying to send Nina home , but that doesn't hold water with me because Valentina did not have a lot of performance experience. The fact that one of the judges said the Mary Nun pilot (or whatever it was called) was the worst certainly raised my eyebrows for shady editing at play. I'm still smelling a stunt.
  8. I smell a stunt. This show, while fabulous, is pretty inauthentic in the vain of any true competitive reality show. A part of me is rolling in the grassy knoll and thinking Valentina was paid extra for this "shocking" exit storyline. Only to get a redemption story on the next All-Stars. I mean they do say truth is stranger than fiction, but I tend to give a side eye when it comes to this show. Also, I really can't stand Nina, but I was begging for her humorless sister Alexis to get the boot. I've come to the conclusion that she really is the worst.
  9. Nina is the worst. I wish I had some sympathy for her because she clearly went through something that turned her into such a self-sabotaging mess, but she's just so nasty that I can't.
  10. I love Season 7 but fully acknowledge all the flaws mentioned. To me, Violet is one of the best winners. I live for her stunning and creative looks.
  11. They had a Season 1 marathon yesterday. At the time Craig said his longest relationship had been a month. I am seriously not surprised lol. (And this is why I think he might be a closet case, not because he likes to sew lol. It's very odd for a seemingly-normal 25 year old man to have never had any kind of LTR, if even like 6 months to a year.) What I am intrigued about is why Naomie puts up with it. I either think their turmoil is being exaggerated for the show or she has her own reasons for being with him (being his beard seems like a real possibility TBH). Regardless, I am not really the biggest Naomie fan. I think Kathryn is so stunningly beautiful and because I'm a shallow bitch, she will always have a soft spot in my heart. I enjoyed her scene with Shep and for all the talk of how out of it she is on drugs (allegedly), she does a good job of appearing sober whilst filming. I hope she is just sticking to pot these days. I will always root for Kathryn and hope she can seek help and get her priorities straight. I also don't think Thomas and Landon are remotely interested in each other (beyond maybe sex) and the show pretending anything otherwise is yet another sad, contrived storyline.
  12. My apologies if this has been mentioned already, but can we trade Carole for her mother?
  13. Poor Cynthia was pure filler, which is sad from a returning queen. Definitely one of the most underwhelming Snatch Games. Shea continues to turn it out, but I'd be surprised if she can maintain the high level and end up winning. (Or should I say, I expect her to keep up the level but not win--maybe a shocking exit a la BenDeLaCreme?) I don't like Nina as much as most probably do and didn't think his Jasmine was anything special. I felt the same about Sasha's Marlene Dietrich and it was amusing to me that Denis O'Hare seemed to think she was putting on an acting masterclass. Alexis' Liza was decent and the uncontested winner in an uninspired game. I'm glad Aja did Alyssa only because it made my girl Violet look so much better in comparison! I did like Peppermint's lip synch, but boy that Nene Leakes was, to quote fellow RHOA participant Dwight, "dreadful". I'm not really feeling this season. Like I watch and enjoy it cause you know it's DRAG RACE. But All-Stars was just at such a high level and Season 9 is maybe like at a third (or even quarter) of it. I don't really have any favorites and it doesn't seem like the talent bar is set that high this season. Meh, hope it picks up.
  14. I've watched clips of Bette in Of Human Bondage when she was in her mid 20s, and she was quite stunning. Far more so than Joan in her youth. But Joan was very striking even in Baby Jane and certainly at the '63 Oscars. She aged very well.
  15. The gangly, ugly girl is dead in my book. The way she spoke to her partner truly defied the "Team Fun" facade she's been putting on. I see you, you fake ugly bitch.
  16. But he didn't vote for Sandra, unless I missed something? This episode was everything. That tribal was so incredible. Time for some unpopular opinions. Brad Culpelpper is running this shit like a boss. So so good. That was next level shit he pulled on JT. And did you see him at that reward challenge? My jaw dropped. So hot. I love Sandra. I do not want her to go home anytime soon. Her edit is odd because she's never controlled shit, except maybe in her own mind. I like Sierra and don't think she did anything wrong or annoying. And Malcolm was clearly the smart choice to take out, no matter what JT wants us to think. It was especially delicious that JT tried to set up Sandra to go home without getting any blood on his hands, only to lose his right hand man instead. I live!!
  17. Bette Davis was rather petite. I believe she was 5'3" as another poster mentioned. Even though B.D. is batshit crazy, she has aged well and looks good now for being nearly 70 years old. I don't love some of the liberties they are taking here (I don't believe for a second that Bette slept with Aldrich or that she would have been openly critical of B.D.'s acting), but overall this has been very enjoyable so far.
  18. B.D. is BSC. Here is an interview from when she was promoting her book in 1985. I think she was trying to cash in on her mother's name. She had given an interview to 60 Minutes not much before this praising Bette's mothering skills. Poor Bette was heartbroken over this betrayal.
  19. I really like Hali and have good feelings about her potential this season.
  20. Bette Davis was one of the most fascinating women I've ever seen. I've been watching old interviews with her on YouTube. The one with Dick Cavett from 1971 is a treasure. She's so sharp and funny. She has such so much charisma and is a joy to behold. I just love her so much.
  21. I did think Ashley and Dario flirting was kind of cute. Awww.
  22. It's nice to see that the age limits have apparently been raised. Other than that, I have nothing. This was incredibly underwhelming.
