  1. He lost serious points in my book. For just a split second, I thought she might apologize, but then she said " I'm... never gonna give up on you, Michael" and I was embarrassed for thinking she might show remorse. Luke at the top of the show "who dares disturb this grave?" and screaming Dante's name was like.... Shatner levels of bad.
  2. Okay okay, suspension of disbelief I know, I know. But, prison phone calls are recorded -- isn't that common knowledge? Sonny and Shawn openly discussed desecrating a grave and their upcoming jail break. (pssst, Sonny whispering can still be recorded) Dumbest. criminals. ever.
  3. Well, based on Friday's show, in PC they only bury bodies 3 feet deep instead of 6, so there is a chance he will be able to find the body if he does just dig straight down. And Jordan was there to help him if he got off track. I'm grateful Morgan wants to do something (although I guess that means poor Joss is back to spending her days being ignored by her mother)
  4. Fun stuff... I had a marathon brunch with some friends yesterday. Including a guy who recently called off his wedding (yesterday would have been his wedding day) so we toasted it as the "Dodged a Bullet Brunch" since none of us were particularly hopeful about that relationship. Now they're predicting a whopping 2-4 inches of snow overnight so I expect all the snow-wimps are out buying milk and toilet paper.
  5. Come on ladies, Race Bannon from Johnny Quest.
  6. Nope. not possible. He helped Anna track down Faison (with that awesome cell phone picture) he is totally cleared of any association with the Legion of Doom. Anna and Jordan were great today. I also liked Liz and Lucas. Thank goodness at least Liz acknowledges that Michael has a right to be mad. And that Carly will always put Sonny's needs before her own childrens'.
  7. That is the worst. I usually think I've done really well in interviews, and am always a little stunned when I don't get a job. But then, I'm always a little surprised when I don't win Powerball, so maybe I'm just a little bit delusional.
  8. BB and KS were sparkly. Did Maxie explain why she was so dressed up? Is she working? Looking for a job? Doing something besides prepping for another round of mattress tag with Det. Special Kitty. I can't even with Jakeson and Helena. First she recaps the conversation they had yesterday, then he flashes back to the conversation they had yesterday. We get it Ron, he's supposed to kill both Sam and Patrick. Yeesh, I guess the brainwashing made Jason as ineffectual as Shawn.
  9. BWAH! Shawn continues to be the worst henchman ever. Not only was he busted by Michael, who called the cops on him (which, Bravo Michael!) but he stuck at the house rather than follow Fluke, which was his actual assignment from Sonny. Johnny, never ever change. (how's your Mom? heh) Yes, Sam's bedroom has fallen victim to the graying... perhaps this is a new, more serious strain of "the taupe" that afflicted many of PC's women a few years back.
  10. Is anyone else convinced that Luke Arnold (John Silver) is actually the illegitimate child of Guy Pearce? His face, his voice, its eerie.
  11. Well, come on, it's Carly. Lucas knows she's never going to be anything resembling a decent mother to her kids. The great shame about Sam and Patrick is that I thought they had good chemistry as friends. (there were a few scenes of them during Danny's cancer scare in particular, when he actually encouraged her to move on from Jason with Silas) But this adventure buddies turned romantic crap just seems so forced. And every time Patrick mentions Emma in another sleep over I crack up. and once again, Shawn proves his incompetence. Wasn't he supposed to be a stealthy and shadowy and NOT alert Fluke to his presence? So why in the name of Jasus did he decide to bust open the cellar door with that crowbar?? I mean, he put down the lock picking kit in favor of the blunt instrument. He is the worst, and by that I mean he is exactly the henchman Sonny deserves.
  12. Interview tip: In addition to researching the company- go on Linked In and check out who you will be interviewing with, and your potential supervisor (if you know them). I know it sounds a little stalker-ish, but learning a bit about who you're talking to might help you feel a little more at ease, or even help you find areas of interest to talk about. (and as someone who recently had to hire someone, I saw that some of the candidates had looked at my LinkedIn profile and I appreciated that they were being thorough in their interview prep) Good luck!
  13. So Johnny didn't give his half of the HS to Ms Potato-Head, he sold it before heading off to prison, nice little re-write. And what was with Luke, Mr Live-on-the Lam, consorting with thieves and con artists and hookers getting all offended by Johnny's presence. Why doesn't that make Lulu suspicious, at the very least she should have looked puzzled when he started talking about how he was glad she chose a life of domesticity with Dante. That is so not Luke's MO. on a shallow note, I need Anna's coat.
  14. I'm really hoping that Nic is playing Helena. It would be great (and finally give him a purpose) if he was prepared to destroy Helena once and for all. Hell, let him hire Jordan as a hench-chick and start a torrid affair, now that she's out of the DEA. ... and speaking of Jordan, what happened to Fluke's plan to bring drugs into Port Charles? Did it go the way of taking over Sonny's territory now that he and the other Doomers are focused on ELQ?
  15. I'm fine thanks, the yellow line isn't even my line. But DC's metro system continues to be a regular disaster. I don't know why anyone would leave Australia (except if they hate creepy crawly things). Australia seems to have more than its fair share.
  16. the "Spencer house" is that just Liz's house right? the layout is exactly the same?
  17. God, I hope not. I'm too afraid that would lead to Michael feeling guilty/ return of sad Panda Michael and possibly letting go of his hatred for Carly, Can't she just disappear?
  18. The best part of today's show, Dante mentioned Johnny's guys! Soon they'll be in PC, learning all the denizen's secrets, witnessing all sorts of crimes. Making all those prisoners hang out in the yard, in upstate NY, in January- that's got to be cruel and unusual punishment.
  19. See, this is why Sonny should have just let Johnny take over his territory. We all know Johnny's guys already found out who Fluke is, what his plan is, and how to defeat him. Maybe its because its so effing cold right now, but I just couldn't stand the sight of Lulu in a sleeveless dress in upstate New York in January.
  20. LiRic continue to charm, I don't know why I always get hooked by them. But Oy Ric, pushing marriage already? Ease up, honey. Of course, the problem with bringing up the panic room, just highlights the fact that it happened about 8 years ago, and Morgan (the child Carly was pregnant with) is now in his 20's. But the best part was Ric being able to point out that Michael wants nothing to do with Carly these days.
  21. Here is the big secret about eye serums. It really is a huge racket. Buy Olay regenerist serum (for the face) and use it all over (face, eye area, neck). It works just as well as the fancy stuff at about a third of the price. (BTW I turned the big 4-0 this year, but I'm one of the people who got a little crazy about moisturizing early. I have waaay too much information about this stuff in my brain) I have embraced not keeping up with youth culture. Although sometimes the 20-somethings I work with surprise me. My local NPR station plays old radio dramas every Sunday. Listening to them is one of my favorite ways to spend a Sunday evening. (Gunsmoke, Johnny Dollar- love that stuff) I dont' talk about it much because thought it made me sound about 80 years old, but it turns out I work with several people - at least a decade younger than I am, who love them as well. Maybe its kind of like swing music or bow-ties, sometimes things just come back around again to being cool. (or so tragically unhip it's ironic, and therefore cool, or maybe I just work with dorks)
  22. Oh look, Nic poached another guy's girl. I guess some things never change. Best of luck Nic and Random girl.
  23. I can't believe I wasn't able to express my hatred for "The Christmas Shoes" in KoB's poll. I loathe that treacley piece of crap. Flying on Christmas Eve was event free! The flight left on time, we even had a well behaved baby on the flight- barely a peep, and we got in 20 minutes ahead of schedule. A Christmas miracle to be sure!. I realize I will probably pay for it on the way home. Happy Holidays! And congrats to KingofBirds for his first Hateball championship.
  24. Come on, that baby turned out to be Morgan, and let's face it. He'd have been much better off being raised by Ric and Liz. And we all would have been better off with Carly dead. I can't help it, Ric and Liz have always been a lovely chem-fest for me. It doesn't matter how annoying she gets, put her in a scene with RiH and I love them both. Merry Thursday to all, and a Happy Next Thursday!
  25. I don't know if Sonny would approve of Duke casually taking illegal pay-offs in Carly's hotel. Floved Anna today, the hair, manipulating Jordan, the smile at the end. I had to ff LizvSam, its too stupid to waste time on
