funniest line of the day: Olivia: I try to keep my nose out of business that doesn't concern me. (HA) Morgan and Kiki's awful plan is contingent on Michael taking meds? Except Michael isn't actually taking any? Or is it Kiki's job to routinely give Michael headaches on a regular basis? That might be the smartest part of the plan. And did anyone else get really uncomfortable listening to Spin repeatedly describe Nathan's physical attributes? I'm gonna say, I was liking Liz/Jake.

Ric and Molly were totally adorable. I call total shenanigans. Sonny despises Spinelli. He would never willingly spend time with Spin, let alone ask about his problems. His hatred of Spinelli might be his only redeeming quality.

My theory is that once Barry mentioned seeing another version of himself, Wells knew he had achieved time travel-- which sets off the next phase in his plan (whatever that might be). I actually don't mind if Barry's time travel resets to before Cisco's death /Joe in danger/ Iris reveal. I just hope that it doesn't get overdone. There will need to be another serious consequence of time travel (maybe Eddie dies? Someone other than the captain is gravely injured? I don't read the comics so I don't know what's canon) -- I just want it established that it's not something Barry can bust out haphazardly.

I imagine the 'other duties as assigned' in the mob employee handbook includes a very wide range of possibilities. Also, I think everyone on Sonny's payroll knows that Shawn can't hit the side of a barn. And, as other posters have pointed out, Carlos shows such enthusiasm for his work, everyone is jockeying for 'mob employee of the month' just so he doesn't win it again.

Anna and Nathan and a criminal waste of a couch. Come on show! I have always really liked the friendship between Patrick and Liz. That is one thing the show has gotten right. I'm so glad those two never even considered anything else. I could do without all the Jake talk though.

Well, I agree that Sonny/Carly/Jason prominence had been diminished- while Ron gave preference to the OLTL3. Sonny and Jason were barely around during the poisoned water story, neither were the big hero-- which was great. And, of course, Jason was positively jerk-like during Sam's pregnancy story and *gasp* she was even attracted to McBain while still married to Jason. (all serious departures from the Guza-led days) But the PP lawsuit changed all that. Ron was trying to insert three brand new characters in the slots vacated by the OLTL3 (ME with Sam, KA with Michael, and RH with Carly) and this time around, it was all pretty much a disaster. (the only good thing to come out of any of that was the current 'Michael turns his back on all things Corinthos" story- which I do give Ron full credit for.) Now KA is gone (thankfully!) ME is off with Ava on a completely different show(doing medical stuff at a hospital that is not GH), and RH is with theNina, also pretty much isolated from the rest of the cast.) and Ron seems to be cribbing from the Guza playbook, where Sonny is the much beloved mobster and anyone who goes up against him stands alone. Personally, I'm pulling for Kiki getting caught in some Jerome/Corinthos crossfire. Maybe that would be enough to get Morgan off the Sonny is awesome bandwagon (Sonny's callous disregard for making Morgan a kidnapper so Sonny could 'win' his custody battle apparently wasn't enough to show Morgan that Sonny is all about Sonny-first) But (as always) the word of Jasus will show us the way. Once Jake remembers who he is-- whether he sides with Sonny (and the show reverts totally back to Guza-ville) or he turns his back on his criminal past (maybe even aligning with Michael and the Qs) will tell me at least, the direction of the show.

I'm just a little surprised the poll doesn't include consuming alcoholic beverages as an option. Happy Pi Day! I had a weird interview on Friday. I applied for this job at the beginning of the year. Apparently they thought I was overqualified, but the position above that job became open and they liked/remembered my resume and contacted me. However, the guy failed to mention that they wanted me for the different position when he scheduled the interview, so I hadn't familiarized myself with the job description/responsibilities etc. So I essentially tried to explain why I was qualified for a position without knowing what the position was. (I mean, I had an idea since it was just a higher level than the position I had applied for, but damn-- a little heads up would have been nice) So, I'm thinking the place doesn't really have its act together. Which I kind of knew. And the job would be a PR/spokesperson thing, so I would be responsible for talking to the press about how this place is doing. Hmmmmmmm.

Yeah, I was thinking original recipe Buffy- but that came out in 92, I don't know what movie Paige was in. I think we really should have seen more angst from Becca over getting together with Kevin, knowing that it ended her friendship. She called off her wedding because she knew(from her original timeline ) it didn't work, she went after Andy because she knew that he was who she ended up with. Why would she do the one thing she knew trashed her friendship? Unless the whole point of the return was that certain things are unavoidable. (like her cousin meeting her husband didn't get screwed up and Becca's brother will screw up his life no matter what)

Who's warming to the idea of a Carlos/Sam hook-up? They just crossed paths today and I could really get into it. *sigh* LiRic is finished for the fourth... fifth time? Such a waste, they work so well together.

I've never had to submit to a drug test either. I think my second interview went well, had a phone interview today, and just got an email about scheduling an interview for a third job. This is heartening because I'm beginning to dread my current job. I was hired to do specific work, which is coming to an end, so I've been transitioning to a different position while wrapping up lose ends at my original job and I am coming to realize that I don't enjoy it (new job) at all. The thing that I hate about job seeking is the subterfuge. I mean, how many doctor's appt can I have before people start wondering what's up?

The funniest part of today's show for me, was when Carlos commented on the custody battle. He warns Julian from getting involved because the situation seemed too fraught with emotion. This is the guy who, just minutes earlier, was egging Julian to order Duke's murder and set off a mob war, he sees the AJ custody battle as too hot to handle. You really have to love how ridiculous this show gets sometimes. (You know, how Jordan working for the cops to bring down criminals would be the worst thing ever, but a confessed killer getting pardoned and roaming the streets is cause for celebration)

For a split second at the start of today's show, I would have sworn Michael was back in his old apartment. Then I saw the couch and thought, "Thank God he replaced that couch after seeing the hideous Sonny and Carly video!" then I saw the mantle and realized that they must have redecorated the Q's place again. Well, I guess Michael and Sabrina are going to be a thing. She's much more tolerable out of Patrick's orbit. I can't believe the previews though. Kiki still holds a grudge against Sabrina for what she did to Ava, but she sides with Sonny over Michael? WTF?
-
I think Risk would be a natural-- especially since fighting over territory might lead to bloodshed. I'm wondering how the show can do another mob war. If Sonny's involved and is connected to violence and bloodshed in the near future-- doesn't that confirm that Michael getting custody was the right call?

"Kimmy" is funny-- but be forewarned-- that theme song is an insidious ear worm, I watched the whole season over this past weekend, and hearing that thing a dozen times really got it stuck in my head. ("ooooooo...DAMMIT")

So, it's like The 4400? But on a much smaller scale I take it. I was a fan of The 4400 until it got lost in its own mythology.

Hooray Glory! Now fingers crossed for me, I've got my follow up interview for a new job on Tuesday. And, its official, I'm headed to Paris in June. I'm gonna see Nadal on clay before his knees give out. (oh, and there is apparently other cool stuff to do and see in Paris, so I'll be doing some of that too. Versailles is top of the list.) but tickets for the French go on sale Wednesday. Vamos!

I'm so glad that nuKiKi was able to admit that taking Avery would actually make Morgan and her kidnappers and Michael was well within his rights to thrown them in jail. There would be extra special bonus points if Morgan actually gets thrown in jail for doing Sonny's dirty work and Carly turns on the greaseball. (BTW, am I the last person to notice that Ryan's bar is just Sonny's restaurant with a few Irish tchotchkes?)
-
Heh. He plays a werewolf? I guess ol' Teethan has found his niche.
-
I can't believe Sonny actually lost a court case. Has that ever happened? I mean, he confessed to the AJ murder as part of a deal to spare Carly jail time, so is this the first trial he's lost? Now the dread sets in for the inevitable reversal. But yeah, loser looks good on Sonny, I'm going to enjoy it because I know it won't last. (a few others beat me to the Evander Holyfield/ear joke-- well done and Hee!) I ff'ed Nina and Franco, I'm guessing I'm not missing anything.

I love this show, if only for reminding me about Frente's "Labour of Love" I swear I squealed like my 16 year old self hearing that song playing in the background.
-
PC law at its finest. Sonny slaps his name on Avery, so she must be his. *sigh* Why can't I have nice GH things? I floved LiRic, and Ron managed to ruin it. I like Liz, I like Billy Miller. I think both actors are chemistry factories, and they have had a few nice moments, but this story is a total snoozer. Plus, I can't get over the sheer stupidity of the police commissioner meeting daily with his super-sekrit informant. Way to be stealthy, guys.

You be you, Glory, ask for what feel you deserve.

When Sonny had a pregnant Ava under house arrest (such a good father!) He brought Delia for a visit to torture and stress out the trapped pregnant mother of his child. (oh! to feel the wonders of Sonny's love!)
-
This. All of this. Michael was put in a horrible position because of Sonny's ego and his actions. First when Sonny's psycho wife kidnapped an in labor Carly, and then his cover-up of what was a justifiable act in defense of others by Michael. Also, Ava really needs to stay in the hospital until she realizes that if she can watch Port Charles tv on a tablet, she could probably send an email to Julian from it as well. Oh, the stupid.
-
Heh-- someone on Twitter remarked that of course Morgan knew Ava better than Julian "They're Jeromes not Lannisters!" I'm dreading how they're going to spin this so that Sonny wins, yet again. The person who actually comes off the worst in all this is Carly. She really sounded like a cult member. "Don't deprive Avery of Sonny's love, you know how wonderful Sonny's love is." Seriously creepy.
