I'm still trying to figure out how big Windemere must be if Patrick and Nic can't hear the smoke alarm going off in another part of the house. Also, I'm wondering who the hell leaves ten year olds unsupervised in a house with hidden tunnels, catacombs and the occasional psychotic Cassadine sighting

What?! more shocking than any revelation on this show. Sharp cheddar on apple pie. That's good eatin'.
-
Not to mention hypocritical (I know, shocker right?) I mean, Carly still brings up the panic room*. Ric will always be the "freak who chained her to a panic room wall." But Michael isn't allowed to be upset that Sonny killed his father. *and thanks to the wonders of SORAS, that was --how ever many years Morgan is old-- ago.

NO, no LeftPhalange you can't think of it as Spencer's birthday. You should think of it as the anniversary of SWSNBN's death, and that is a day that deserves a giant cake and a room full of candy, and swag bags. We should all be celebrating the glorious day that annoying waste of airtime was removed from our show.

I agree with the posters who have mentioned Leslie's general "off-ness" She's a doctor who believes a psychic, and not only believes, but with such vehemence that she silence's Jim's objections. Later she insists that they go traipsing around a park under a bridge at night to look for clues (not even waiting until after dinner apparently) and again, Jim is swayed. I suspect they may be setting her up to have some kind of influence over Jim.

The kiddie quad is really weird, especially when you pause to consider that at one point, Spencer was thought to have been Jax's kid, and if Carly had had her baby-stealing way, he would have been raised as Joss' brother. But now, they're in a pretend "relationship" I loved Michael not caving to Carly's stunning manipulations. I hope he goes after her damn hotel next. Better yet, he teams up with Jax to gain control of it. While they're at it, I hope Jax shares how Sonny had him drugged and accused of sexual assault during his custody battle with Carly over Joss. Yeah, Sonny's 'love' is great-

Heh, KOB that was just about the only part I enjoyed. That and the fact that most of the spaceships looked like fish. But seriously, an albino wolf-boy who lost his wings?!?!? The bees? what was the point of the bees? And what happened to Sean Bean's daughter? Seriously, six bad sci-fi movies in one.

I'm guessing Rosalie and her seeeeeeecret is just one in a long, long line of dropped plot points. I'm not sure how Helena learned her secret to blackmail Rosalie to spy on ELQ for the Legion of Doom, unless, of course, Nina became a member sometime during her incarceration. (Maybe there is an online course you can take to become a registered legionnaire of doom?)

Just in case anyone was thinking about going to see "Jupiter Ascending" I'm here to tell you to save your time and money. Yesterday was a friend's birthday, I let her pick the movie. I knew it would be a hot mess, but with the Wachowski's I thought it might be somewhat interesting. Yikes, it was about 6 bad sci-fi movies put in the blender. Today is a snow day! Hooray! the federal govt closed, so pretty much all of DC follows suit.

As for the custody battle, didn't Sonny relinquish his parental rights to Morgan after Michael got shot? I seem to recall Carly getting him to sign something. I don't know if that was ever reversed, I remember some talk of Jax adopting Morgan, but my memory is pretty hazy. But every single one of Sonny's baby-mommas has attempted to keep Sonny from his kids. (Olivia lied, Alexis lied then sued for sole custody, Carly got him to relinquish his rights) That's gotta look bad in court (in PC court, who knows though)

Dear Ron, I love the idea of AJ's child keeping Sonny from his child. That is poetic justice. Also, shooting Sonny in the head would also be poetic justice. Sincerely, sacrebleu

So, I know KOB and I are not among the powerball winners, I didn't even get the powerball number (to get at least $3 back). *sigh* guess I have to get ready for work then.

Heh, I was talking with my boss about using hair dryers to melt the snow in Boston, this was before the latest round of snow. (and around the fact that crews already had no where to put any snow). My boss has plans to go there next week to visit family and she's not sure if she can get to her sister's house. The cookies were a big hit, BTW. And although that blog is a little over the top. I will totally start browning butter for cookie recipes in the future. I highly recommend it. (That crazy waffle cake might be next on my to-do list)

That would be a story! Michael, going full on Q, working with Tracy and Ned to cripple Sonny's 'coffee empire' getting a new governor elected, maybe even going after Carly's hotel. Sonny would finally have an adversary he couldn't bully. But GH viewers can't have nice things.

I actually wasn't horrified by everyone's cold attitude over Gregson's 'official' death. It's consistent with "Gosford Park" nobody who knew the victim shed too many tears, the one person who did, the widow's sister, was criticized for making such a fuss. "Anyone would think you were Italian" I believe was Charles Dance's line. Maybe it is a toff thing. (or a JF interpretation of a toff thing.)

Congrats Glory! I plan to bake this weekend. I'm making these. I haven't read 50 Shades or plan to see it. I feel bad for those actors, this could ruin them. Dakota Johnson was on a Fox sit-com with Nat Faxon that lasted about a minute. I liked it and her, and I think she probably should have stuck to comedy.

this is the only good thing about Ms Plotpoint. So, Sloane recognizes that letting known criminals out of jail would be the end of his career, but the governor will pardon a confessed murderer who also happens to be a crime boss with more bodies to his name than there would have been victims of the boat bomb. Sure Ron, What the f&ck ever.

Ugh. Were Sonny's first words really "Did I do it? Is everyone safe?" (don't hurt yourself patting yourself on the back there asshole) I can't even with this show.
-
Nope, that was Brian. Brian liked SWMNBN , but she only had eyes for Jasus. So when he was poised to shoot Jason for committing an actual crime, she shot him in the back and blamed Zander for it. She was the worst. (or what ulkis said)

Well, I'm pretty sure Jesse was killed in the line of duty, and Cooper (*sniff*) was killed by not-dead-Diego the Text Message Killer. You know, Michael dying saving everyone and Sonny not being able to make amends would have been a much better story dramatically. Sonny actually dying (I'm assuming he's not dead) while at odds would have been a much better story. Pretty much anything would have been a better story than what we're getting. I haven't quit this show since the dark says of the Sonny/Carly/Toonces/Jason reign of suck, I may have to paddle out if Sonny and Michael reunite.

Hey! Tracy said Luke hated Helena with the power of a thousand suns.. was that a shout out?
-
amen! Although I almost didn't recognize him when he had that very brief role on "Gotham" as Bruce Wayne's dad. Anna deserves a hot love interest. She's been saddled with Duke and Luke since her return.

So, when Julian met a guy that looked like Luke in witness protection, that was Luke? Pretending to be someone who said he had work done to look like Luke Spencer? What are the odds we'll ever get an explanation for how Luke tracked down Julian Jerome in witness protection? The best thing about today's show, is the potential for Carrrrrrlos and Johnny to become best buddies and partners in crime. I want to see those guys on a road trip

Eve's Marathon Diary: Who Are You People And Why Should We Care?
sacrebleu replied to Primetimer's topic in The Wire [V]
I'm in the "season 2 is great" camp. It didn't seem like it at the time, the shift between seasons one and two was jarring, but the overarching story was great, and we got Amy Ryan's Beadie out of it. -
My theory is that Luke purposely shackled himself to a broken bannister. Maybe I've been ffing too much, but the big gala for the waterfront revitalization project was thrown together by Lulu and ex-con Johnny in 48 hours??? and all of Port Charlies is showing up? to a party on a boat in January?
