  1. My company closed June 3rd, leaving me unemployed at 64, after working full time since I was 20. The first week, I filed for Unemployment and started on all those projects you never quite get to. I had lunch with a couple of old co-worker/friends. Then realized how depressed I actually was. There is a wonderful no kill animal shelter near my home, where the animals are wonderfully cared for. In addition to scooping litter boxes, laundry and dishwashing, volunteers spend time with the animals. I voluntered and have been going 3 x a week. I am also looking for a job. At 64 job hunting is beyond depressing, age discrimination is strong. But, when I am at the shelter, petting a confused cat who's owner returned them after 9 years, or walking an excited dog, or even folding laundry for them, I just feel better. With some exceptions, these people are aimless. Craig doesn't have a job, he doesn't have a goal, of course he is depressed. None of them volunteer for anything. Shep and Austen are just as bad. They could use their BRAVO fame to do some good.
  2. Looks like the reconciliation went well.. I cannot stand her or Emily and am really surprised either was asked back. I don't know how much longer this show can go on without a single likeable HW.
  3. Yeah, it was always clear he had one foot out of the marriage.
  4. Not a big Naomie or Metul fan, but they are likely a great match. Craig is truly delusional though. Yes, he is handsome, but he is lazy and appears to have a hair trigger temper. He was furious that the women were not buying into his fantasy that Naomie is miserable because her boyfriend is too busy working to attend every social event. After 3 years with Craig, I am pretty sure Metul's ambition is not breaking her heart. Also, why in the hell is Craig so incensed that Austen spent time with Madison? I don't get the level of interest from either him or Shep.I certainly don't buy that it is genuine concern. Shep should not have a dog at all, but no surprise he would have the latest "trending" dog, and would go to a breeder. No "trashy" rescue for Shep. Of course, little Craig is adorable and I found myself hoping he gives him to Eliza, who seemed to be truly smitten with him, unlike Shep. I cannot believe how much I have come to dislike Shep. No Patricia this episode, or Tyson, I was disappointed, but Elvis and little Craig were cute. Kathryn, without the TRav drama, is boring, Danni is even more boring. I still like Cameron. Chelsea, meh. I will admit it, I am looking forward to Ashley's appearance. Better than watching Craig, Shep and Austen fighting like an all male version of RHOBH.
  5. I suspect Craig may actually be gay but not so much in the closet as in denial. I have to imagine that would be tough to deal with in southern society and especially with jerks like Shep around. I think their own Senator, Lindsey Graham, may actually think people don't know he is gay, so maybe Craig thinks he can keep it secret, or just not acknowledge it. On a separate note, did Miss Patricia actually say she wouldn't mind if Whitney and Katherine married because at least she would be assured of Grandchildren?
  6. Same here. Plus, being a native born CA girl, New York is like an exotic different world for me. love the homes, especially Dorinda's Berkshire home-don't care if it isn't as pretentious as the Hamptons-love that there are actual seasons, and yes, I feel like these women, with all their catfights, really do care about each other.
  7. I don't get why she is with him at all. I don't believe it is the dry cleaning obviously. Just be alone, for heavens sake. I think too many women fear that and I really don't get it.
  8. Sad, but true. J.D. and Thomas were as sleazy as they come, but they were interesting. So were crazy Kathryn and Ashley. I think they are trying to create the conflict with these silly conflicts between the boys and Kathryn snd Dani but, so boring. I loved this show before, I really hope they can revive it. They need to realize guys like Shep have a really short shelf life. He appeared cute and a bit charming at first. Patricia us now my favorite cast member. Well, next to Tyson.
  9. I am not sure if she is worse, she did out her own sister as an alcoholic on National TV in season one, but for me it is more of I have seen enough. I have tried to like her, I have tolerated her for large blocks of time, but this season I detest her and I don't see that changing. I also detest dog dumper Dorit, find Teddi insufferable, Erika boring, Rinna mean and Denise both trashy and dumber than dirt. This show has really sunk, IMO. The fact that I now find Camille, the bitch of season one, the mist tolerable of the ones left speaks volumes.
  10. Preach. More hated include, but not limited to, Brandi, Kim, NeNe, Kim Z. Danielle, Theresa G, Kenya, Alexis, Gretchen, Vicki, two blondes on NY, can't even remember their names but both started with "A". I am sure I am missing other conteders since I quit watching both Atlanta and New Jersey years ago.. I find Camille self absorbed and pretentious, but on these shows that is like saying I find every housewife to be female. It applies to all of them except Denise. She is too trashy to be pretentious.
  11. Is it wrong that I just love Patricia? Well, there I said it.
  12. My dogs are my babies, so I am not going to criticize anyone for how they react. That aside, I find Tinsely tiresome. I don't like weak, needy women. I find the baby storyliine odd. She is rich. She has the embryo's, have a kid if that is what you want. It isn't like she has a demanding career, and having a guy around at birth does not mean you won't still end up a single mother anyway. Watching Sonya throw shade at her for basically acting slutty was rich though. Pot, kettle and all. Barbara. I have never liked her, never had any interest in her, but the spray tan mess was revealing, IMO. Nice way to treat someone elses property. Stay classy Barbie.
  13. It is interesting how many of us really liked Shep in the beginning and now share this, or some variation of it, about him. I think it is much like it would be i real life. Whitney appears to be the only one that actually works at all, the rest are just overgrown boys. Shep's overreaction to Madison is odd to me though. Apparently, she grew up going to a country club, so I don't think it is really based on family money. Nor do I buy that he is all that concerned about her treatment of Austin, since he is more likely than not to hit on any woman Austin is interested in. Makes me wonder if there is some jealousy involved. Or maybe I am just hoping for a mildly interesting story line.
  14. I was still too shocked at her standing on the trash drawer Wouldn't that break it? No landlord in town is going to rent to her.
  15. She rarely gets along with her own sisters, sleazy hubby has a terrible business reputation and there are sporadic rumors of him cheating on Kyle, her store closed, her show was cancelled and her college bound daughter was shocked to learn toilets require cleaning(nice job preparing your kid for life) She confronted one of her "best friends" and calls her a liar, earning her nickname Vile Kyle, and has finally alienated a lot of viewers, this time for good, that have tried to forgive her many other times. Yeah, your life is awesome, Kyle. My only empathy last night was reserved for Camille. Watching these horrible women fight like mid schoolers, again, was just disgusting. I can't even root for one of them because I detest every one of them. BTW, ladies, Erika is not, and never has been, a friend. She is there for the publicity to promote her ridiculous fantasy. She is not a girl's girl, never will be, doesn't want to be.
  16. This! I live in Southern California , in Orange County, and none of my close friends were impacted by the fires, although a co-worker evacuated the Elsinore fire, and it felt like the whole state was burning. I spoke to numerous people around here at the time far more concerned for ALL the victims than these self absorbed bitches were. I have watched this franchise from the start, even knew, professionally, a couple of the original OC cast. I dropped NJ and Atlanta a few years back, could never even get into Dallas and Potomac (my final try on that was Sunday-Done), and the reason is always that I just can't like a single housewife. I liked BH for the house/clothes porn, but I also liked at least some of the women. I liked Eileen, LVP, and Kyle and even Rinna. Now, I can't stand Kyle or Rinna (but I like Harry), have always hated Dorit and found Teddi and Erika boring, now I can't stand them either. The only one I don't actively dislike is Denise, yet but no house or clothes porn from her and her potty mouth is old already. So, one of my favorite franchises is now going the way of NJ and Atlanta. These women really are vile.
  17. I will wait to see who else goes, if anyone, and who might join the show. If the current crew stays, minus Lisa, I will be out. I really cannot stand Teddi Kyle or Dorit, and while i don't actually detest Denise and Erika, they bring nothing I am remotely interested in.
  18. I bet she does it. That's how you raise a daughter that doesn't know toilets require cleaning.
  19. He doesn't come across as a nice guy, he comes across as a sleaze. I wonder how much that relationship contributes to her anger. I totally get looks are not important, Jackie Kennedy's last companion was certainly no JFK in the looks department, but by all reports, she spent her final years in contentment with him. I wish Dorinda could find that or, here is a novel idea, you do not NEED a man in your life.
  20. That was so forced though, obviously for the cameras. I am still close to my 2 BFF's from High School ( I am 64 ) and if I thought one of them needed a "talking to" about their choices I would do it one on one, privately. It doesn't matter how many times you say "we aren't attacking you" It doesn't make it true.
  21. I haven't forgotten how Denise broke girl code by dating Richie Sambora immediately after he split with her BFF Heather Locklear. OTOH, she appears to have a good heart and her taking in old, discarded dogs scores big time points with me. So, still on the fence, but I don't really find her interesting. Her home has a beautiful view, but is not my style and she usually looks like she pulled whatever was on top of the laundry bin out to wear, so I get no house or clothes porn from her at all. She cannot form a sentence without the F word and seems obsessed with sex. Also get a wierd vibe from Mr. perfect Aaron. we will see how that plays out but her taste in men, well enough said.
