If it wasn't for Giselle showing up at the end I might have actually believed Han and gang died in the plane crash. Of course there's no way they're dead now. The Fast movies have become crazy over the top fun but, I find it amazing how deep the character pool and interaction goes. That being said, I kept wondering where Mia/Brian's kids were, no mention at all. Maybe I missed something in Fast 9, since I never watched it. Brie Larson really is just a walking block of wood, no real acting chops, which isn't a big deal considering the rest of the cast but, she also lacks charisma and doesn't really have chemistry. There wasn't enough Jason Statham in this movie. I really liked Jakob so I'm sad that he clearly appears dead but, this show has brought back Han and Giselle so who knows? Finally we get to Jason Mamoa, he was awesome. It was impressive to see him go from over the top campy to down right sinister. I hear this is a planned trilogy, I look forward to the Aqua Bros team up. If they were smart they'd treat this like a crossover. Fast X, Hobbs & Shaw 2 and then Fast 11. I didn't really like Shaw's sister, I'd rather have Deckard, Owen and Mama Shaw.

We don't even know if she had any black in her. Her Grandmother is the question mark, no one knows who she was but, that doesn't mean she was Sub-Saharan and most probably wasn't. Every recorded detail (coins, busts, paintings) of Cleopatra is of a Greek/Mediterranean looking woman. Even in writings from Rome, where she lived for 2 years there's no mention of her being anything else. I wouldn't even care if this wasn't labeled a documentary. ETA: the other thing that bugs me...they have her fighting/practiceing with a sword. Cleopatra was a scholar and, a politician she wasn't Xena Warrior Princess. 🙄

I didn't get the imprimpression that Gamora practically raised Groot. Groot viewed Rocket as his dad (according to Gunn IIRC). I'd say she was more the aunt than mother. Gamora died 5-7+ years ago for Rocket, he wasn't blipped. For the rest of the gang, Gamora died a couple of years ago. As far as I can tell everyone else has dealt with Gamora's death. Quill was the one that kept getting blackout drunk because he couldn't grieve and, couldn't accept that Gamora was dead. IMO, everyone else dealt with her death in a mature manner...you mourn but, you don't stop living. Quill was the one that kept saying she forgot them or didn't remember them and, that's probably more an indictment of Quill staying in denial rather than progressing through the stages of grief. Actually he kind of did that in this movie, depression, denial, anger and finally acceptance. I don't remember if bargaining was in there but, it probably was.

I read that Gunn planned to kill Gamora in Vol 2 and Marvel stopped him.

Roz! So great to see her. I always loved the Roz/Dan interaction. The newer cast is growing on me. Gurgs remains the standout although Olivia is really growing on me.

I had no idea they actually made a Sequel to The Meg. It's so ridiculously Over the Top and I love it! Nice to see Meiying is in this movie, although I don't see her mom. Once again I hope/prey nothing happens to Cliff Curtis

I knew about Colossus and Wisdom, it's hilarious that they hooked her up with Quill as a play on the whole Pete thing LOL. Is Bobby's middle name Peter? 😆

I didn't catch any references but, it's possible. I just assumed it was a lead in to say he'd be back. Although, it I didn't find it surprising because most of the write ups mentioned Chris Pratt was interested in more movies. I figure Star Lord will show up in the next Avengers movie. The only other Earth connection (I'm aware of) is Kitty Pryde but, they haven't introduced X-Men yet

Those were the same aliens that the Guardians fought at the start of Vol 2. No idea of there's a connection to Force Awakens

I was so worried about a big character death (Rocket or Drax), I was not prepared for the animal cruelty. That being said, it was a very good movie. I'm glad they didn't put Gamora/Quill together, the woman he loved died, this Gamora will never be her, it's unfair to Gamora that Quill kept acting like she just needed to remember him. I'm glad Gamora found a home/family, since Nebula had found one with the Guardians. I adore Cosmo, she's a good dog. I really like all the characters and their interactions. I'm going to miss the Guardians but, this was a great send-off

Well, I decided to buy tickets for tomorrow. I may regret it but, I'll have to bring a lot of tissues to be safe

I remember people being really excited when Waller showed up on Smallville, less so with her appearance on Arrow...although they were exited for The Suicide Squad I thought it was confirmed that Aquaman/Mamoa was gone but Mamoa would be tapped to play another character (most likely Lobo). Or was that conjecture?

I remember a crossover 20+ years ago where the readers voted who would win. As I recall Logan beat Lobo, Robin beat Jubilee but they ended up going on a date or something. I can't remember the rest but, I doubt we'll see that in the movies. I think Captain America and Batman teamed rather than Duke it out.

I had to keep pausing the episode because I was so annoyed that she kept getting away with it. I still haven't finished but, I assume she killed her father as well as the fiancé and husband. I'm also still uncertain if her father ever molested her or if that was a lie too (like the step father and foster father)

Ah, I was wondering what forensics they were investigating. I heard that they dropped charges against Alec, I always thought it was wrong to put that on the actor.

This was crazy from start to finish.

I really enjoyed this episode, loved the Grogu/Dearing team up. Loved the Bo Katan/Moff Gideon scene. Was happily surprised that Axe Woves not only went all ramming speed but, had a survival plan. The scene with Grogu funneling the fire around Bo/Djarin brought back serious Kanan memories...still not over it. I know the base scene was all setup for the aborted Rangers or the New Republic bbut hey could make it work. Heck, give me Zeb and Callis leading the Rangers and I'm sold. BTW, that was Feloni in the background of the "bar" scene, right? The last 2 episodes were great, IMO. I've also enjoyed the Season for the most part. However, I think S2 and 2.5 😄 were better. Hopefully, next season goes back to basics with Grogu and Djarin on side quests
