  1. I must be doing it wrong, because these are some of my favorite rolls... Being a mom is a different level :)
  2. I am getting Project Yank the Uterus back on track in our new home. Went yesterday for an ultrasound to see how much the fibroids have grown since last summer. Doctor has mentioned wanting me to take a series of shots to try and shrink the "pregnancy", to make surgery and recovery easier for me. Looks like we're looking at maybe late September, which will leave me available to help with my grands when their baby sister arrives in a couple months.
  3. We all see it. We all see it...
  4. Oh, sorry. Gabby Barrett and her husband, Punchable Aunt Cade Foehner (PAC) are friends of Jeremy & Jinger. There’s pictures posted of them on that thread every so often. Gabby placed third on American Idol and is a rising country star. Cade was also on Idol, didn’t do as well, career is not hot.
  5. I don’t know if I can add a whole lot more…usually this would be CMA Fest in Nashville. It’s been canceled the last two years because of the pandemic, but it’s normally a huge deal with a lot of events & tourists. The CMT Awards are scheduled for the middle of this week. Gabby was slated to perform with Lady A and another person. She released a statement yesterday that she was dropping out due to personal circumstances, hoped to see her fans this summer. Gabby won an award at the ACMs several weeks ago, and PAC made a post pointing out she was “Mrs. Foehner”. So there has been speculation he isn’t handling being in her shadow very well.
  6. I saw today Gabby dropped out of performing at the CMT Awards tomorrow night due to “personal circumstances”. I hope the circumstance isn’t Punchable Aunt Cade pitching a fit because he’s the spouse of a star.
  7. Posted by floridamom on JD/Abbie: I believe Anna went to the car lot early on because she didn't know what to do with herself alone at home, much like Jill who clung to Derick at Walmart corporate. No life skills for these undereducated, under experienced brides. I think that may be part of it, but given what we know now I also suspect Anna was there to make sure ol' Joshie stayed off the computer.
  8. The "I'm so surprised!" first picture cracks me up, given that they're wearing matching ensembles and she has a fresh mani.
  9. We aren't having shortages in our new area, but people have been seen filling up multiple containers anyway. I understand from some friends in Nashville that they were hit...another reason to be glad we relocated. I was low-ish this morning so I went ahead and filled up. I'll be good for a couple weeks now.
  10. When my husband put in our change of address before our move, it gave us the informed delivery. I didn't realize it was an option before. So when you have a new address and put in your change of address @beckie they should give you this option.
  11. I am jumping ahead on good news Sunday. We moved into our house today! The movers ran late, so I was upset that I felt like hours were wasted. But we’re here, we had a nice dinner with my parents, our dog got to go on a walk around the new neighborhood, our bedroom is liveable, and I’m in my recliner with gelato. The rest of the pieces will fall into place.
  12. Posted by @lascuba on Jessa's thread: Didn't she have a framed BJ on the wall shortly after they married? Didn't last long once the boards noticed and mocked, iirc. I'm not sure if that or Jim Bob going on about wanting a big D when he saw the giant V at the Vuolo wedding is my favorite unintentional filth. I know a young couple around my son's age...wife is very sheltered, parents are Quiverfull, she was homeschooled. When she got engaged, she got huge light-up letters of their initials and the ampersand: T & A. And she used them for ALL events...engagement party? T & A! Bridal shower T & A! You get the point. My inner 12 year old boy was highly amused, but the groom went to public school, and was on the football team with my son. He HAD to know the alternate meaning. But I guess he didn't want to admit to her that he possessed such unholy knowledge...
  13. Priscilla does look good, but this picture reminds me of Steel Magnolias “they all look like they’ve been carved from cream cheese”.
  14. I wanted to say hi to everyone, and show something pretty. This is a snippet of my mom’s azalea. Site said original pic was too large. So just picture the whole shrub looking like this. LOL. She blooms her little heart out every spring.
  15. Happy news Sunday: after rain all day yesterday, it was sunny today. Mr Turquoise and I cleaned the main floor of our new house, mentally placed our furniture (movers come next weekend) and unpacked and put away some kitchen stuff.
  16. My oldest pet was my Lady, a sheltie/golden retriever mix I rescued when she was 2 1/2 and my son was almost 12. I lost her in 2019 at the age of 17 after two strokes.
  17. I'm sorry things are so crazy there. That's one of the reasons we left Nashville, besides moving in the same vicinity as my family. Prices are absolutely ridiculous there, it's too crowded, no public transport... Our house is in a rural Midwest area next to a college town. So not completely rural, but definitely not city-like either. Prices are much more reasonable here, but even with that there's a shortage of houses. We happened to be at the right place at the right time for this one. We are enjoying a slower pace, and being away from crazy Nashville drivers. LOL
  18. @sixlets I’m so sorry for your loss @QuinnInND your husband and my son share a bday. 😊 Good news a day late: we closed on our house today.
  19. Sweet baby Moses. she "decorated" the top of the water heater...which is in her closet?
