I trimmed our hydrangea this winter, and I am so pleased with the difference it made with the blooms. It is having such a beautiful year. Thought you might enjoy as well.

Wish we had a "sending a hug" button @Nysha. Hope you are able to get the answers you need.

I took off Friday...felt like I needed a few days off that didn't involve the removal of body parts. LOL We did yardwork Friday and Saturday. I discovered that we have poison ivy in our yard! To add to the fun, I managed to get it under both of the girls. So much fun! Mr Turquoise isn't allergic, so we're going to have to pinpoint where I met the vile weed at, and that corner of the yard will be his responsibility going forward.

Sorry for your loss, @CalicoKitty

I took it she was one of the performers at the fair, and that's her stage outfit. Aunt Cade has on the same outfit as the picture with the guitar. And yes, yuck to the keep-a-grip-on-mah-property pose

My DIL was induced 7 years ago, and they had her come in the night before. They did an insert that evening to try and get her dilating and laboring on her own. I'm assuming it's less costly than a pitocin drip, so viewed as worth it even if it's an extra night in the hospital. It did work in her case, although labor was slow. But I feel you, @Cinnabon. I had a hysterectomy in March, and I was on the way home about 3-ish hours after I woke up in recovery.

The Curse Of Oak Island - General Discussion

Mr Turquoise is into this show...I have been known to make myself a nice margarita and sip every time they get excited about wood, shafts, etc. It does liven the show up. -
Happy belated birthday @Ijustwantsomechips! It sounds like you had a lovely day.

I am seeing my grandbabies for the first time since late February…I had a 15 lb lifting restriction for 6 weeks. Too hard to explain to the almost 2 year old that I couldn’t pick her up. It’s year end at work and I have worked a lot of hours. I needed this stress relief.

As I understood the Jillese, Kellers are Nurthan. She is unhappy they live SO FAR AWAY in Florida, but is throwing in the pious "God's will" thing to show she is bravely suffering as a good Christian mother. The Not Nurie Now Known as Kaylee is NOT going to do the same to her (at least for now)! And yes, yes, yes to the bold. I already suspected, but this post confirms for me that the advice of the surgeon "not to do surgery now" was really not to do surgery ever. But disclosing that is not going to bring her the attention she wants.

I started going gray at age 19, a fact I was not happy with. So I colored for years, but gave it up about 7 years ago. Between PCOS and no thyroid (cancer), hair loss can be an issue at times. I didn't want to make it any worse with dye. My hair is coming in a pretty silver, and I'm about half and half now with my original brown. I wish it would just go full Emmylou Harris on me. One thing I am enjoying is the silver is a bit coarser with a wave. I always had defiantly straight baby fine hair that turned to limp spaghetti in damp weather. It has been fascinating to have more natural body.

The Lonely Js Club: James, Jackson & Johannah

This picture would look more authentic if she was working in a field of oatmeal colored weeds 🤣 -
I went back to work last Wednesday-our month-end close meeting was this morning, and I had deadlines that weren't going to be met if I took the recommended time off. Good news is it's a seated job and I work remotely. I'm not ready for real pants yet, LOL. I'm feeling pretty good except for waiting for some stitches to dissolve and a bit of an energy lag, but that is improving steadily. My chihuahua and I have been getting out every day to walk except last Friday (it snowed). Now it's in the upper 60s/low 70s. I'm enjoying seeing all the flowers and trees come to life, and he is enjoying all the new smells.
