Except they aren't, because Richard is not Maggie's legal father, so they have no legal relation and also no biological relation. Yes, Mere asks if she wants to call/them to call and she says no, "she didn't come to my wedding, she doesn't get to come to my tumor." I assume that Tyne Daly was not avail...

He said "I'm glad he died." Then jumped to finish "doing what he loved" or some such. So, no more recaps? Sadface.

I keep wondering that too, I was pretty sure they finalized the thing. Or certainly signed the papers anyway.

How Will A Move To CMT Alter Season 5 Of Nashville?
WasntMe replied to Primetimer's topic in Nashville [V]
WHERE IS GLENN???? He would not be missing Juliette's recovery. They need to explain. He wasn't on the plane, right?? They'd have to talk about that. I NEED TO KNOW. ETA: Um, apparently he was there and I just didn't see him?? Why is not more prominent? -
I see what you did there. :) At least Ems can't be framed for Ben's murder, since she's locked up. OR CAN SHE?????? sigh.

What "projects" did Kylie have that made her the money to buy the house (Kris mentioned)? I feel like I remember a fashion line, was it something else too? I also thought Kris wanted her to buy the house so they could do the reno/decorating together and she would have a reason to spend time with Kyle/feel needed by Kylie.

I'm calling it for Gunnar. Maybe he'll do it b/c he likes and respects Deacon, or sees it as a way to make Scarlett happy, whatever. But there it is, my prediction. I've said before that I wish they would at least address the Maddie situation and her likelihood at being a match. Because there is no way that doesn't get at least brought up in reality. Whether they would allow it or not, she would at least want to do it.

This may not belong in this thread since it's not about this ep, so mods, I apologize if so. But why has nobody even mentioned Maddie as a potential liver donor for Deacon? I don't get it. I know she's a minor, but wouldn't it at least be brought up so that Deacon can refuse to allow it and Maddie can get all, "but I can save you" etc?

And I was getting more of a Joey Tribbiani vibe from him-- all, "sure, why not, it's food."

Reminded me of Alias in a lot of ways... a chance for a complete revamp of the series (mini-finale when SD-6 gets raided, Syd goes to CIA) and the whole Fulcrum talk reminded of Rimaldi stuff, in a weird way. Mr. Kaplan was on that detail, according to Red, IIRC.

Why did they do it? Just b/c it didn't include everyone? Boo. I didn't care for the Jess being an idiot, what to do with the meth stuff, but I loved everything about Nick in this episode. Everything. And also, the Mark Paul Gosselaar bit was perfect. Laughed out loud repeatedly, and I cannot complain about anything that does that.

I have a friend who was married there. Beautiful. I felt really sad for Jinger when she said how much she was cherishing the day with Jessa, knowing at the end of the day she'd be engaged and everything would be different between them from then on. :( I really liked the scavenger hunt idea, I thought it was sweet. Of course, my husband thought it was stupid and kept making fun of it the whole time. Which explains why when he proposed to me there was none of that romantic foolishness...

Happens all the time, seems normal to me too. Perhaps old fashioned and stereotypical, but common.
-
HA! Me too. Please, let this end soon. I did. Sloppy. Seriously, I hope that this IS the final season, and that they know it beforehand. Because I cannot take much more, but I also have no ability whatsoever to stop watching. And if it gets canceled with no time to wrap up the story I will never have closure and feel this way for infinity times infinity.

You should watch like I do, on mute with the closed captions on (I watch in bed after my husband is asleep). Not to defend MEchelle at ALL, but this looked to me like right before they walked down the aisle, Mother of the Bride would likely already be seated. She'd want Jill, anyway, not dumb old J'Chelle. I did not watch this show much until recently, so I enjoyed seeing the old clips of Jill, but I would liked more on Derrick, and less of JB's sex talk.

They'll do two thirty minute episodes per week, one on each topic... and the other kids will fade further and further into the background

I agree, he could be a lot less in touch with the world, it would make her role a lot more useful. The "how would a normal person have responded to that?" notwithstanding, he doesn't seem to be unable to work with the muggles. When they showed the smoke I said to Mr. WasntMe, "AND he comes walking out unharmed." And then he did. Of course. But that's okay, I like the show anyway. My favorite part of many procedurals I've watched are the genius or tech characters (Garcia on Criminal Minds, etc).

YUP. Yup. Assuming this means perhaps Sadie might be finding a home at Highway 65... Also, how is Teddy hanging out in a bar by himself pathetically non-flirting? He's the mayor, still, right? Wouldn't he be recognized? Weird.

I am!!! And please someone tell me WHY we haven't gotten to hear her sing yet... can't wait. This. I'm kinda thinking he'll do something aggro if not to Rayna then to Maddie, maybe (for trying to keep him and Rayna apart)? And then Deacon will need to rescue both of them. Or something. Luke is gross.

IIRC, Charlie called Quinn "Robin" in an I'm Batman, you're Robin thing. I have really enjoyed watching the two of them this season, the looks between them, and the way Fitz looks at her now-- instead of her always being in his way or on his nerves before this season.

The Lonely Js Club: James, Jackson & Johannah
WasntMe replied to SpaghettiTuesdays's topic in Counting On
It has been in the ears of Barbra fans everywhere-- it's from "Funny Girl." To be on topic, I agree that Jana does not look happy very often. But like others have said, maybe it's just she's not interested in the guys that she's met or in marriage in general. I hope it is because SHE hasn't found someone she likes, not because JB hasn't found someone HE likes... -

Dunno about Arkansas, but in Tennessee there is one non-ABA accredited law school, and if you graduate you CAN sit for the Tennessee bar. At one point I looked into a friend who had done so moving to another state (Colorado) and he could get a CO license if he 1) practiced for 5 years in Tennessee and 2) passed the CO Bar Exam. This is different from someone who graduates from an accredited law school who can get a CO license without taking the Bar Exam after 5 years' practice. -
Her husband was going to ruin the artist-- and since she loved the artist, she wanted to protect him so she stayed with the husband. The son said that his father believed he had won her back-- so I guess he didn't believe she had always loved the artist, but that she had gotten over it when she decided to stay.
