Nope, 2 new dogs again. I believe these are dogs #4 and #5 that she has bought. And poor Sophia still hasn't gotten her fish that she wanted instead. And yes, it was one of the first scenes. When they were heading to the airport to pick up Simon. Farrah was too busy primping in the bathroom to help Sophia get the dogs ready. She yelled at her and swore a couple times. And Sophia whispered to the dog that she hoped this wasn't going to get her in trouble. :(

And Farrah's use of words is still baffling to me all these years later. The sentences she puts together don't even make sense! I've never heard someone talk like she does. It's so bizarre. And every time she gets mad at someone, she says they're in denial. What? Maci, Simon, Debra, Sophia, Michael, Daniel.... If someone pisses her off, they're in denial. About what? Just in general they're in denial. That's not the right word, Farrah! It's like as long as she makes a sentence, it doesn't matter which words she uses in it. If she's mad, she uses random words like denial and negativity, no matter what she's trying to say. If she's happy, it's positivity, commitment, etc. never in the right context.

The way Sophia acted with Simon was classic behavior for a child that doesn't get enough attention. I'm guessing Farrah is too busy with all her own stuff to actually connect with and parent Sophia. And it's obvious Soph is not out in normal social situations much. Just Farrah, her parents, and the random neighbor. All she knows to do is to mimic her mother, which is a recipe for disaster. All Farrah does anymore is put on a fake smile, talk without ever closing her lips, and laugh a fake laugh. With occasional breaks for having temper tantrums with lots of swearing. After just rewatching the old seasons recently, it's like she is a caricature of herself. She used to be a bitch, but was at least real. I don't even think she knows how to be herself anymore. And the way she acts with Sophia is like someone who has never been around kids. No connection whatsoever. She talks to her like she's babysitting her for the first time and doesn't even know her. Just pathetic and sad.

All I can think about is when Josh posted to either Derick or Ben, "I'll be watching you" with the little eye icon on Facebook. And all the times he acted like he was their big brother protector, sizing up Derick and Ben during the courtships, and commenting to the cameras about it. All of which would be completely normal big brother teasing, IF YOU HADN'T MOLESTED THEM YOURSELF. OMG. And on the Erica Hill episode (Digging with the Duggars), Josh teases Ben about changing the nighttime diapers or something stupid, and Ben looks like he is ready to wring Josh's neck. And then looked pissed for the remainder of the episode. I even noticed it before all this news broke and wondered what Ben was pissed at Josh about. His face is also red and his eyes look bloodshot. I know he suffers from allergies, but I can't help but wonder if his eyes were red from crying after finding out that Josh had molested Jessa. (Assuming that they knew this story was about to break, which I'm sure they did based on the weirdness of this episode/interview).

WOW. Rewatching the tense Erica Hill interview episode now. Wow, watch after she asks them about their modesty standards. Michelle talks about her mowing the lawn in the bikini thing, and how she learned that she was at fault by tempting " the poor husband" across the street (which is a WTF statement because she was FOURTEEN and he was a grown man). Anyway she then goes into saying "You can't control what someone else thinks, but we can control what we do. So if we stir up desires in someone else, that can't be righteously fulfilled, then we're responsible for that." Which is a big WTF anyway, but after she says that, Jim Bob looks over to Jana, Jinger, and Jessa on the couches, the camera follows his eyes and all 3 girls look down to the floor. As if they feel ashamed. Then as the next question begins, Jessa has a pissed off look on her face.

So basically I'm the only one that can't stand Tasha then?

I do think that MTV did it in a really slimy way, and that is a big part of what she is upset about. She even said that it hurt her feelings how it was handled. Obviously they wanted the footage for good ratings, but the way they sprung it on all of the girls at the last minute after they'd already been filming, AND did it on camera, was definitely slimy of them. I also believe that Maci and Taylor got pregnant on purpose, and MTV asked her to give that not-able-to-get-pregnant line. In interviews and stuff she has never talked like it wasn't planned. She doesn't mention the possible infertility at all. Taylor and she were both excited to have a baby, I read some quotes from him that makes me believe they both planned it, not just her. But then on the show she mumbles something about the doctors making her think she couldn't have a baby. In past seasons she has never mentioned such a thing. When she was wanting to have a baby with Kyle and he didn't want one, she never even hinted that it might be a problem to get pregnant. I can totally see MTV wanting to have her throw that line in there, and she probably stupidly agreed.

I'm currently watching the old seasons and she didn't have *many* friends, but she did have a couple close ones. I haven't seen them in ages though. I have a feeling she drove them away because she's so.... bitchy/rude/self-absorbed/chip on her shoulder. It's really too bad because they seemed like nice girls. And Farrah seemed happy and relaxed around them, unlike how she is around people now. And the sad thing is, she acts so fake and different now, that I doubt she'll ever make a real friend again. Back in the early episodes, she was bitchy and a know-it-all, but at least she was being real and being herself. She acted like a regular teenager when she was with these girls. But now she's just putting on an act, so she'll only ever make superficial friends. She's turned into a caricature of herself.

YES. I'm currently binge-watching all of the previous seasons that I dvr'd when they had the marathon a few weeks back. I mean I watched them all the first time around, but since it's been so long I wanted to see them again (plus it's fun to watch them when you already know how they all turned out). Anyway, I literally felt like I needed a shower after watching the episodes with that guy. It's like Amber doesn't have any radar for red flags whatsoever. Of course back then she was also high as a kite, so that didn't help I guess. And speaking of watching all the old episodes - wow, it's crazy to see the changes in all of these people. And honestly, with a few of them, it's downright sad. I mean I *want* to just watch this show as mindless entertainment, but watching these episodes one after another and seeing a clear path of how some of them spiral completely out of control can kind of be depressing. I see both sides w/ Maci. On one hand, I just rolled my eyes when she said she was done. Hardly anyone would turn down that huge amount of money, especially when all you have to do to get it is be filmed. Of COURSE she's not going to really quit. But I do see what she's saying, about Bentley being 6 years old and in school now - because I'm sure some of his teachers, other parents, and eventually the other kids will have something to say about Maci for letting him be on a show where one scene is showing him playing legos and the next scene is a strip club with half-naked girls on poles while a half-dressed Farrah does one of her appearances standing next to her blow-up doll. Is it me or does Ryan look like he's on something? Pills? All the new episodes he has that look about him. And it might explain the escalating tension between him and his parents.

My favorite part of this episode was Amber wearing an M.I.T. hoodie.

But they did not leave for their honeymoon right away. They didn't leave for Europe until about 1.5 weeks after the wedding. Jessa mentioned that they had been staying in a local hotel between the wedding and leaving for Europe. Then if they were in Europe for 10 days or whatever....plenty of time for the family to get the wedding photos back and ready.

eta: Ok I just finished reading all the comments and obviously I wasn't the only one who noticed this LOL - the minister's pronunciation of "Benjamin" was so bizarre. He kept saying "Benjermin" with emphasis on the r. Please tell me his name isn't actually Benjermin, is it? -Jill has looked like a hot mess since her own wedding. I get that she's pregnant, but when you're in your sister's wedding, have someone do your hair so it's not a frizzy flyaway poofball, and throw on some makeup. And at least for the pictures, stand up, put your feet together, and smile. - what is the idea behind same-sex family members doing side hugs? serious question. It seems so awkward to me. Occasionally they do frontal hugs, so I don't get what determines when they do sidehugs and when they do regular hugs? - Ben is seriously the most inarticulate, rambling, space cadet I've ever seen. He can't even think of a basic answer to a basic question. All this time I've been hoping it's nerves in front of the camera, but it's been a year now. Is this how he is all the time? He ends up sounding so incredibly dorky and really dumb. How can Jessa stand it? I mean he's cute and has a good body, so I'm not surprised she wanted him for a boyfriend at first, but how does she not get embarrassed every time he opens his mouth? She really wants to listen to that for the rest of her life? *I* get second-hand embarrassment for him every time he's on the screen. And how on earth will he become a pastor when he can't speak? - I know everyone snarked on Jill's bridesmaid dresses, but hers were way better than these. These were awful, I'm so surprised they are what Jessa picked. And they did no one's bodies any favors.

They did separate segments. First Amber/Cate/Maci, then Farrah by herself, then Amber/Cate/Maci again. When the girls were first out there and Farrah was backstage listening, the host asked Catelynn about the Couples Therapy finale and the argument-then-makeup on it, between her and Farrah. So Cate answered the question (was a tad rude but nothing major...she said Farrah started it and they ended it) and then they showed Farrah backstage saying that she's glad to see Catelynn is still in denial and still white trash. Which had absolutely nothing to do with what the host OR Catelynn were talking about, but whatever...that's Farrah. Nothing she says fits in with what the conversation is about. It's so bizarre. Anyway, yes there was tension when all 4 were backstage...the 3 girls were going in while Farrah was coming out and she just looked away as they walked by. It was super awkward.

SHUT.UP. That is fantastic. I totally agree. Tyler has his faults, but I am an ultrasound tech and there are very, very, very few people who aren't hoping for the gender to go one way or the other. There's nothing wrong with hoping for a girl or hoping for a boy. And if a child grows up being "damaged" by the fact that their parent was hoping for a child of the opposite gender during pregnancy, then they're pretty darn fragile. It's not like he started swearing and drove off speeding in a big huff. It wasn't a secret that he wanted a boy, and it wasn't a secret that Cate wanted a girl. So yes he was disappointed, but he had a smirk on his face and was laughing about it afterwards. It's obvious he is excited about their baby and the little girl will be just fine when she watches the episode someday. It was no big deal. My mother had 2 girls, then 4 boys, then a girl. We all joke around with the 4th boy that she wanted to leave him at the hospital when he was another boy after 3 in a row. He thinks it's hilarious. People have to lighten up and be real. I'd rather listen to Tyler's honestly about wishing for a boy rather than watch them spout the party line of "We don't have a preference, we're so blessed" blah blah blah.

aurora296 - you must have missed the newest catch-up shows. The Being Maci, Being Amber, etc. specials that you saw were aired a while back. But just recently they aired new catch up specials where the girls are watching old footage from over the years and stuff. In Farrah's Debra was wearing a feather in her hair, yes. And then there was one extra one, a final catch-up special with Maci/Amber/Catelynn and they find out that Farrah will be coming back after all. I saw all except the very last one where they find out Farrah is coming back and I am SO mad because I can't see anywhere that it's going to air again and I really wanted to see it (pathetic, I know)!!

Ok Say what you want but I don't think Janelle and Christine were acting. I believe that was real and was filmed back in December. Christine is not smart enough to fake a reaction like that. The link of "proof" that this was filmed in February doesn't prove any such thing. Plus if you compare their hair in the divorce ep vs. the tell-all ep, no way were they both filmed in February. Meri's hair is much longer. I am not saying they don't fudge things for timelines like all shows, but that was a very real moment with Janelle and Christine. The producer trying to get Janelle to say more, too...no one would need to put that in if it was a fake reenactment.

Maybe it actually happened when Jill and Derick were still on their honeymoon? Yeah, they weren't supposed to front-hug. Courtship allows only side-hugs, and then with engagement you get to hold hands. No frontal hugs or kissing until marriage. At least that's what both Dill and Benessa were supposedly following. Maybe Benessa changed things at some point and decided they would frontal hug before marriage, but that "talk" wasn't shown on the show at all. My jaw literally dropped when they did that LOL.

I so wish the cameras had been on Jinger's face when they frontal hugged! I doubt she went and told her parents, since she's so close to Jessa, but I bet once her parents saw that footage she got in trouble for not telling on Jessa! Scandalous. Seriously though, I'm so glad they did that. You can tell they were so happy and it was just spontaneous. It's completely ridiculous to see people getting engaged, saying I Love You, and talking about having babies.....accompanied by side-hugs. Side hugs are so bizarre. I don't think that poster was saying Jim Bob was racist.....they were just pointing out how he said "You have Michelle and I's blessing" when it's supposed to be "You have Michelle's and my blessing".
