  1. Sutton wanted one of those strippers to get those ugly white pants dirty. Usually I enjoy her weirdness. It's a change of pace from watching women who are self-assured and cocky(many of them seemingly over-confident for reasons only known to them). That said, her general demeanor is awkward and off-putting. Combined with her over the top displays of prudishness, I'm not surprised she's not receiving offers for a second date. Didn't she meet her ex when they were kids? Not surprising. A 50 year old woman decked out in bedazzled cat sweaters while squealing like a teenage girl when uncomfortable is probably an acquired taste. Whoever Sutton's prince is, he'll be a special kinda guy.
  2. Garcelle came through in her nurse's scrubs...but forgot to wear the bottoms. She's too beautiful for her looks to always be a fail. She needs a new glam squad. How they got a model out here looking so bad?
  3. Sounds like a good way to proceed in order to maintain some dignity and good mental health. That's what I'd do in a similar situation. Unfortunately, with the Housewives franchise, these women are fighting to maintain position. If the producers (and fans) decide you're not delivering, you'll be tossed out. If they all became eloquent and began shutting down this type of questioning, 75 percent of the show's subject matter would be flushed away....
  4. Well damn if this doesn't sound more interesting than the show itself, Betty.
  5. What does Gizelle's young'un do besides reality TV? If it's good for her, it's great for me. I just don't want to see her crying on my television again if things don't work out. That shit with Sherman was tragic. I believe her reunion with Jamal was just a storyline. I ain't averse to her finding real love. I'm just not sure it should be on TV. As usual, I loved seeing her lovely daughters. Ashley and Michael are not divorcing. They've simply agreed to live separate lives so that when we see/read about him stalking a Washington Wizards point guard, or having his pockets run by a pro, or drunkenly grabbing some balls, Ashley can save face. Hell, the man is probably still licking his wounds regarding the Robyn/Juan nuptials. Mr. Darby and I BOTH swore that wedding would never happen. The Dixons made liars out of us, and I'm just beside myself. I'm still recovering. I know in my heart Michael's soul got snatched.
  6. Thanks for the info. I never liked Phaedra on RHOA (from the moment she claimed to not know her own due date, I knew she was full of shit) but I will admit to enjoying her short stint on RHUGT. Despite that, I've always seen her as a sneaky, vile hustler. I think I'll catch highlights on Youtube. I never watched MTM because the idea of watching professionals wrassling on my TV is not appealing. I understand why the chicks on the come-up do it (they're trying to catch a man or finance their wig shop, home goods biz, or clothing store). But people who attended medical school? No ma'am.
  7. Did everyone get a new glam team this year? Or is my HD just tripping? Everyone at that last meeting -- Gizelle, Charrisse, Robyn, and Ashley -- all were casket fresh. Their makeup looked chalky. I was actually distracted and thought I was seeing things. Then they showed old clips from years previous, and I realized I was not seeing things. Phaedra Parks is doing their makeup. Speaking of ... and a bit off-topic since I keep seeing these commercials. Who here watches Married to Medicine? Is this show worth watching? I almost feel like Phaedra started dating a doctor JUST to get back on TV. Y'all know Kandi is blocking her ass from the ATL.
  8. This is the second season where we can see the Potomac producers earning their coins. They're not even pretending anymore, and I love it!
  9. I agree with Auntie Kern and them. Are Juan and Robyn LEGALLY married? Anyone can have a ceremony performed. The marriage isn't considered legal unless the paperwork if filed. Correct me if I'm wrong. I know we got a few attorneys, paralegals, and law clerks in these Primetimer streets.
  10. This is the most awkward shit I've ever seen. They're really going to spend the first 15 minutes of this damn show with the Dixons "explaining" and pushing their own narrative. Dear Robyn, I don't care what you believe, baby. You ain't gonna get me to co-sign your desperation, blindness, and foolishness. Juan ain't stretching me out or taking me to get my nails done. Signed, eXiled
  11. I should have known that the good times could not last with this cast. Between Dorinda, Brandi, and Jill, my head was spinning during this episode. When Vicki is the least offensive chick in a particular episode, y'all have a problem.
  12. Dorinda is not as good of a cook as she thinks she is. Eva got bitten by Brandi's loose lips. It's easier to forgive Brandi's slips when she's "slipping" on someone else. Still trying to figure out the "mangina" comment. Is Vicki a hypochondriac? Or just a sickly person?
  13. I'm sooo late to watching this, but the RHUGT episodes remind me of why I loved the shows initially (before they became set pieces for middle-aged women to argue in restaurants). I love to see them having a good time! I never warmed to Phaedra on RHOA, but I love her here. She's always ready with a quip, whether in person or in her confessionals. I'm enjoying the sexy wig and her confidence. And while I'd stopped watching before Eva's seasons, I know her from ANTM, way back in the day. She's still as gorgeous and warm as I remember her. Jill Zarin remains exhausting. Seriously, the moment she SURPRISED them, she sucked all the air out of the mani-pedi party. She'll always be a dark cloud, although, sometimes, an entertaining one. Vicky and Tamra remind me of why I never liked RHOC. They're so uptight and judgemental. Bad energy. Who does Vicky think she is? So self important. Tamra's has always given off a bad vibe to me. There is a darkness in her. Dorinda -- whose tirades caused me to flee from my beloved RHONY -- is still a bad drunk. Taylor is still a void, though I enjoyed her talk with Eva. No one can tell me that Brandi doesn't come on these shows scamming for sex. In addition to needing the check, of course. She's been trying to see Phaedra and Eva naked since she got there. Sex addict energy. Ask poor Caroline Manzo.
  14. I enjoyed the nail salon reenactment so much that I just did a re-watch for a quick giggle before bed. My second favorite part was Mrs. Huger's piece. If we were allowed signatures on this board, mine would be: "But whoo girl, he signed a WHOLE-ASS receipt!" - Signed, Auntie Kern
  15. If Jennifer's with him, he's a scammer. I'll bet he's already started "investing" her money for her. Think she'll profile him on My True Scam Story when things go left? This show is as dry as some of their wigs. I'm not surprised no one's posting.
  16. Lawd! Is Tasha K known for spilling accurate tea? If true, I hope this chick doesn't see this as a flex. I'd be deeply ashamed for anyone to know I was screwing a married man in general -- especially a married man who, up until a few years ago, was living off his mother-in-law's grace and patience. Can he even afford to buy his mistress a Shein haul with his internet cooking classes? Or did Candiace pay for the abortion?
  17. #RHUGT 3 Preview: Gizelle puts Leah McSweeney on blast in front of the whole group 😭 In all the years I've been watching Potomac, I've never seen Gizelle get as buck as she does here. Where was this energy for Candiace? For Wendy? Hell, Gizelle should have brought THIS personality to every skirmish she's had with Auntie Kern! I guess there's just something special about Leah .... I won't even mention the fact that Giz seems to be trying to pin some type of racist motivation on Leah. [Grumbles in eXiled] Gizelle got me out here feeling sorry for one of the people who helped ruin my beloved RHONY. That's another reason why I'll never see it for this lame heffa. I'm shallow as fuck and like pretty people, but I just can't bring myself to like this basic chick. [/Grumbles in eXiled]
  18. The producers really showed their hand this season. Seems there is always more drama going on behind the scenes than makes it on the show itself. Reminds me of a show I loved called UnREAL. It's about a producer of a Bachelor-style reality show who goes off the rails in a big way. Very entertaining. And, as it turns out, very much how y'all have explained the behind-the-scenes shenanigans of these shows.
  19. This is the part that seems strange. Why would Gizelle and Ashley need to be paid? Is there a different pay scale for the reunions vs what they receive for the season? Someone drop some knowledge on your sister this morning!
  20. Y'all are so on this. It never occurred to me that Gizelle assumed men only wanted to be around her for sexual reasons. I thought she was just being mean (and struggling for a storyline). I guess it could be both. While I can't really know how these women think, I'll always recall Ray's attempt to counsel Gizelle. Looks fade, as does youth, and Gizelle knows better than most people that men don't always cheat on you with someone considered more attractive than you are. Luckily she appears to have an entrepreneurial spirit, so she can put energy into building up herself and her bank account. She's smart to pursue that. I don't ever want to see her ugly-crying on my TV again because some man hurt her feelings. Not a woman past 50. No ma'am. Honestly, all I see is that women who look like them may get more romantic opportunities. More choices, perhaps. That doesn't mean they make the best choices. That's why I don't understand people who accuse their detractors of jealousy. I don't know anyone who would want to be in Mia, Ashley, or Gizelle's position -- I don't care what she looks like. None of them are aspirational to me.
  21. - Anyone who films with Mia next year is a fool. She will lie about anything. ANYTHING. If she's offered a flute next year to return, the best way to put her in the deep freeze is to not invite her to get-togethers and functions. The one thing she may have been truthful about is Gordon's erectile dysfunction as it relates to his illness. Meanwhile, I wonder if Gordon wanted the world to know about that. She's vile. - I don't know why Bravo asked for Charrisse to return. She was not needed. Despite her reputation and friendships in real Potomac society, her vibe does not translate well to television, IMO. She's not charismatic nor does she have a storyline that people who are not her friends would be invested in. I will say that her push-up bra was working under that dress. Cha-Cha needs to wear that bra EVERY DAY. Good lift gives good life, girls! - I never thought it would happen, but I'm happy for Robyn if she's happy to be remarried to Juan. She's had more than twenty-five years to deal with his seemingly sulky, sullen, simple ass. There's a lot of forgiveness and forward movement there, especially since Juan once called another woman the love of his life. If you can't be with the one you love, love the one you're with, I guess. As far as Juan's supposed cheating goes, none of us are aware of the rules of Robyn and Juan's marriage. Mia and Ashley's marriages are/were more open than most marriages. Perhaps Robyn and Juan have a similar arrangement. Perhaps he'll drop a dime in a "hot mic" segment next year... - If Wendy wants to remain on this show, she needs to try to make inroads to genuine friendships with Karen, Candiace, and Ashley. I get that she lives pretty far away from the others, but I can see that the distance isn't just geographical. The reason the other women are able to make amends and move forward is because they see each other outside of filming. This reminds me of my beloved Original Recipe New York cast. These women actually knew each other and hung together outside the show. That's why they could cuss each other out and then grind the night away ten minutes later. So much more fun to watch than constant anger and ten year old grudges. Oh, and I like what I've seen of Eddie. - Gizelle got off easy. She will receive no death threats or messages about ass whoopings from social media creepers and way-too-invested viewers. As usual, this very basic chick will skate by, and no one can explain why. Gizelle brought Candiace's rage onto herself. I maintained that Candiace would never usually speak to Gizelle, Karen, or Robyn in that manner -- unless really pushed -- because she has major respect for those three. Gizelle has lost that respect. Unleash the hounds, Candiace. Since I can see that everything that glitters ain't gold, I won't be mad whenever she eats that sad woman up. I just wish she would learn how to use KAREN language to get her point across better. That will come with time. Took me a few years to get there. It may be less direct and some may accuse her of not "keeping it real," but I've discovered that speaking their language brings me better results.
  22. Totally! During the first seasons, when the ladies would go on vacations and let it rip, I generally enjoyed Sonja and Luann's interaction the most. Sonja always got tipsy and made a beeline straight for the Countess (hence my jokes about the two of them eventually settling down with each other). They both seem to like having fun, while Ramona and Bethenny both feel more stiff and planned out, ya know? Meanwhile, Sonja and Luann seem the type to go with the flow and allow the night to take them wherever it goes. B and Ramona are both too controlling for that, IMO.
  23. See my post above. That would make the most sense to me, especially since Joe SUPPOSEDLY told her something so important that he can't recall.
  24. Phoebe's a worrier and a whiner, so when she made no mention of Vic's disappearance, I briefly thought she might have been the stalker-murderer. It just seemed odd that she would make no mention of it, especially since Vic seemed like a big part of her daily routine.
