  1. Barring any change in CBS's schedule, TAR26 is set to premiere late this February the same night Survivor's thirtieth season is set to premiere, so no, it's a fairly safe bet that this isn't the last season. ;)
  2. Not a good leg for these guys. Te Jay did the Roadblock well enough, but after that, it was a leg of failure when they biffed the Painters Detour. But at the same time, was I the only one who thought that it was kinda karma-ridden for way-too-openly celebrating beating out Amy & Maya in snagging the last spot? The food scientists were able to fly right by them at the other Detour, and they ended up in last. And with so many other teams with much better strengths going for them, I highly doubt they can overcome their Speed Bump in two weeks. Good luck, guys! Uphill battle ahead of you!
  3. Adam did fine with the Roadblock, I guess. But he and Bethany seemed to get really caught up at the Painters Detour, which seemed to be even harder due to Bethany only having one arm. I actually think they might've benefited better from doing Posers, or maybe even using their Express Pass. Still, they avoided last, so good for them.
  4. I'll admit that Brooke rocked out that Roadblock. But once again, her defeatism bugs. First with being unable to get a cab (though I don't entirely blame her since that did put them in last), and then when she and Robbie struggled with which Detour they'd pick knowing the numbers of teams limited to choose each one, and then, after that, when they faltered at the Detour. Robbie showed to have an impressive memory, though, and they might've nailed a top-three finish if Robbie had gotten that last one right. So pretty decent job, guys.
  5. A much better leg this week from these girls! Maya had me worried when she was the only one who had to do the Roadblock twice, but she didn't panic, just buckling down and doing it. I felt bad for her and Amy when they got booted from the Painters Detour, but Posers really did turn out to be better for them. Though I guess working with Brooke & Robbie helped them enormously. And honestly, with the wrestlers whining about getting beaten by them, I'm glad they came in ahead of them. Nice recovery, ladies!
  6. Once again, these girls churn out an excellent leg, this time running right behind Misti & Jim the whole way. They made me laugh wildly with Kym's imitation of Jim and calling them "Team No Fun" (because really, they're not). Kym rocked out the Roadblock, and she and Alli might've won the leg had they gotten through that Detour in just one try. Well done, girls!
  7. While they seem to be the team to beat at the moment, this episode started highlighting that there really are teams who might not like them. Jim needs to stop the bloviating and just have more fun. Misti seems to be, so Jim should be, too. Jim did well with the Roadblock and had a strategy I'll at least give him credit for in trying to keep Kym from finishing it in time if he didn't, as well. He and Misti also didn't panic at the Detour. Stop the ego-inflating, Jim, and I may start rooting for you and Misti.
  8. The Save expires after leg nine. The Express Pass expires one leg sooner, after leg eight. And no, no prior visits to Malta. in two weeks, it'll be the race's first visit there. So anyway, it was a good episode with the race's first visit to Sicily since Danielle & Dani and Dave & Lori's eliminations there in TAR9. The episode was filled with stunning views, another complicated Detour, both of them being attention-to-detail tasks this time, but one at least with the potential to work together. The Roadblock seemed fun, even though only one person had to redo it. And the three-hundredth-ever leg of the race?! Crazy! So now for the teams: Misti & Jim: While I do agree that they seem to be the team to beat at the moment, this episode started highlighting that there really are teams who might not like them. Jim needs to stop the bloviating and just have more fun. Misti seems to be, so Jim should be, too. Can't believe we're stuck waiting two weeks for one of the best casts in the series to continue their race! :(
  9. And this is why I'm one of the few Paige fans (and J.J./Paige fans). Once again, they meet up and talk things through like adults to make things right. Took a little longer than they usually do, but still . . . Paige owned up to her lapse in brains by believing Bev. Only thing they missed was J.J. telling her what he did. . . .
  10. Philippines, Caramoan, and Blood vs. Water all had a F3 facing a jury of eight. Philippines was changed due to Dana's quitting/evacuation. Caramoan . . . I don't know. It might've been altered with Shamar's evacuation, but I'm not sure. Blood vs. Water was always going that way, though. I suspect both might've decided to follow Philippines since they might've found it easier to handle. It was supposed to be a F3 facing a jury of seven, just as they'd done in China the season before and would also do with Gabon the season after. James's evacuation ended up changing things. Rather than making the F4 Immunity Challenge a simple Reward Challenge (since it was initially the F5 Immunity Challenge), they left it as an Immunity Challenge. The planned F3 ended up being a F2 facing a jury of eight instead.
  11. I am. I happen to like Jaclyn way more than her try-hard boyfriend and think she deserves her name being spelled properly. Truthfully, all the players do.
  12. Why is everyone calling Jon's girlfriend "Jacqueline?" It's "JACLYN!"
  13. Black villains on TV and in movies are incredibly rare, so I'm actually glad that we have one on some show (even if my boyfriend is the rabid watcher of this show, not I). I just wish Rowan wouldn't get away with so much. Villains are better when they're losing every now and then, not winning all the time. As for him being the only black man, we had another one last season, but poor Harrison had to get killed off for some reason.
  14. Non-elimination episodes don't typically bother me as much as most, but this is one in which an elimination really should've happened. The red team was within a whisker from winning the service, and Sterling fucks up the meat twice. And Frank can't even do a salad well?! In the last episode, I know I said that the two of them have been showing themselves to be stronger than they seemed at the start of the season, but this weak performance did deserve being sent home. Either one of them. Other than the cauliflower mess, it seems Roe's back to doing well in services again. I don't see how Sade could've thought Ramsay meant to cook dog food. Other than that mistake, though, it seems her addition has made the blue team a bit better. Glad to see the red team at least win a challenge for the first time in weeks. But they still have more people to dump if they hope to win more services. I hope someone is eliminated next week, though.
  15. Cochran was witty? I'll grant you well-spoken, but . . . witty? Um . . . uh . . . er . . . okay. . . .
  16. I just couldn't believe Josh thought Baylor owed him anything. She doesn't because he never saved her (game) life at all. And he never protected her, either. He was more than okay with voting her out in week three before he realized John was too untrustworthy and switched the vote to him. Baylor may have been saved by that, but that wasn't the point of that vote. It was just getting John out. And he was more than okay letting her get voted out in an idol bounceback in week two if Val had produced either of her alleged, but nonexistent, idols. And let's not forget him throwing away a vote onto her in week one after she decided to stick with him. Why Baylor would think he protected her is beyond me. What happened to her thinking she couldn't trust him? I'm not particularly big on Missy, either (though I still like her more than anyone on Josh's "side"), but she was basically right that Baylor owes him nothing.
  17. Oops. I checked my DVR, and yes, it was "Flipped." Edited accordingly now.
  18. I can and will continue to, then. No, it wasn't her business and she handled finding out about it very badly. But if I'd heard that reveal, I wouldn't know what to do with it, either.
  19. I wouldn't be surprised, either. I wonder if that's why nearly everyone was voting for him?
  20. Are we watching the same show? I've always thought it's been the other way around. ALWAYS.
  21. Perhaps, but it's not unbelievable that Witney played Robin. There actually was a female Robin in the DC Comics history.
