  1. 9:36 PM - Apr 7, 2018 Pauley Perrette twitter @PauleyP: Abby’s exit from #NCIS is in two parts. May 1 and May 8th. I worked really hard to give you my best. I really hope EVERYONE tunes in. Bless From next-episode.net: 15x21 May 01, 2018 "One Step Forward" Sara Carter begs Gibbs to investigate her mother’s murder as she believes the local authorities convicted the wrong man. Also, Abby is awarded a dinner reservation for two to a brand-new five-star restaurant in an igloo and has to decide which coworker deserves to go with her. 15x22 May 08, 2018 "Two Steps Back"
  2. Samar: “According to this (underground chat room), over 700 million women worldwide were married as minors to adult men”. Aram: “ Half our states have no age limit. More than 200,000 American children were married in the last 15 years. Apparently, all that's needed is parental consent or judicial approval”. At first, I was taken back watching the scene with the team that included these comments because I was sure that the child marriage numbers were an exaggeration put forth by the writers to further the blacklist case, but according to the latest UNICEF statistics, these numbers are accurate which is just really troubling. However, according to UNICEF, child marriage numbers are now falling. UNICEF estimates that 25 million child marriages have been prevented in the past decade. I would never have expected this kind of story to be part of a ‘Blacklist’ episode, but rather something that might show up in the ‘Madam Secretary’ series given that child marriages are more prevalent in foreign countries. The problem is most severe in Africa. The child marriage twist was a worthwhile distraction from the ongoing bones-in-duffle-bag plot which has been lost on most viewers after all this time.
  3. She gave herself away when she acted upset on the plane and rushed away to get a drink. I am sympathetic to Roman's family backstory, but still hard to believe he would kill his sister. He is being played by Blake and the relationship is just a ruse. IMO.
  4. Voight always supports his team when things get personal for any team member. Voight leaving the show seems very unlikely. IMO.
  5. Biggest criminals seems an exaggeration. The torture extremes only come into place when it becomes personal. Olinsky (daughter); Voight (son Justin murdered); Antonio (son kidnapped); Burgess (sister sexual assault) The surveillance cameras installed in the cage room has ended the in house torture for the most part this season. Voight and Olinsky are old school; Run from a cop, you get a beating. Shoot at a cop, you get killed.
  6. Agree. Olinsky has helped cover up the Voight 'street tax' fund over the years. Olinsky is in trouble now because he helped Voight move the body of his son's killer. He had nothing to do with the original killing. Erin is at risk as well because she tried to stop Voight from the revenge killing. Voight made the killer dig his own grave before his self confession, but the body had to be moved later after Erin realized the location was uncovered by the brass while she was under surveillance. Voight is the one who needs to fix things in order to keep Olinsky from trouble. It can't all be about protecting Erin at this point. I am sure Voight realizes that and he will call in a favor to get rid of the evidence.
  7. On 2/28/2018 AT 1:04 AM VINCEW SAID: After both of them were on edge with each other at work for most of last season, their interaction now is pretty nonsensical. Can the writers give viewers just one scene with them together away from the workplace chaos acting as a real couple? The romance continues in the workplace. Samar kisses henpecked Aram while he is wearing a hazmat suit. Just a subtle reminder that our couple is so much in love now.
  8. After both of them were on edge with each other at work for most of last season, their interaction now is pretty nonsensical. Can the writers give viewers just one scene with them together away from the workplace chaos acting as a real couple?
  9. A real nonsensical and tortured premise in order for the writers to give viewers some kind of update on McGee and his ghost family life taking care of the twins. McGee would move his disabled wife and twin babies out of his home to accommodate a criminal case? Makes no sense. Once again, Fornell easily ambushed and overtaken by the bad guys. The whole season has been overdone with a designated profile link to every case. IMO. I am hanging on for now to watch the Abby departure.
  10. 9 Reasons We (cbs.com) Love Henry McCord on Madam Secretary: 1 - He would do anything to protect his children. 2 - He doesn't let anything come between Elizabeth and himself. 3 - He’s tough, yet sensitive. 4 - He knows how to be sexy and spontaneous. 5 - He makes great arm candy. 6 - He can handle a powerful woman. 7 - He stands by his morals. 8 - He would never turn his back on a friend. 9 - He’s funny and smart.
  11. Voight stopped Danny from rushing into the lounge in order to avoid a slaughter inside, but Voight let Danny decide about giving the suspects a car. Antonio did his part by getting the suspects started on negotiations for a getaway car. The daughter was just headstrong over her feelings for the boy friend which led her to the lounge after the father trashed the boy friend and their future together. Antonio warned the girl not to run once she was taken outside no matter what happens. I don't see what else the team could have done except it did look like Halstead had a shot at both of them once the suspects reached the car especially the suspect holding Antonio, but the girl ran and events went sideways fast.
  12. (cell phone buzzing) Ruzek: "That's my UC phone. Maybe it's a tip. You know?" (cell phone buzzing continues; he picks up phone) Ruzek: "Yeah" Atwater: "Hey. A.D." (Ruzek knocking on his desk) Atwater: "A.D. What's up man?"
  13. I very clever twist put forth by the writers on the issue of the 25th amendment as it applies to the President unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office which then empowers the Vice President and his cabinet to declare a President “incapacitated". The 25th Amendment, Section 4, Option: “Whenever the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive departments or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall immediately assume the powers and duties of the office as Acting President.” However, the extent the writers went to get Dalton acting so out of character was overdone. IMO. After the Cabinet coup meeting, the writers went to the Dalton "brain tumor' card in order to make his recovery easier after the hiatus.
  14. Per the 'Next Episode' web site: 4x13 will air Mar 11, 2018; Enjoy the Winter Olympics.
  15. Agree. The ongoing 'Elizabeth for President ' mantra that has been prevalent for weeks now points to that kind of finale because the series will end after this season. IMO. If the series was going to run past this season, I doubt that viewers would have been given so many early revelations in recent episodes on her possible ambitions for President. Really, how else can it end since the SoS position only persists at the wishes of the President in power.
  16. Unlike Bones, it was disappointing the way the last two Castle seasons were handled by the network over the ongoing angst between the co-stars. The Castle show runner (Marlowe) enjoyed poking fun at the Bones series whenever he had the chance, but Bones handled the ending beautifully and the Booth/Brennan relationship made the show a big success. I still listen to 'Almost Home' when I get a chance in order to keep in touch with the Bones series.
  17. This is so true about families in so many of the cop procedural stories on the network. As far as adult relationships, the writers go no further than will-they-or-won't-they as long as possible until the whole story becomes ambiguous.
  18. The mother I would hope so, but the sister lives overseas.
  19. The McGee family life now seems to be lost on the writers since the big buildup to the wedding and twin announcement. No after thought on screen now about what lies ahead for McGee with his new responsibilities. A new mother at home, disabled, confined to wheelchair with 4 week old twins and no mention about some level of outside care being provided to the McGee household to help care for the twins. McGee babbling at work about taking a case near the holidays, but seems totally oblivious to what Delilah might be going through at home with the twins. Makes no sense. I enjoyed Delilah as an accomplished intelligence analyst working cases with the team, but all that history now seems lost for future episodes since the takeover by the new show runners after the passing of Gary Glasberg.
  20. Agree. She presents now as a more realistic and serious policy adviser. Better writing.
  21. The landmine message invoked by the writers in this episode brought back fond memories of the mission by Diana, Princess of Wales to rid the world of landmines. It was interesting to watch Elizabeth take on Diana's persona while persisting with her staff about the danger to children much the same as Princess Diana did in her charity work. Lady Diana was obsessed with the issue while traveling the globe for many years until her tragic death. This year is the 20th anniversary of Diana walking through a partially cleared mine field in Angola as the world watched on TV. At that time, negotiations on the Mine Ban Treaty were ongoing and Diana’s visit to the minefield and her subsequent advocacy helped galvanize public opinion against anti-personnel landmines. The landmine story was overshadowed quickly with the ‘Elizabeth for President’ mantra which was unfortunate after such a good start to the episode. The Henry CIA spying on US congressmen stuff has pretty much run off course after the odd revelation that a US Senator was the culprit behind the leaks. It seems probable that Stevie will find out the truth about Dmitri before he takes her to bed. However, if that would happen, Henry would likely put out his own marker on Dmitri before the Russians get a chance to kill him.
  22. Relax; It was just speculation on my part. She might help Ruzek with the sister legal issue as well.
  23. There is no lawyer/client privilege between a cop and an attorney acquaintance discussing a hypothetical situation. The greeting between them at the start of the meeting does suggest some kind of personal/professional history and she is somebody he can trust. The scene was more about Ruzek coming to grips with his legal consequences over turning against Voight..
  24. I wonder if the woman who gave legal advice to Ruzek during the bar conversation provided the heads up to Voight about what was really behind Ruzek's troubles. I think that Voight knew about the Woods setup beforehand which explains Voight openly keeping the cash found at the murder scene.
