  1. Of all the people to lay off, they are choosing Sarah and Jessica? WTF? This is bizarre to me, especially Sarah's exit. April is interesting again! This seems really lazy. I can think of at least three other characters I would remove before April or Arizona. I am baffled by this choice.
  2. Yes, I remember when she gave an interview to either Glamour or InStyle back in 2014/early 2015. She said that when David told her he didn't want to cast her as Amy, she immediately fired her agent. She was having an extremely difficult time getting good parts, and that was the last straw. Good for her. I loved her in Wild.
  3. This is the most watchable Scandal has been since I can’t even remember.
  4. To me, the most unbelievable part of the episode was the notion that Rebecca would be a-okay to drive from the hospital to Miguel’s house. There is no way in hell I could have gotten behind the wheel of a car after seeing my husband’s dead body. Just no. Not on your life. I cried throughout the entire episode. Mandy Moore better be nominated for an Emmy, damn it.
  5. I could not stop laughing at Rowan and the dinosaur. Like, do they think that's the stuff of drama? Do they not know the audience is cackling at that? I was glad I was home alone to watch this episode because it was so embarrassing. That being said, Joe Morton is fucking fantastic and COMMITS, damn it! What happened to this show? Also, the idea that a 40 week pregnant woman could fit into a suitcase that size is beyond anyone's comprehension. It's so implausible.
  6. Yeah, I’m confused as to why it’s so surprising that they won a SAG for Best Ensemble. They are an outstanding cast and very talented. I’m happy for them.
  7. Also, for those that said no one would watch an all-SEC championship game: https://articles.al.com/sports/index.ssf/2018/01/alabamas_cfp_national-champion.amp?__twitter_impression=true
  8. I couldn’t care less if his players cursed the president. On my list of concerns, that is non existent. As for the stuff about the players, no team is perfect. Roll tide roll! Why is it so unfathomable that Alabama actually earned their way to the top? Never in my life have I seen a team get so much ire for being great. Oh, well. It just makes me double down on my love of them.
  9. I find it humorous to be mad at a team that made an excellent comeback to win the game. Can’t be mad at talent and strategy. Way to go, Nick Saban. ROLL TIDE! Well said! Say what you will about Saban, but he is an excellent coach. You can’t be mad about that. He did his job. That being said, Alabama needs to find another kicker posthaste.
  10. I love Steve Jobs, too. I watch it anytime I see it on HBO. Kate Winslet was robbed of the Best Supporting Actress Oscar that year, IMO.
  11. Well, the other reason is that UCF only played one team from the Power Five: Maryland. Their lack of opponents from that group also hurt their standing. To be fair, though, they were supposed to play Georgia Tech, but that game was canceled because of Hurricane Irma. However, considering they beat my most hated football team ever, Auburn, they are in good standing with me.
  12. I am thrilled that Georgia beat OK. I cannot stand OK and Mayfield. That game was excellent. I am also so glad to be vindicated for the Alabama top 4 pick! This, ladies and gentlemen, is why the committee chose Bama over OSU. We got the majority of our injured players back. Also, special shoutout to Payne— he got an interception and a TD! Way to go. The only thing that drove me up the damn wall was the offensive play calling in the second half. RUN THE BALL. Anyways, I’m glad the championship game is SEC vs SEC. I am so tired of hearing how our conference is weak. It is just a bunch of malarkey.
  13. If anything, I think the top two reasons Bama is in over OSU is 1) the goose egg that OSU left when they played Clemson last year and 2) Iowa loss. They good and damn well weren’t going to risk number one happening again. The committee knew Bama would AT LEAST put some points on the board.
  14. There was no outrage last year because everyone knew that OSU didn’t have a shot in hell of winning the title. It’s in vogue to hate Alabama, and they stand a good shot of winning. Hence, the outrage this year. if anything, this should damn well be a reason to expand the playoffs.
  15. If Alabama doesn’t make the top 4, I’m calling bullshit of the highest order. The top 4 is for the four best teams, not the teams who won their conference championship. By that logic, a team from the PAC-12 would be in the top 4. I know it’s all hip and cool to hate Alabama, but Alabama works hard to be one of the best, if not THE best, college football team. They aren’t messy, and they stay above the fray. If people don’t want Alabama to be in the top 4, then other teams need to BE BETTER. A loss to an unranked team with a 7-5 record? Come ON. Side note: I giggled like a loon when I saw that Georgia won over Auburn. Well played, dawgs. Auburn is severely overrated.
  16. How on Earth is Reese Witherspoon, Oscar winner, billed *after* Oprah Winfrey?
  17. Thank you. God forbid a woman look her age. I guess I should prepare to exit the Earth once I turn 35.
  18. I agree. This is my favorite episode since Memphis. I have always liked Kevin, and seeing him breakdown on Charlotte's lawn BROKE. ME. He seemed like such a child in that moment. I don't think I have ever seen him that vulnerable. It was uncomfortable to watch. I've always thought Justin Hartley was a much better actor than the writing gives him credit for.
  19. Although Charlotte had a right to be pissed about how she was treated, I cannot imagine just shutting the window on a guy who lost the one thing his dad gave him before he died. What Kevin did was shitty, but let's put things in perspective here.
  20. Thank you for the explanation! I guess I naively took Kerry at her word that the situation was so desperate she just had to the C-section there. Not to mention that the woman had to have hysterectomy! If I found out that it didn't need to happen, I'd be suing like crazy. Ah, "A Simple Twist of Fate." I have to hand it to the make-up department, Elizabeth truly looks like shit. I know it wasn't supposed to be funny, but I laughed when Elizabeth asked if Mark had called the police. Sure, Elizabeth. Mark called the police on his own daughter. Even though I don't agree with Elizabeth kicking Rachel out without discussing it with Mark, I 100% agreed with her that if Mark'd had a firmer hand, the drugs wouldn't have been in the house in the first place. He was way too easy on her. I can see why she just told Rachel to get the hell out.
  21. The Carter/Benton goodbye makes my heart smile. It's just so sweet, well done, and without any over the top histrionics. Also: Noah Wyle's acting when he hears Paul's voice and during the entire scene to his vomiting is excellent. You can see all of his emotions. Also, replaying the song was a nice touch.
  22. Grey's Anatomy also had -- and still has -- this issue with Derek and Meredith. You're telling me the chief of neurosurgery and the chief of general surgery cannot afford a full time nanny and baby sitter? What in the actual fuck. I know that Elizabeth and Mark work at a county hospital instead of a well-regarded, nationally recognized teaching hospital, but it's still ludicrous. Heh, I could ask my dad (he's an OB/GYN as well), but I'm curious as to why it's so infuriating. Was she supposed to let both the mother and baby die?
  23. I cannot wait until Kerry's backstabbing of Chen comes back to bite her in the ass. Right now, it's infuriating to watch. Can anyone explain to me how a chief resident is supposed to be an attending?? It is painful to watch Elizabeth. She has zero joy. Also, I have a huge problem with her attitude regarding Rachel staying at their house. Rachel is Mark's child. She *always* has a right to stay at a place where her FATHER is. WTF, Elizabeth?
  24. That scene was horrifying to watch. It was just so terrible. My whole body was cringing. Mellie, in times of crisis, use your fucking fingers. Can someone bring the president of Bashran back? He is hot and calls Liv on her shit. Fitz was looking damn good in that leather jacket. Liv should've invited him in for a threesome along with Jay. It would've been no more ludicrous than any of the other plot lines on this show. I need Abby's dress. Huck cracked me up.
  25. I had my family home burned out earlier this year, so damn, seeing that house at the end hurt my soul.
