  1. I 100% respect this. Especially because when VPR started, I thought it was going to be horrific. Now: 7 seasons in. I have semi-withdrawls when it's not on. I follow most of the cast on social. And I flipped out when I saw castmembers Katie and Schwartz on Hollywood Boulevard. But the best part is the boards. Come visit us! We have cookies! And GIFs!
  2. How does Bethenny keep finding all these dudes who are so amazingly and immediately devoted to her? Geez Louise. I swear the other women aged during that interminable Dennis segment. Seriously. When the show started I stopped to think about how good Luann’s skin looked, and towards the end of the segment, I saw wrinkles like nobody’s business. What KIND of substance? *BadumPSHT* It reminds me of the ads for cheap perfume and “designer” jeans, from back in the 80s. No joke. That ad for the Beverly Hills reunion threw the color balance off on my TV.
  3. Sneak footage of next season. You saw it here first
  4. I’ve seen some eps on MeTV,* and I’m partial to “As the Stomach Turns.” Which is how I feel about RHOBH at this point. (* PS I adore Mama’s Family... watching it right now)
  5. Teddi: *races up, henchman-like, to interrupt Camille and Kyle’s conversation* Camille: *shuts it down* Teddi: “WAAAHHHH Camille came in all aggressive! I’m not attacking her!” Camille: She protecc She attac But most importantly She shuts down Teddi and Rinna Biggest lie... Rinna is empathetic towards Camille and LVP. She doesn’t care and her pill stuff doesn’t compare. ETA: How is Dorit always the one who ends up getting an apology, or thinking she deserves one? Her hands are hardly clean!
  6. I thought Erika Jayne was the queen of No Effs Given? Is her nose out of joint? BTW this is candid footage of me, caught on tape Maybe she could wear a bedazzled Agency hat! It was Dior. (Not that it matters AT ALL, it was just the one detail I actually remembered about SATC fashion) (MMV But I never really cared for it—to paraphrase the Countess, “Even Dior makes mistakes”)
  7. There’s a girl that’s been on my miiinnnd/All the time/Sassoon Sassoon Sassoonio! Oh oh! We don’t even know her name... so she left the show just the same!/Sassoon Sassoon Sassoonio!
  8. Yeah, I’ve never seen Rinna, Kyle, or Dorit authentically own much of anything.
  9. If current eps are any indication, we’ll still see deflection (from Kyle and Rinna) and poor-me sob stories (from Kyle, Teddi, and of course Dorit)... so lucky us, we’ll still have our fill of obnoxious behavior! Can’t wait!
  10. A) I would watch Sassoon, Fix My Life B) Minus Carlton, I would watch ROADHOBH (Real One-and-Done Housewives of Beverly Hills)
  11. Pete is A DYCKMAN! (Which always make me laugh a bit because *I* am a Dyckman and most of the Dyckman descendants I know are not posh or blue bloods in the least 🙂 ) I thought of Don and Betty at camp and that was another situation where I was a little uncomfortable 😉
  12. Of course. But I’m still uninterested in cheering on an affair. For me personally, it was one thing to observe Don and his many affairs, and another to see Ted and Peggy and actually *want* one to happen. I can understand why they got together but—even from the standpoint of fiction—I felt very uncomfortable saying “I hope they get together!” I found the relationship dynamics fascinating on this show. But frankly, the constant cheating was the one aspect that wore on me.
  13. In addition to Peggy’s first love being work, I’ve wondered if she didn’t subconsciously use her relationship with Don as a measuring stick. That is, she wouldn’t be happy with a romantic relationship until it paralleled the platonic relationship she had with Don. To be clear, I never shipped her and Don, nor do I think Peggy herself *ever* would have wanted to be with Don. But, think: Don showed Peggy respect. He gave her professional opportunities. He challenged her. And when she was in the hospital, he showed care and discretion. She saw a side of Don that few other women saw, and they had a unique connection. If, on some level, she sought those things out in a serious romantic relationship, I wouldn’t have blamed her. That she ended up with Stan—a coworker—was not entirely surprising in that respect... I think she saw in Stan much of what she had platonically in Don. She may have TRIED to see it in Abe (the “modern” male) and Ted (the boss figure) but clearly they didn’t have the respect for her (Abe) or backbone (Ted). The dance to “My Way” illustrated this perfectly for me. But in order to truly work as a romantic, she’d need more parity, which she had with Stan (at least more closely than she did with Don). Never in a million years will I cheer on an affair. But with Ted—at least at first—I’ll say that I had wished he wasn’t married, because initially I thought they would have been good together, and I appreciated how he treated her. I didn’t admire him as time went on, precisely because of how he treated his wife and how he treated Peggy post-affair. But in those early days, I admit that it would’ve been hard for me to ignore his charms, had I been in her position. Plus, I think Kevin Rahm is really cute and I was mad they gave him that hideous mustache in later seasons 😉
  14. This “new” retread was a snore and I deleted it 1/3 of the way in. I kept missing the popups because I’d get distracted reading the boards. They weren’t that interesting, anyway.
  15. Sounds like she wasn’t. From https://people.com/tv/vanderpump-rules-jax-taylor-brittany-cartwright-married/:
  16. I read in People that it was convertible and she got several “looks” out of it. i actually think that’s a cool idea... didn’t love the dress but I like the idea.
  17. I mean, she already has the EGO... why not make it an EGOT?
  18. The assumption I made was that they’re all Bergdorf Blondes and the rest are Dress Barn Brunettes. Or something. It was a snobby thing to say. Every time I see this photo I the comments, it looks like a screen grab from an episode of Seinfeld, when they started the show with him performing in a comedy club. If I hadn’t seen this episode, I wouldn’t be able to tell if it looked like forced laughter or heckling. I could’ve sworn the assistant mentioned some other brand of hooch as the alcohol for the mixed drinks? There are a few of us in the Ramen-a Noodle Fan Club 😉I do not like everything she says or does, but I usually get a kick out of her. NONE of these women are perfect. I do, however, feel like the only one who is super irritated by Chrissy Tiegen. I first saw her on some Christmas cocktail show on the old Fine Living Network. She was just starting to develop her persona but it was strong enough for me to be irritated with her & her “MY BOYFRIEND John Legend and I blah blah blah” and “When MY BOYFRIEND—John Legend—and I blah blah blah...” and obnoxious laugh... Meh. No WWHL for me!
  19. Well, there weren’t any coupons for Coolsculpting on Coupon Cabin, so I am out.
  20. (This is re: Camille and her house) Every time I hear something like this, I think of Charlotte York. “Oh, I paid for that apartment.”
  21. MENTION IT ALL! (And I definitely think they were scared)
  22. I wonder if she’d still be voted “most hated” if we took the poll now. Not excusing her behavior. But we’ve seen worse at this point.
  23. Responding here because JCM isn’t relevant to our episode. The quote about his music habits was straight from him, in an article by David Fricke (a reliable music journalist). And you gotta admit that learning a guy known for Americana music was originally in a band inspired by the New York Dolls is kind of surprising. Wikipedia is often well done. It’s not a proper reference resource (with good reason), but most of the time people get it right in there, especially when they cite their sources. I don’t care if he smoked pot; it doesn’t really translate as “drug addict” to me. I’m purely surprised by his early musical influences.
  24. Yep! I’ve seen some silk ones at Sephora, and apparently the original brand, Scuncii, is still at it. ETA I think they’re largely coming back as items to sleep in/hold your hair back as you wash your face, etc., maybe not fashion statements.
