  1. Yeah, they really do. I have some British friends and have had to learn not to take it personally when they say it. But the connotation is also different. It's used more as a term of affection than an insult.
  2. Trust me, I have. I still wouldn't use that word. To each their own, right?
  3. See, I have the opposite feeling about this. I abhor that word (just typing C-U-Next-Tuesday makes me cringe) and while we haven't seen the scene leading up to that, or if it even is said to Heather, to me it is completely unnecessary and only makes Kelly look bad. To be fair though, I have always liked Heather. I know she's not everybody's favorite OC Housewife, but she has always been mine. Prior to her arrival, I hardly ever watched. Since she's joined I have watched every season. She's the only reason I even tolerate Vicki and Gramballs.
  4. Based on the outfits we've seen in those clips, I think it's Heather that gets the C-U-Next-Tuesday treatment from Kelly. In the clip they show of Heather saying "that is low-class dirty behavior" or something similar, Heather is wearing the same dress as she is in the clip where she's crying in a car. She has said that they way they edited the preview of the season makes it seem as though she's crying after an argument with Terry, but she has stated that that is not the case at all. Makes me think that Kelly was yelling that at Heather.
  5. I hate that "joke". It's old and lame. I grew up in LA and my step-father was a professor at USC, so maybe I'm biased, but I am so sick of hearing that. I loved Shannon's comeback though, University of Successful Children indeed. Good to see that Vicki is just as delusional as ever. She takes no responsibility whatsoever for her part in Brooks deceiving everyone and never will. She admitted on camera that she would do it all over again. WTH? Seriously Vicki? And you wonder why the women weren't rushing to greet you with open arms and apologizing to YOU? My eyes have never rolled so hard. It's time for Andy to take away her orange. The new girl...please, for the love of all that is good and holy in this world, back away from the botox and fillers. Holy crap, her TH look is frightening. That nude lipstick does her no favors whatsoever. There's a puppet character from Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood that she reminded me of but I can't think of the name. Not a fan of her already. Too loud, too brash...too much like Gramballs but worse. Dear god, I didn't think THAT was possible. Loved Heather's dress at the yacht party but thought her "Gorgeous" to everyone was a little over the top. The fake Gretchen was decidedly NOT gorgeous. I thought I was having flashbacks when I saw her. Someone needs to tell her that that is not a look to emulate. Don't care about Gramballs and her skeevey son and his insta-fiancee. I did notice though that she is not in Tamra's intro. Weren't she and her girls in it with them last year?
  6. Yes! This has made my day. I have never liked her and am happy I no longer have to see her on my tv.
  7. WOOHOO!! Yolanda Foster leaving RHoBH
  8. I want Kathryn back next year just for her blogs. http://www.bravotv.com/the-real-housewives-of-beverly-hills/season-6/blogs/kathryn-edwards/kathryn-edwards-i-believe-the
  9. It seemed like she was referring to Lisa Rinna. At least that's how I saw it. And I would wholeheartedly agree with her on this. That was ridiculous.
  10. I have a feeling I would be wasting my time. Back to the thread topic...I was watching this episode again this weekend and was struck by something. I noticed it a couple of times last year but thought maybe I was imagining it but saw it again in this episode. Dorinda always looks disgusted or embarrassed by John. When they were outside the restaurant for their monthly anniversary dinner and then when they were at dinner inside...she had this look of complete disgust. Perhaps this is part of what the other ladies are picking up on and why they dislike John? Did anyone else see this?
  11. Wow. Just...wow. I want to say so much more but am restraining myself.
  12. Bethenny needs to STFU about how "small" her closet is. That closet is about the size of our guest bedroom...which is where my closet is because the one in our bedroom is too small for both of us to hang our clothes! I'm done with Dorinda. Just can't with her. I think Bethenny hit the nail on the head with her assessment of Dorinda. I'm withholding judgement on the new girl for now. Need a little bit more time to see how she handles Bethenny and the others. I will say this though...that was not negotiating. That was your child being a brat until you gave in to his demands. That being said...I can't judge her for it. I have a 2 year old and god knows there have been times that both myself and his father have just given him what he wanted to eat instead of continuing to fight with him. There's a reason why we sometimes call him a "little dictator". And to be fair to her, this was one instance that we've seen. There could be plenty of times that she has stuck to her guns, even if it meant a full on, blood curdling tantrum...like the one I just had last night with my son.
  13. Thank you for sharing your own story and I applaud you for putting your foot down with regards to what you could handle. My grandfather, who I was extremely close to, suffered from dementia due to Parkinson's for years. He and my grandmother lived in an assisted living facility in Nebraska and I visited as often as I could...which was not often seeing as I was in my 20's and living in California. Every visit was a knife to my heart. The man I saw was not my grandfather. I still made a trip out there at least once a year to see them but it became harder and harder to as the years went on and I can honestly say that I also felt relief when he eventually passed away. I do not judge LisaR or Eileen for their reaction to the call from Kathryn's mother.
  14. Didn't see that anyone else posted this so apologies if they have. Kathryn's blog is up and I for one LOVE IT. Suck on this Eileen and Lisa Rinna. http://www.bravotv.com/the-real-housewives-of-beverly-hills/season-6/blogs/kathryn-edwards/kathryn-edwards-say-it-own-it
  15. So much WORD to the bolded. I get why Eileen was upset in the beginning but FFS, move on! She is never going to get the response that she wants from VDP and continuing to harp on it is only making her look bad now.
  16. Congratulations!!! I'm in my third trimester right now and SO thankful it's not during the height of summer. Summers here in Florida are brutal enough. I'm sure you're going to rock your caftans! :)
  17. Just because it's slowly driving me insane to see the women's dresses constantly referred to as "mumus"...they are not. They are caftans. Yes, they are somewhat similar but they are not the same. A muumuu is a shapeless monstrosity that's usually in some hideous Hawaiian print. A caftan is a lovely, flowing, typically long dress that moves with your body. If you watched the women when they were walking into the suite, you could see how their caftans moved with them, especially Katheryn's when she changed into hers and showed it off to the ladies. Muumuus do not move like that. The fabrics are often very different as well. Muumuus tend to be made out of a stiff cotton and/or polyester blend. Caftans are typically made out of a more silky material. For visual reference, I give you the following: Muumuus: Caftans:
  18. I found this pretty amusing. http://elitedaily.com/entertainment/sur-the-night-they-filmed-vanderpump-rules-reunion/1430540/
  19. Technically the march wasn't in BH. The Chinese Consulate in Los Angeles is about 10 miles away from BH. And Yulin is in China, not Japan.
  20. I wish I could like this post a 1,000 times. AMEN!
  21. Have to chime in on the bathtub thing. Personally I saw nothing wrong with it at all. But then I used to do the same thing with a very dear friend of mine back in college. And horror of horrors, we even drank in the jacuzzi tub!!! *eyeroll* I see no difference than if they were in an actual hot tub. You could see that Marissa had on black bottoms. So what if they shared a hot soak after being outside in the freezing cold all day? I'd much rather see an hour of them drinking and gossiping in hot bubbly tub together than even a second of the horror that was Gramballs and Eddie on RHoOC.
  22. Just pointing out that they're only renting because they sold their old house to build their new one. Vastly different from why Jim and Alexis were renting.
  23. Holy christ, I am SO in for this. I have not watched the last 3-4 episodes as I just couldn't bring myself to watch again after Vicki's visit to Briana in Oklahoma, but I have been reading the forums and recaps. This is going to be EPIC. Just based on this preview alone, Meghan gets a free pass for the season from me. And so help me Andy Cohen, Vicki had better not be given her orange back next year. Not after this. And Heather gets a lifetime free pass from me for telling Shannon that David doesn't get to excuse the affair with "because you nagged me." What an asshole! DH and I have a firm rule in our relationship that if it is ever that bad that you have even the SLIGHTEST inclination to cheat, speak up to try and fix it or end the relationship. It is not just disrespectful to the relationship and the other person, but to yourself as well.
  24. If you haven't lied Vicki, then you shouldn't have anything to worry about!!!!
  25. Since everyone keeps talking about how Beckett has lied to Castle, I just had to quote this and point out that Castle is not innocent in the lying department either. Mr. Smith anyone?
