  1. England to Magnetic Island Australia, guy, with the 'bikini model' friend. What a doofus. Says 'my hobby is professional wrestling'. I'm pretty sure professional wrestling is the opposite of a hobby. God what a tool that guy was.
  2. Those wave-riding set-ups aren't intended for only pro surfers though, they are for beginners to get a feel for it. I'm pretty sure I've seen them on cruise ships. Adam even said it didn't feel like surfing, he compared it to snowboarding. You just had to stand with your weight on your back foot, Bethany was clearly doing this. Kym and Alli were more even, that's why the kept cathcing edges and going down.
  3. Skillet Chicken Fajitas for dinner, these are so freaking good. Tons of dishes and steps, of course, but so worth it. Pickled radishes are a necessary topping.
  4. Probably Season 3, when they were at the exact same square, doing slightly different variations of the same tasks.
  5. For all the comments claiming that the blue tribe was only going by what Jeremy remembered, don't forget they had someone that would know a whole lot about Rocker: Julie.
  6. Sierramist, in the UK maternity leave is a year so her baby would not have to be a newborn. The youngest child is definitely older than in Broadchurch, and I think Ellie had just returned from a vacation in Florida, but it could have come at the end of her leave.
  7. Bethany probably can't put on a traditional bra with hooks in the back (or front), and probably has to wear those semi-sports bras that don't really have much support.
  8. I just can't imagine it would be very safe to let teams self-drive on the final leg. Imagine the adrenaline pumping.
  9. Are Ryan and Rob partners IRL as well? They are labelled as co-workers, but it sounds like Rob encourages Ryan up the climb with ' that's my hun' (or hub?). It's just interesting that they haven't been presented as a couple at all if that's the case. Not the most exciting episode, I am happy with any team winning. Remember the finale is on Sunday and not Tuesday.
  10. I am certain that the leggings are Team Canada gear. (Saw olympic athlete in my town wearing them). I don't know if TPTB wanted them to wear their olympic kit, if they did, or if the canada olympic committee wanted them too. I know that national team athletes have to wear team outfits when travelling.
  11. I found the 'go to the metro station' clue, just to pick up another clue, interesting. I wonder if there was a task edited out. Another fun episode, although I can't imagine running up flights of stairs with a belly full of cheese.
  12. Made the Mujadarra from the latest issue (oct'14), was really good, crispy onions and yogurt sauce made the dish. 'Iguessnot'- that chicken Parm us one of my faves. I often make a double batch of sauce and save it in the freezer to make it faster for the next time.
  13. But TPTB don't know what's going to be shown on the race until the editing stage. They have no idea how the first unshown u-turn could have affected the rest of the race so they can't just say it doesn't count. The rules must be different for TAR Canada as far as u-turns. Am I remembering correctly that Pierre & Michel picked out their picture from the box and not from their fannypack? I know that on TAR US, you have your own picture and if you lose it you can't u-turn. Happened to someone, Hayden & Aaron maybe? Just went back to episode 3 thread with photo of u-turn board and Pierre and Michel were u-turned by Sukhi and Jinder, not the other way. Therefore surprised Sukhi & Jinder could u-turn.
  14. Made one of my favourites, Chicken Tikka Masala last night. Not too dishwashing heavy, and very tasty. I am so happy summer id coming to an end, and I'll be able to make some of my favourite dishes again, I'm not willing to use the oven when it is hot out, and am getting very tired of grilling.
  15. Once again, a single leg that was more difficult than the entire last US TAR edition. Mickey and Pete were the only ones to get the gambling challenge on their first try. Some great edits with Sukhi and Jinder, 'look, look, look' and then next 'what are we looking at?' Also 'where do we get a taxi?' Shot of them taking off in different directions. I hope they have 2 camera crews, or they cameraman gets a bonus to keep track of them.
  16. Watching the surfing task again, it appears that Rex and Bob are in deeper water than the rest of the teams. You can clearly see that Rex is waist deep, and there are shots of cameramen waist deep as well. Most of the rest of the teams are knee deep, and mostly in the wash, not the actual wave. I wonder if they thought the rest of the teams weren't following the instructions and would get a penalty. Shawn's shoulder popped out because he hit his hand on the bottom. I wonder what the clue actually said.
  17. Old guy in the restaurant totally copped a feel on Sukhi's butt. Does anyone know if Canadians need a visa to visit Hong Kong? I'm wondering how surprising going there was. I know that on the US version the racers get visas to more countries than they actually go to, so they have some idea of where they may be going.
  18. Thought it was a great episode, lots of tasks and lots of shuffling. Rex seems pretty upset with the edit on Twitter, says that they did the challenge and other teams were given a pass. Interesting.
  19. It's been announced that there won't be Redemption Island after all. Not sure if it's due to the team that couldn't start. Can I speculate a bit here? Reading that the twinnies are competing, and Jeff saying at the reunion show that we'll be able to tell who the pairs are even thought they are new, is it possible they are teams of twins? Could they find 10 twin pairs to sign up?
  20. No mention of Rob Has A Podacst? I love his Survivor coverage. Matt Paxton from Hoarders had a podcast (hasn't been updated since December), but I loved listening to it. He can sure tell a story. It's not all about hoarders, mostly about his interesting life. It's called Five Decisions Away. There were some duds later in the series, but still worth a listen. Glad for everyone's suggestions, keep them coming.
  21. Pretty sure they were only using one hand to put bulbs in, could have gone twice as fast if the screwed them in 2 at a time.
