I know we all detest Liam, most of us, anyway, but this clip is funny. SC is by far the funniest, with Donna as a close second, in my opinion; it’s the actors suggesting how to dress up as the character they play, for Halloween. Once they wrote him into a corner with the Flo nonsense, then she left, Wyatt lost most of his purpose. The saddest part (besides a father of 2 small children being fired), is that Liam is only tolerable in scenes with Wyatt. I’ll genuinely miss the scenes of the Spencer men, & I’d rather spork my eyes out than watch Liam scenes most days.

So, Eric is dying of announced-during-commercial disease? I’m not in the medical field, but I’m interested in what kills people, but starts as quasi-dementia, turns to hand tremors, & later becomes coughing blood (every single day that I watch this show over lunch, & I can handle gore, but I’m grossed-out by the constant showing of his blood-covered hankie). Literally just had the thought that maybe Luna’s oft mentioned father is going to find a cure for Eric, thus ingratiating him & his daughter, into the Forrester fold. My cable was jacked up the day Li told the Luna history, does Luna’s bio dad know about her existence?

We spread this season out, I actually didn’t realize that it was coming back so soon. I really like Muriel & kid doctor. She’s a great character, & she finally has a decent storyline. He’s pretty, & they compliment well. I’m glad she’s living out her goldenish years with a younger stud. Charmaine can go, Preacher is one of my faves, but his gotta-save-every-damsel-in-distress schtick is tiring, I still love Doc, & I love looking at Jack, so I’ll stick around, but mostly for Muriel getting her groove back.

Damn, Hope, with that thumb suck. ThomAss sure has awakened the sexual side of that girl. When he threw her against that desk…I know it’s so wrong, but they’re so flipping hot. I love that Brooke is all grossed-out by office sex. To be clear, I am, too, but I’ve never nailed my way through all of the men in a family, in that very room I'm aghast that my daughter is banging in.

TN is SO much better on non-Romaric scenes. His scenes & dialogue today with Deacon were funny, I thought, anyway. Deacon: I have a black belt in karate, I can damn well control Sheila. Finn: Control Sheila, Deacon? What’re you gonna do, use your nunchucks? 🤣🤣 Kinda funny that he threw in that she could return to Genoa City. I’d trade her for Sally.

Bravo on the creative storyline. Sadly, it’s 100% more well-plotted, more creative, & better written, than what we’ll actually see.

Luna’s mom is Li’s sister, meaning Li is Luna’s aunt, & Finn is her cousin. No idea why that’s explosive. Speaking of Finn, I’m hoping that he can get discounted life insurance as the Liberty Biberty guy, Deacon’s gonna need it. 😏

If Li & Finn are involved in killing Sheila, it’ll have to be Li that does the legwork. She had the balls to let Sheila die in the ER, it was idiot Finn who insisted on saving her. I’d love to have a reveal ~ reminiscent of the Honey Bears reveal, where we thought Eric was playing racquetball, but he was really banging Donna ~ where Li & $Bill have been seeing each other in secret for months. I was so glad Bill was back Friday, but such a waste to spend the day with Waffles, Jr.’s lady problems. Good to see him, nonetheless. Poor RJ, how gross up see your aunt & grandpa sucking face. Also gross to know your sister & brother are having sex. He’s so going to grow up & fall for Taylor. Literally can’t think of any other female on-cast, that he isn’t biologically-related to. Paris, I guess.

I probably mistyped when I said Sheila is an “exciting” character. A better word would’ve been “unpredictable”, which is good on this show. Who was surprised when Liam kissed Steffy after seeing the Thope kiss? No one. Who was surprised that Sheila cut off her toe? I don’t know about anyone else, but that was unexpected to me. I also think that every show needs a good baddie, who doesn’t get watered-down. How boring would this show be if it was all good guys, Hope, Finn, etc.? They’d even like us to believe that Ridge is a good guy, as well as Waffles. Jr. Sheila is an unrepentant baddie, she owns it, I just think that her brand of crazy ~ again, in much smaller doses than we’ve had the last few years ~ is not the worst thing. Watching today, though, I’d guess Sheila’s days are numbered, on this go-around. Steffy can’t return as long as Sheila is around Finn. Sheila isn’t going away from Finn voluntarily, so I’m betting that she leaves, ambiguously, to bring JMW back from maternity leave. I’m betting 6 more weeks of Sheila, give or take. She’ll be back in the future, but I’m guessing she’ll be off-canvas for a while very soon.

It’s so odd, RJ is the only biological child of - as gross as it is - THE legacy couple of B&B. How does he have nothing to do, besides stick his nose in each of his sister’s bidness?? Give the kid something to do. Sheila just can’t help herself. I can’t understand how she’s a mastermind at getting around all of the fantastic security that each of the Forresters have in place, 🙄 but can’t keep her shadow out of Steffy’s line of vision. I don’t hate her, I think she’s an exciting character to watch, in small doses, & if she’d permanently take down Ridge or Liam, I’d forgive another year of her, but it’s not feasible that she’s still in town at this point. She should take a break & come back in a few years. Small doses are best.

I just watched yesterday’s episode, & it might be too early in the morning. When Liam said “hello, John”, or whatever be said, I rewound, & thought that SC had called Finn by his real-life name, & they didn’t catch it in editing. Legit forgot that Finn’s real name is John, even Leigh & Steffy call him Finn. It’s like Jax on General Hospital, who was called “Jax”, during his wedding vows, & also by his own mother (who had the last name Jax).

I really don’t want Hope with Liam (spellcheck changed his name to “loan”, which is pretty applicable) or Thomas, but, today, I was 100% Team Thomas. Doltface Liam needed to hear those truths, rather than how wrong Hope was to kiss Thomas, & how Liam is the victim, & how they love each other so much that they should reunite. Bullshit. He cheated on her multiple times, had a WTD scare with her stepsister, & married another woman hours after Hope broke up with him. Why are they trying to make fetch happen with Liam?? Thomas isn’t in any position to judge anyone, but I’m glad that someone - anyone - pointed out what Liam has put Hope through. It infuriates me that Liam doesn’t admonish Wyatt for that heifer who started the entire thing, by posing as PhoeBeth’s bio mom (I know she wasn’t the brains behind the scheme, but it never would’ve happened without her help, & she’s totally accepted now). I am at the point where I absolutely hate Liam, even more than I hate Ridge; I hate his smug condescension, I hate his refusal to forgive Hope for a far smaller transgression than she’s forgiven him for, multiple times, & most of all, I hate that he’s on every damn day, without a single day break. I’m certain that hating their main guy isn’t what the writers want, but I don’t see how he can be fixed without a long break, at this point. He sucks, I hate him, & it’s only Monday, which means 4 more days of him. Happy last official week of summer, from me, Suzy Sunshine! 😏

2 observations today: 1. If Eric is looking for his desk stapler, perhaps he should check Steffy’s place-of-business, Eric’s chaise. Girlfriend hasn’t moved off of it in weeks, she just parades her guests right to her, they plop down on the opposite end, declare their undying love for her, & leave. Surely she’s leaving on maternity leave soon. 2. The actress playing Hope, AN, I think, is a very pretty cryer. When I cry, it’s all red eyes, crimson nose, pink lips, & smeared makeup. Hope just stands there, looking perfect. I’m kinda jealous.

Today was damn good soap. So much so that I can’t believe I’m about to type the following words. Today, I appreciated the flashbacks. Typically, I despise them, but, today, it all worked. Seeing, again, the Lope anguish at losing Beth, followed by Douglas telling Liam about PhoeBeth, Liam holding her as Beth for the first time, followed by Hope finding out, then the Liam/Thomas Wrestlemamia brawl on the roof, & finally, Hope being reunited with Beth. Geez, I’m crying again just typing it. Everyone was just so good in those scenes, & it was nice to feel the Lope love for a minute. I don’t care what he’s spouting right now, Liam never has & never will love Steffy like he loves Hope. Not even a race. He has fun with Steffy, but he deeply loves Hope. I still think they should be separated for a while, but those relationships aren’t comparable. I could still really use a break from Liam, for a few days, but, damn, SC was good today. I got misty-eyed right along with him, when he talked about losing Beth, & Douglas playing hero. He’s also 100% right about Thomas keeping that information away from Hope for his benefit, & if I was Liam, I’d hate Thomas for life, too (I’d actually start with that heifer my brother is with, then move on to Thomas, but I digress). However, Hope is also 100% right, in that Liam has always kept Steffy in his back pocket, & Hope has forgiven Liam for far bigger betrayals, whereas Liam just can’t. I wish they’d have had Liam reflect on what Hope was truly saying, rather than having him he completely back in love with Steffy, instantly, but today was a good reminder that Liam/SC really can be good, given the material.

@Waldo13, Finn went to visit Steffy, & ask her to come home. She declined. Then, Liam went over to Eric’s, to declare his love for Steffy, the greatest love in his life this week, in case she didn’t know. She was in black sleepwear/lingerie, & he passionately kissed her cheek, seriously. She asked him to leave, & he Eeyored his way to the door. Ridge loves Brooke, & drew a dress for her, possibly a wedding dress, but I was eating chips & salsa for lunch, which is messy, so I had to pay attention, & probably missed a few details.

When Taylor encouraged Steffy to try to work things out with Finn, I was hoping that maybe at least the Taylor part of Braylor has learned & grown from the experience, & doesn’t want her daughter to waste her life on a man that’ll never truly commit to her or Hope. Time will tell, but I didn’t hate Taylor yesterday, for the first time in a while, & I’d love to see that she’s seeing the TOD II with fresh eyes.

It was so weird how Community Peen kept burrowing over to Khloe, on the couch, & she kept inching away from him, visibly uncomfortable. Finally she had to literally say “spaghetti arms, this is my dance space…” That dude is working hardcore to get back on that money train.

I’d be cool with Liam moving out of the planet. I feel you, Douglas. You’re twice the man Liam could ever be.

Ridge lecturing anyone on anything to do with relationships, is just ridiculous. Finn does need to buck up & cut Sheila, but Ridge needs to look in the mirror, & after he gets past that hair, look at the man he sort of is. Liam 100% proved Hope right today, telling Steffy that he’s had to push down his love for her, but, now, that they’re both available, he doesn’t have to hide it! She probably hasn’t even had time for a shower, since leaving her husband, & here Liam is planning their next wedding. Honestly, if Steffy leaves Finn, for real, she, Liam, & Kelly are in far more danger, because Finn will be heartbroken, & Mama Bear Sheila will be out for literal blood. I’m not even going to touch Brooke’s hair today, especially since no one else did, either. 🙃

I could really use a break from Liam. He’s on every day, going on about how much he loves Steffy. I actually liked Steam, back in the day, but I always felt like Steffy was the fun choice, & Hope was Liam’s real love. Steffy’s literally still wearing her wedding ring, & Liam is holding her hands, promising that he’ll never let her go, again, if she gives him another chance. He’s gotten to the point of gross obsession. Sheila needs to work on her aim, & take him out. I do feel better, knowing how different I am from Liam. I legit love my husband, legit, but if he slept with my dad/mom, especially if that resulted in a DNA test, on a child that I’m claiming, I would beat Hope’s record of divorce papers in 8 hours. Truth. As I was watching today, I was thinking that Sinn is the longest lasting couple on this show, without a break (save for their shootings), forever. They’ve been together like 3+ years. I honestly can’t think of another couple that’s stayed together, that long, without breaking up. Maybe Queric, I can’t remember, but that’d be the only competition.

Finn calling Liam “you little PUKE!” was the best thing on this show since the weeklong Thope sexytimes. Liam, little puke, is completely right, & completely wrong. Finn defending Sheila is what’s currently putting his marriage at risk, but, Liam has kissed Finn’s wife, twice, without either of them telling anyone except Wyatt. They’re keeping secrets, which is also a huge issue in the Sinn marriage. TN is so much better I’m non-romantic scenes.

Wow, she sure popped fast. Wasn’t it like a month ago that she had to Sharpie a sign, to tell a totally unaware Travis, mid-concert, that she was pregnant? So crazy that maybe a month ago, her husband, who likely sees her every single day, either in-person, or via FaceTime, didn’t even know that she was pregnant, & now, a month later, she looks like she’s hitting her 3rd trimester. A lot can change in a month. 🙄

I’ve honestly wondered if Finn is pulling a $Bill, & trying to gain Sheila’s trust, only to shank her when he gets the goods. Since they so recently did that story, I kinda doubt it, but these aren’t the most creative writers, so I also wouldn’t be surprised. Also, while TN is far improved in non-romance scenes, I don’t think he has the DD/$Bill charm, to believably pull it off. Are Thope in bed this week? If so, could we swap-out a few scenes of that, for a few scenes of Sheila grinning like the Cheshire Cat, or Liam harping about the danger of Sheila, or Finn, inexplicably being drawn to Sheila (posting that as someone who doesn’t mind Sheila/KB, until she eats the entire show). Thope were on every second, or being discussed every second, for weeks, & now, they’re missing for a week. Balance is the key to life.

I saw on a FB post, someone mentioned that for weeks Liam was 100% about Thomas, & the Thope kiss. Now, these last few weeks, he’s 100% about Sheila, & the Finn/Sheila connection. I hadn’t really thought about his obsession with other people he considers the Big Bads (& both are, in different ways, not denying that), & how to keep the ones he loves in that moment, safe from said-Big Bads. Little waffling weasel that he is, he’d be so bored with a normal life. Maybe that’s why he always circles back to Steffy; love her or hate her, girlfriend always has drama around her, & if not, she creates it.
