Was I the only one who thought that Quinn maybe hasn’t made up her mind yet? I agree that it sorta looks bad for Carter, but it didn’t seem to me like Quinn rushed back to Eric, like Rachel kissing her lobster, Ross, after the aborted prom video. It also makes sense that Quinn knows that if she stays with Carter, it’ll be obvious why she didn’t reunite with Eric, & Carter will lose his job, & status ~ he’s COO, in case you’ve forgotten ~ as well. I was eating lunch & trying to kennel our dogs, so I may have missed an obvious sign, but I don’t think it’s a 100% lock that Queric will reunite. Likely, yes, but I don’t think it’s a lock. No matter what, Carter has made progress; he’s been messing with Quinn for months, & he still hasn’t proposed marriage. Proud of him, although, this is by far his most passionate relationship, & I see why he’d want to lock it down. But, I’m honked at the writers. Quarter is the best thing they’ve stumbled on in years & years, & they’re just throwing it away, or so it seems. RS & LSV just light up around each other, I’d much rather watch them than Destiny, or Sinn, or Laura Ingalls & Almonzo. Now, I’ll never like either of them with anyone else, because I’ll always know what would’ve been, assuming they Queric reunite. I do like the thought, unthread, that Quinn might be carrying a little Quarter baby.

Maybe I’m giving them too much credit, but if any of them would tear their eyes away from Sheila & look in Jack’s direction, they’d know who bio-dad is as easily as we do. TK/Daddy Finn (just realized Ted King & Thorsten Kaye have the same initials) really is gifting everyone in that room a master class in acting without saying a word. About being a stan of Sinn, I’m not really a fan, so much as I’m a fan of jumping off of the TOD merry-go-round. I’ll take boring over TOD all day, every day. Is Justin still hanging out at FC, waiting on an answer from Thomas & Ridge?

For real, the very best acting in the entire episode, was TK’s Jack Finnigan, not saying a word until the very end, just reacting. Honorable mention to SF (just realized that Susan Flannery & Stephanie Forrester have the same initials!), just for being the boss lady she is, in portrait. Also, I hope Finn gets-to-the-point faster with patients, & has a better read-the-room ability than he displayed yesterday. Holy smokes, it took him the entire show to spit out the Sheila connection, to a roomful of people who were very obviously not going to be excited that Mommy Dearest is no longer unknown, & offer her champagne to celebrate. If a patient had terminal cancer, s/he’d be embalmed before Finn delivered the diagnosis, complete with cupcakes & balloons.

I totally didn’t expect Brooke to drop her glass of champagne. That was a shocker, almost as much as seeing Sheila appear, after she’s been on the commercials forever. I'm not sure when/how it happened, & I’ll admit that I detest man buns, but, damn, Thomas is hot now. Maybe the facial scruff, or said man bun, the distance from creepy behavior, or maybe because I follow him on the Insta, & he’s pretty cool, but Thomas needs some non-Hope love. He’s probably the #3 hottie on the show, after $Bill & Carter. I don’t know who he can get with, though. Not Hope, veto that. Flo is engaged, & ridiculous, he’s related to almost everyone else, Paris is likely going to cramp the Sinn marriage, he’s a legacy character/child , of a legacy character/child, of THE legacy character, bring on a new woman for him.

His grandpas aren’t faring so well on the crazy scale, either. One had a fling with his sorta sister, got red-string engaged to his sister-in-law, had a fling with his stepmom, Vegas-married the mother of the beast who helped facilitate his daughter buying a stolen baby (whole other post), incorrectly uses the word “destiny” to keep Brooke in a holding pattern for decades (also another post),& tried to pass off his son’s child as his own. The other looks to be a literal mustache-twirler, who, I presume, got Sheila pregnant, & agreed to raise the child as if he adopted him, thus sharing a decades-long secret with that crazy, by choice. Run, Hamilton Hayes, run line the wind!

I KNEW Daddy Finn was sketchy AF. It’s the mustache, it’s a dead-giveaway. The best part of the show was Ridge asking if Taylor would be there, followed by Steffy lying about “mission work”, & that horny old goat, Eric, wistfully saying “that’s too bad”, while his thought bubble was saying ‘I’d like to do some ‘missionary work’ with good old Taylor. I’m single & ready to inappropriately mingle!’

If so, I hope it turns out that he was baby-napped, & sold to the highest bidder, with no one ever spending more than a nap time in prison. Double-points if it was someone related to Shauna that kept the secret. I can only imagine the hand-wringing from our dear Felonious. If that occurs, hope Daddy Finn has a good kidney/lung/liver/retina to pass along to someone in need, who absolves him of all sin, assuming that he was involved.

^ Are you sure that’s his room inside the “stadium”? Or, is it actually his room inside the Kardashian West “compound/mausoleum”? There’s actually more decor & personality in the stadium pic than their former actual bedroom, I would presume.

My main snippy takeaway from yesterday’s episode…Ridge certainly had a lot to say about Finn wanting to get couch-married. Remind me again, Ridge, where you married Caroline II, sans any witnesses, save for an infinity pool & several rays of sunshine. Hypocrite much??

I honestly think that at least a small part of her metamorphosis is trying to look less like Alex Roldan. Mission accomplished, but she also looks nothing like she originally looked. That first pix is just him in makeup. Maybe I’m wrong, as her body has changed, too, but there’s no denying that she originally looked just like him.

@SweePea59, I love Carter & Quinn, too, so scooch over & make room for me at your table. They’re the best thing this show has stumbled upon in years (& years & years). The only thing I dislike is how they’re dumbed-down. Carter just went through a breakup, why didn’t he say he say he’d been getting Zoe’s things together to send to her, when Nosey Noserton X3 asked about the dress? I get that he was caught off guard, but his quick-thinking lawyer reflexes should’ve kicked in. Same with Quinn, she knew Zoe saw her clothes in Carter’s bedroom, why didn’t she drop her jacket in the nearest dumpster, especially since it’s late-spring/summer, but, instead, wore it to the office the very next day? Still, though, I don’t care, I never miss an episode these days, & I’ve only done that for $Bill, the Maya reveal, & early-CaRidge, so it’s been a minute. Carter/Quinn just look at each other all smoldering, like we can see their thought bubbles of wall sex float out of their heads. I really wish they’d let them go full-on sneaking around affair for several months, but I’ll take what I can get.

DD & AS just gave a master class in “breaking up” (I know it was yesterday, but I just watched as I was getting ready this morning). Holy cow, I had to dab my mascara a few times. It was a fantastic scene, & I felt the emotion of both men. As thrilled as I am for AS to finally, finally get a meaty storyline, I can’t help but wonder how he’ll be on-screen a year from now, or sooner, most likely. He big-time betrayed $Bill & kidnapped Thomas. He’s infuriated both of the show’s big families, I don’t see a way out. Donna is likely heading back to Honey Bear, so she’s out as a way of getting in, I can’t see redemption, unless Katie needs another kidney. Ooooohhhhh, or $Bill, then they kinda would be “blood brothers”. I follow Matthew Atkinson on Insta, & he’s a pretty cool dude. I wish they’d let his personality seep into Thomas like they have DD/$Bill’s.

In fairness, an unplugged salt lamp (I can’t see anything right now, in my line of vision, that’s duller than that) would shine bright next to DD. Dude is smokin’ & definitely elevates every scene partner he has. I wish they’d move him on from Batie, maybe Finn’s mom will tickle his fancy.

The 1 thing I’ll credit Zoe: she knows what’s important. Even on her last day, after just finding out that her fiancé & Insta-BFF cheated on her, she made sure to remind us that said-fiancé is COO of Forrester Creations. Priorities.

Paris should write a skincare blog. Her skin is flawless. My 40+ butt is insanely jealous.

I’m pretty sure that Caroline II had an at-home water birth with Douglas. If I recall, it was upstairs at the Forrester estate, because Thomas was roaming around downstairs, waiting/stalking, but that was before he knew that he was the bio-dad. I remember because, IRL, my son is within a month of Douglas, & I certainly didn’t look or feel like she did after birth. Maybe there’s something to water births. Quinn was so dumb to do a vow renewal with so many people who hate her, & are actively trying to end her marriage, in attendance. Nothing good comes from that. My brain is slightly crazy, but I had another thought from several months back. I’m still wondering what the benefit was to that concoction that Eric drinks, which Zoey used to ruin Zende/Paris’ night. It makes the stomach rumble like crazy, but was there a benefit? They never said anything about digestion, or probiotic benefit, I don’t understand why someone would just want to sound gassy all of the time, with no benefit. Unless I missed the explanation, it was just weird.

My favorite part of yesterday’s show ~ aside from Justin bringing it & showing acting chops I haven’t seen from him before (I actually just started regularly watching the week of Steffy’s living room tub head bonk/Insta-Liam-love) ~ was Justin casually dropping how he’s paid his dues, & $Bill’s sons just keep popping up out of nowhere & shoving him back. He’s not wrong. My prediction is that once Quarter comes out, Justin & Carter will swap jobs: Carter to Spencer, Justin to Forrester. Their personalities are opposite of those companies, but I can’t see either keeping his current job, but I can see $Bill scooping up Carter. Justin would be a harder sell, with Ridge, but who knows??

Am I the only one who wondered how Vinnie sent a video to Thomas after he died? It wasn’t Facebook live, & if I remember correctly, he said “Vinnie out”, & committed suicide, on camera (we even heard Liam’s/$Bill’s dialogue after hitting him) in the least believable way possible. So, how did he send it to Thomas, when he was dead? Also, how did he know that being run over would kill him? Sometimes, people survive that, it’s just ridiculous all the way around. The one gem is seeing more Justin, finally. I still think they should’ve hooked him up with Sally, but at least he’s temporarily on-screen more. I can’t see how his character continues after this, but we’ll see.

My husband & I met at work, & got married while we were still coworkers, over a decade ago. I assure you, through hanging out, dating, being engaged, planning a wedding, & welcoming 2 babies, we collectively didn’t discuss our relationship as much as Zoe/Shauna/Quarter/Quiric is discussed, nor did either set of our coworkers (different parts of the same company). So, so weird. Agree on Flo’s dress (?). It’s like a wrap with a missing shoulder, slapped together in 2 different, non-coordinated prints, for no apparent reason. On that note, with all of Wyatt’s snooping over $Bill & Liam, we were denied seeing him find out that his hunch was correct about a secret, & they had a hand in Vinny’s death. Thank God, we were allowed to see Zoe tell Carter that his night with Shauna still bothers her, even though, she would’ve nailed Zende on Carter’s rooftop weight bench, given the chance. Great use of time there. I’ll say it again, I hope/wish they’d have Quarter continue as a steamy affair. We haven’t had 1 in so long, & they’re legit hot, together & individually. I fear that it’s over, with Paris overhearing, but I wish they’d revisit them being a naughty secret.

There is nothing less romantic than talking sex to death. Ugh, when Liam was going on about “making love” to Hope, instead of just trying to be romantic/seductive, I wanted to hurl, however, I didn’t want to leave the room, just in case Brooke sneaked in & opened the condom wrapper, as I suspected. Disappointing that she didn’t, she could’ve used her checkered flag skirt for the better good. Restrictions are apparently over in BelLA, you’re back to touching & kissing, don’t tell her about touching & kissing her, touch & kiss her! Dude should watch Quarter to see how it’s done. But, anyone know where I can get that orange cake recipe? It sounds refreshing, totally not kidding.

If you’d have told me a month ago that I’d be as into the show as I am now, I would’ve laughed. I haven’t consistently gone home for lunch in months. Since Quarter started, I come home for lunch, every day, so that I can watch, & enjoy, interrupted. Who would’ve guessed that they’d reinvigorate the whole show?? It’s even an umbrella story. Plus, they both look like they’re enjoying the storyline. That Quinn is a wildcat. Damn, Zoe ruins everything.

Carter's & Quinn's outfits were pretty ok, though. ;-) I'm legit excited about them. I hope they're naughty FWBs all summer.

So, I was way off on my date guess, but I'm not mad. I didn't take into account that it's Carter, & he moves fast. He'll probably propose by Tuesday. ;-) Having said that...damn! That's the hottest scene this show has had in ages. I truly can't remember the last time the show was so saucy, even pre-COVID. Still, maybe? That was like 4 years ago. Wall sex? Shoulder kissing? Carter, I didn't know you had it in you. It was what I was hoping, delicious, naughty, hot, it was an elicit affair, or at least the beginning of one. Now, Paris is totally going to walk in & catch them. I hope they sneak around for awhile, I'm thinking an affair like the Phlick (on Y&R) original affair. It was what I hope Carter & Quinn turn into.
