  1. Dear lord why is it such a big deal to her that they had sex? Doesn't she try to portray herself as someone that is very sexual experienced?
  2. As usual these days I could barely get through any of this episode but Ashley suggesting that Chase would propose on the trip, like could they be any more obvious that the proposal was a scripted event? Even Whitney suggested how ludicrous a proposal would be. Does Whit realize how pathetic this show makes her look? I wouldn't be able to show my face in public if a show made me look like Whit but I guess we already know she is incapable of feeling shame.
  3. Don't like a lot of office jobs require you to be able to lift 40 pounds as a basic requirement?
  4. Buddy literally assaulted a police officer and was charged with a felony for it so I don't know what you mean by "not that bad".
  5. Yeah, a drama whoring, delusional, clingy narcissist with serious boundary, self-control, hygiene issues and serious hints of an addictive personality paired with lazy, equally messy barely employable drug addict with anger issues. Frankly they deserve each other, the people that will inevitably have to deal with the wake they leave behind do not.
  6. "pricey, but beautiful!" then links to a wholesale only shop. I doubt that Whit has any custom expensive pieces so like 5 minutes of searching https://society6.com/product/panda-orange_credenza?sku=s6-3738055p79a226v783a227v785 Yeah, it's a $500 assemble yourself cabinet with a printed graphic, presumably vinyl. Don't go passing that off as some sort of custom and expensive only to the trade piece.
  7. Well, I got 7 minutes in, that is enough of this garbage. But just to clarify, they met the parents within a couple of weeks ago, they just said I love you to each other, Whitney is concerned about how their relationship is going to progress because they barely spend any time together and... They are about to jet off to Paris to get engaged... Yeah, either way Whit is a giant idiot, either she has fooled herself into this absolute bullshit or she thinks she is bright enough to fool other people into thinking she is not an idiot.
  8. Just started to try to get through a much of this episode as possible but this was the episode thumbnail and while I am sure it is just a Hulu algorithm that chose it I want to believe that TLC did.
  9. OK, I'm just going to put this here because I don't know where else to... TLC is running promos for 'The road to the ring!" for Whit. I guess stupidly, I thought was Whit was being an idiot and while it was a completely unreasonable time frame from meeting to engagement, particularly given how little actual time they seem to spent together for the show, that we are just seeing a truncated version of their relationship but there must be other stuff going out outside the show. Are they actually going to do a meeting to engagement in one season of this show filmed over a couple of months?
  10. I'm just offended by how cheaply made the dress looks and I doubt the construction will hold up given that it looks to be about two sizes too small for her.
  11. That's an AD? She looks like a sausage wrapped in cheaper material.
  12. Actually I get this, I have been reality show adjacent several times and what they do for production at the best of times is vulgar. Best of times. You wouldn't believe the behavior I witnessed at a charity event I attended a few years ago by a reality show pretending to be supporting them. Which is to say, I wouldn't touch a reality show with a 10-foot pole, a couldn't risk it professionally even if one of my best friends asked me to do it and I'm not high profile at all professionally.
  13. I just want to circle back because I feel, perhaps irrationally angry about this. I'm a very openly gay man, professionally and personally, I'm married to another man. Myself and my husband and I suspect Tal growing up in the south and not conforming to the hyper-masculine "ideals" went through a LOT OF SHIT being who we are and feeling like we finally get to live our authentic selves, it's baggage we have to deal with to this day, that we will probably take with us through our entire lives. I guess this really hit a nerve because I've touched on in the past that Whit's obsession with "bro-ness" and the entitlement and hyper masculinity that goes with it and her first reaction after coming back from her "bro" party is to call her out and proud gay male, professional, young, educated "friend" an old woman for keeping a house and putting out a completely normal spread out for guests is just profoundly insulting and speaks a lot about her character. Grow the fuck up Whitney, Tal is not an old woman for acting like a fucking adult, out, queer man, you are just a loser obsessed with exalting toxic masculinity. Good luck with that.
  14. OK, I don't think I'm going to make it through this episode but how exactly is Tal acting like a Golden Girl? Because he is an old single woman living in a house in Florida serving cheesecake? Because he is literally none of those things. She is pretty much just insulting his queerness because he is throwing an adult party unlike the bro bros bro bro bro bro bros that she is an a bro with bro-ly.
  15. Just double checking, this is the 35 year old worried about her father's ability to use stairs, correct?
  16. Whitney included! I always thought she implied No Body Shame was some sort of charity, she always intended on profiting off of it but she has done basically nothing to develop the brand. She doesn't appear to solicit public speaking gigs or consulting contracts, she has never really done anything with merchandising, it seems like anything to do with her and her "brand" that has had any success whatsoever is when someone else is doing all the work and she just shows up, e.g. the cruises.
  17. Again, people fall down stairs, especially when carrying things. Young, health, able bodied people trip, take a misstep, suffer temporary vertigo, my husband fell and broke his shoulder because of a bee. Yes, falling down stairs can be a symptom of a serious medical condition and underlying medical conditions should be considered, especially with older people, but also sometimes people just fall, our ability to remain upright is really complex and remarkable even though we take it for granted. Also to further add, Glen and Babs appear to be healtly, active older adults that can afford and almost certainly regularly access high quality medical care. Context is everything. It would be one thing if they did not have regular health screenings and the fall could point to undiagnosed medical conditions, if Glen hadn't seen a doctor in years and was concerned about his ability to pay for or otherwise access care.
  18. Whit's desporation for marriage is not a good look on her, especially since she doesn't seem to comprehend the concept of compromise. I love my husband with all my heart but our decision to get married was as much practical as it was an expression of love. We lived together, our finances were already completely intertwined, we both have conservative parents, our marriage was as much about protecting ourselves in a climate that does not always extend the same courtesies to gay couples as it does straight ones in clearly committed relationships. We ended up taking a hyphenated name in large part because I didn't want one of us ending up in a hospital somewhere not as accepting of gay relationships and one of us having to argue that we were in fact legal spouses with all the legal rights and responsibilities that come with that in one of the worst moments of our lives. This is not all fun and games, I've seen enough relationships explode to understand the gravity of what Whit is acting like is a fun next step in a relationship and she should have too by her age.
  19. Also maybe Todd has a life? If I remember correctly for at least a few seasons Todd was living full time in NYC and flying back to be part of the show, even though they were heavily implying he lived locally and had been a constant presence in Whit's life.
  20. As far as what we have seen in the past the show dictates what she posts on social media as far as spoiler about and upcoming plotlines like dress shopping. And fat dress shopping will surely be a plot line for her to get on a soap box about. I'm guessing they will let Pnina Tornai out of her cage in the basement of Kleinfeld to design her the spandex "sexy" wedding dress of her dreams.
  21. Glenn wears such a device, a cellular enabled Apple Watch. I'm young-ish, late 30s and also wear a cellular Apple Watch because I work in social services and having an easy way to easily dial 911 gives me tremendous piece of mind given that I regularly interact with volatile people and to walk around an open campus.
  22. I'm honestly confused by how obsessed Whit is with Chase and Ryan's "bro-ness" and what seems to be sincere titillation by being "bro" adjacent or even being an honorary "bro". As far as I can tell in this context "bro" means hyper-masculine puffery, entitlement and inconsiderate behavior almost revered as "Boys will be boys!". All of these people are like 30, none of this alleged "bro"ness seems like desirable qualities to want to spend time around unless you are drunk and trying to get fucked.
  23. Bro. Bro, Bro. Bro. Bro, bro, bro. Bro! Bro. Bro, bro, bro! Bro. Bro. Bro. Bro, Bro. Bro. Bro, bro, bro. Bro! Bro. Bro, bro, bro! Bro. Bro. Bro. Bro, Bro. Bro. Bro, bro, bro. Bro! Bro. Bro, bro, bro! Bro. Bro. Bro. Bro, Bro. Bro. Bro, bro, bro. Bro! Bro. Bro, bro, bro! Bro. Bro. Bro. Bro, Bro. Bro. Bro, bro, bro. Bro! Bro. Bro, bro, bro! Bro. Bro. Bro. Bro, Bro. Bro. Bro, bro, bro. Bro! Bro. Bro, bro, bro! Bro. Bro. Bro. Bro, Bro. Bro. Bro, bro, bro. Bro! Bro. Bro, bro, bro! Bro. Bro. Bro. Bro, Bro. Bro. Bro, bro, bro. Bro! Bro. Bro, bro, bro! Bro. Bro. Bro. Bro, Bro. Bro. Bro, bro, bro. Bro! Bro. Bro, bro, bro! Bro. Bro. Bro. Bro, Bro. Bro. Bro, bro, bro. Bro! Bro. Bro, bro, bro! Bro. Bro. Bro. Bro, Bro. Bro. Bro, bro, bro. Bro! Bro. Bro, bro, bro! Bro. Bro. Bro. Bro. Bro. Bro, Bro. Bro. Bro, bro, bro. Bro! Bro. Bro, bro, bro! Bro. Bro. Bro. Bro, Bro. Bro. Bro, bro, bro. Bro! Bro. Bro, bro, bro! Bro. Bro. Bro. Bro, Bro. Bro. Bro, bro, bro. Bro! Bro. Bro, bro, bro! Bro. Bro. Bro. Bro, Bro. Bro. Bro, bro, bro. Bro! Bro. Bro, bro, bro! Bro. Bro. Bro.
  24. Glen wears a cellular enabled Apple Watch and I doubt it's because he goes for long runs sans phone so I'm pretty sure this is just played up for the TV.
  25. And there is absolutely no reason to believe that they have particular medical impairments. Bab's appears to have recovered very well from her stroke, which is a thing that happens, many people have strokes, make a full recovery or close to one and never have a stroke again. And young people can have strokes too. Does Whit know that two of the major risk factors of strokes is smoking and obesity? And honey you aren't too hot at taking stairs either. Also people fall down stairs! It's a thing that happens sometimes for plenty of completely innocuous reasons, especially when doing things like carrying plates of food.
