So am I. Especially since i saw this person's Facebook page as recently as last week, not to mention that she is also all over LinkedIn, so don't believe the stories about her deleting her social media presence when Shannon announced the affair.

There is no confirmation of who she actually is. There is just an anonymous commenter posting her name on articles about the affair. That's why no one is naming her here. Because if the person that the commenter is accusing isn't actually the woman that David had an affair with, no one wants to be responsible for giving the rumor legs and screwing up her marriage and family, not to mention her professional reputation.

Oh man, I really hope we aren't ruining someone's name by outing them if it isn't the right person. i am all for gossip, but if this woman isn't the person David had an affair with, I feel really bad for her having her name associated with this all because of a rumor.

In her blog, Shannon says it is because of a sinus surgery she had years ago:

Wait, I thought Shannon's kids were 11 and 13? I assumed it was the 13 year old who was at the sleep over. Did I miss something because I thought it was only the one daughter who went to a sleep over and got hurt tp-ing the house? And since it was the one, I just assumed it was the 13 year old because David would have specified the twins otherwise. ETA: Sorry for the confusion, I am just trying to figure out where this notion of 10 year olds running the streets of the OC in the middle of the night came from.

I agree. I also suspect that Kathy feels she has to cover for Kim because of guilt. Kathy partied with Kim and probably had a hand in introducing her to the scene. Let's not forget her and Rick's friendship with Rick James. So, she probably feels responsible as an older sister who introduced Kim to this lifestyle. Or, Kim manipulates her into feeling that way. I wouldn't be surprised if Kim had thrown the fact that she partied with Kathy in Kathy's face a time or two.

I think her family has had all of the wake up calls they could possibly need. Now they are trying the tough love approach because it is the only recourse they have left. Until Kim wants to get sober, there is nothing her family can do.

I actually understood what the therapist was saying. David and Shannon were not equipped to discuss the affair between just the two of them. They need a third party when they discuss it together and they need to discuss it separately with a counselor or therapist. It makes perfect sense when you consider how the two of them communicate with each other. The two of them just discussing with each other would only serve to reinforce the anger, guilt, and negativity that they are trying to move past.

She won't be able to go 30 seconds without swearing so she is going to end up in contempt before her opening statements are done.

I think the reason Vicki doesn't harp on Brianna is because Brianna DOES work. She is working as an ER nurse in OK.

I'm starting to wonder if there is more to this. Vicki didn't want Brooks to film, but was told that she would lose the gig if he didn't. If Brooks is legitimately sick, it is quite possible that neither Vicki or Brooks could actually get legitimate doctors/hospital staff to film with them. It's not like they could actually say, the doctor thought it would be unethical to film. And, since Vicki said all of that stuff about not being there when he was ill in a talking head, it actually makes sense that she would have them film something else instead.Plus, Brooks may not have wanted his vomiting documented. I am not trying to be an apologist for either of them. I just think that when it comes to a deathly illness, people tend to decide what they want to share. Vicki would probably love nothing more than to share pictures of Brooks in all of his various treatments ala Yolanda of Beverly Hills, but so much of that is not Vicki's decision. Even if she found doctors that were willing to film, there is no way to know that BRAVO chose not to show it in order to keep this is he or isn't he sick story line going. But, IMO Vicki would love nothing more than to have a legit doctor say on film that Brooks is sick. It would make her look so much more like the woman she views herself as.

I am not saying that Vicki wasn't horrible. I am just saying that she raised two horrible children as well. And the marriage to Ryan was ill advised as he was already married when the two of them started dating. Also, for all of Brianna's claims of not wanting a traditional wedding. She sure as hell didn't say no to Vicki footing the bill for one. Also, I heard that recording where Brooks supposedly said that Ryan should beat Brianna. That shit was so obviously set up. Brooks was drunk off his ass and Ryan was leading him to say what he wanted Brooks to say. Of course we all had issues with Brooks. But, I am pretty sure that everyone and I do mean everyone who has/had problems with Brooks also accepted that Vicki was an adult who could make her own decisions about who she wanted in her life. And none of the audience tried to use Vicki's affection as leverage in that argument. As for how many times Brianna didn't do what she wanted? Please.Brianna made the choice to acquiesce to Vicki because she knew that she could always blame Vicki if things didn't turn out the way she wanted. Their relationship has always been mutually needy and narcisstic. Brianna is a mini Vicki. And as a member of a military family, I am very much aware of PTSD and it's affects. I am saying that there was no mention of PTSD until after Ryan's gleeful attack on Lydia's mother caused such an extreme backlash that Vickit took Brianna on a vacation out of the country to avoid dealing with it. Ryan may very well suffer from PTSD. And I don't begrudge him getting help. But, his smugness at knowing that he was in the right had nothing to do with extreme emotional stress. He was enjoying himself as he tried to proclaim that it was his house and only catching himself at the last minute. And then, they way Brianna joyfully backed him up in all of her drunken glory. The both of them obviously felt like they were somehow in the right and were going to show that old lady who was boss. So, yeah, Ryan may have PTSD, but how do you explain Brianna?

If he truly did get help, I agree that he deserves credit. I am still not sure that his blow up at Lydia's mom had anything whatsoever to do with PTSD, since he seemed to be really enjoying railing at her and Brianna seemed to really enjoy backing him up on it. I think both Ryan and Brianna were drunk and believed themselves to be in the right. It wasn't until the backlash that they came up with the PTSD diagnosis. As for Brianna and Vicki's relationship. Yes Vicki is a total narcissist, but I never got the impression that Brianna felt especially under her control. Both Brianna and Micheal seemed to humor Vicki when they could, take advantage of her when they wanted to, and ignore her when they didn't need her for anything. In short, I feel like Vicki's narcissism was inherited by both Brianna and Michael. So, I guess I never really saw either of them as victims who needed to escape Vicki. I always saw them as two selfish people who used their mother when they needed to and poked fun at her when it suited them. And I think that Brianna especially took advantage of Vicki's neediness. She knew that Vicki would do anything to keep Brianna from with holding affection, so she had no problem springing her ill advised marriage on her. She had no problem telling Vicki who she should be dating. She had no problem moving her new husband into her mother's house and letting him dictate the rules.

You're right! I totally forgot how she was the victim of her mom. I also left out that she was the victim of her parents divorce when she was 25. Also she was the victim of Lizzie because even though she posted Lizzie's private number on Facebook, Lizzie was obsessed with her.

Of course, Tamra is blaming Sarah. She accused Ryan's first DV victim/girlfriend of looking for her 15 minutes of fame. What's crazy to me is that Tamra is constantly setting herself up as the victim. Even though she played Simon and Ryan against each other, she was the victim stuck in the middle. Even though she played Simon and Vicki against each other, she was the victim stuck in the middle. She humiliates her husband on television with her behavior and causes him to lose his job, and she is the victim of Simon not being able to support the family. She refuses to clean up her act at on screen, and she is the victim of Simon's controlling behavior. Simon won't sign the consent to allow his minor children on screen without him there to protect them, and she is the victim because he just won't move on. Simon allegedly threw a leash at her and Jeana believes Simon's side, so Tamra is the victim of both Jeanna and Simon. But, when there are actual victims - The prior girlfriend and now the Baby Mama, it was something that was blown out of proportion. Suddenly, Ryan is the victim of Sarah. Because Ryan, who got drunk and allegedly assaulted Sarah, is in tears and just wants to be with his child. Now Ryan is the victim because Tamra needs that grand baby to round out her story line. Tamra raised Ryan to be the perpetual victim of these horrible women who were willing to sleep with him. The same way she has made herself the victim of the men who were willing to sleep with her. I wonder how she will spin her divorce from Eddie? Unlike Simon, Eddie has kept his appearance on the show fairly limited. But, I bet anything that she is reviewing footage with production to make sure there is enough "unseen footage" to make Eddie the bad guy.

Ahh, so they will eventually come home to find Kim squatting at their house. I wonder if she will have Kingsley there with her.

I agree. I think if what Shannon said on WWHL is true, the others only knew a short while before she found out. So, Terry's treatment of David was more about envy than anything else. Heather and Terry wanted to be the richest couple on the show. The envy they had over David and Shannon's house, complete with a basketball court, shined right through and made Terry and Heather feel less than. When they were the ones used to making others feel less than. The fact that David and Shannon never even thought of it as a competition was just salt in the wound for them.

If Lauri has custody, I fear for that child. Because, look what she did to Josh. She exploited her son's addiction for a story line while avoiding any responsibility in the fact that she was too busy looking for a wallet to parent her child(ren). This poor kid has about as good a chance as Josh did.

I never think of Ryan as a good kid. I always think of him as damaged. Which isn't his fault. His mother abandoned him twice in his childhood and he has spent the majority of his life trying to please her so it doesn't happen again. But, even if I could think of him as a good but damaged kid, his decision to accost a drunken Gretchen in the bathroom of all places, was his own. That wipes away good kid for me. But he is there for his mom. He turned on his own dad when the man had the nerve to tell the real story of his divorce from Tamra. Tamra blamed her suicide attempt on her ex divorcing her. Until then, he never commented on Tamra. But, she crossed a line in her bid for sympathy, so he told what happened. Tamra cheated, he divorced her, then she dropped Ryan off with him saying that she needed time to herself. Of course, she used that time to hook up with Simon. Ryan came to Tamra's defense by saying Simon was a better father to him than his own father. Of course, once Tamra's spin off was done, and she was done with her second redemption tour, it's time to go back to painting Simon as a monster and Ryan is towing the line. I remember while Tamra was preparing for her spin off, she had nothing but nice things to say about Simon's girlfriend and how wonder the girlfriend was with the kids. Once the spin off was done, Tamra was getting into shouting matches with the girlfriend in front of the press. I think that Tamra is a user and she raised Ryan to be one too. I think that their support of each other is based on what benefits either of them the most at any given time. Ryan realizes that he can't support one kid let alone four. Tamra realizes she really needs to make this "new Tamra 3.0" a thing and what better way to do that than to bring Ryan and his new baby back to OC for a kinder gentler Tamra story line?

I personally think her thread should stay simply because for better or worse she was on the show. We can't have threads for Joyce and Taylor and not have a thread for Brandi just because she is no longer on the show. Whether or not people want to use the thread to bash or not, I don't like the idea of getting rid of her thread because it would be kind of like pretending that she was never on the show. I'm fine with pretending that for the sake of going back to enjoying the show, but I don't want to rewrite the history of the show by getting rid of her thread. ETA: To put it another way. I LOVE RHNY. I love the show so much that I had to make a conscious decision to stop posting on those threads because they are so negative that they diminish my enjoyment of the actual show. I am sure plenty of people feel like Brandi diminished their enjoyment of BH, but I would never ask that any of the NY threads be taken down. I just don't read those threads.

Wow. Brandi can't seem to keep even her recently published lies straight. She originally said that Kyle sent her a cease and desist and went on and on about how you can't sue your cast mates. Now she is saying that it was Mauricio that sent it, which I always figured was the actual case because it was his business that she was trying to slander.

While I would totally agree that Kyle is not bright AT ALL. I don't know about the not growing and gaining self awareness part. When I look at it in terms of relationships, I think that she does grow and she is aware of how her behavior impacted that relationship. She had issues with Camille, but was the first person to reach out to her after the divorce. She had issues with Brandi, but continually reached out to her again and again even if it was just to keep things civil between the two of them. She and Lisa V had a major falling out and are not in a much better place because they were able to let go of the hurtful things they each did to each other. So, I do think she is capable of growth and has even shown growth in many ways. It's just not in the way that someone with more intelligence or even plain ol' common sense would.

I had all of my bridesmaids wear black at my wedding 11 years ago. I have never been a fan of pastels so black and white was the way to go for me.
