  1. Zoeysmom, I have a question about this part of your post: I didn't watch the interview, but has Kathryn been vicious towards Faye? That one confrontation left me thinking that Kathryn pretty much got owned by TMCFR. Have there been other instances that I missed where she was vicious towards her? I love me some LisV, but even I will admit that she was much more vicious towards Faye than anyone else - not that I mind since I don't have any love at all for Faye Resnick.
  2. There was no glass thrusting. It simply did not happen. Kim was too far away for the glass breaking to have any effect on her and Rinna dropped the glass after breaking it. Kim kicked in Rinna's direction more than once in that limo ride. I don't know if Hulu is showing the full scene but my dvr shows Kim kicking very clearly.
  3. Since she has continued to earn a living and has a family and manages to film the show, I'm pretty sure she has plenty going on. It's too bad that out of the many hours of filming, BRVO only chooses to show us the few seconds of conversation where she talks about the other women. One of the things I really hate about BRAVO is that they are always wrong when they decide what the central story should be. There shouldn't be a central story. We should be seeing what these women's lives are about, even if it means they don't interact with each other all tha much. Seriously, how much more fun would it be to follow the actresses to work and the see them interact with their actual family and friends? It would also be amazing to see how many "famous" or infamous people they interact with that they simply consider friends. I guess I can't actually blame BRAVO though. I blame Andy Cohen. He seems to delight in pitting the women against each other. So grand arguments come out of the minutiae of contractually mandated interactions - and even when there is genuine fun and entertainment from those interactions, the audience only finds them through online clips and lost footage episodes. The women seem to film everything with no idea of what will actually air. They film their talking head interviews after filming wraps and they are responding to specific questions - but have no say in when or how that talking head will be used to boost the drama of the story line. Bravo created a fluff show that was supposed to be a comedy based on the foibles of women with way more money than sense. Andy turned it into a tired soap in which every tiny onscreen gaffe could be mined for ultimate dramatic effect- bolstered by a soundtrack and strategically placed talking head interviews.
  4. Don't forget Taylor also told each woman not to tell any of the others what she had told them. So when they got together at the tea party and had a chance to compare notes, that was when Camille had had enough and put it out there. LisaR never assaulted Kim. If reaching for Kim's chin is assault then certainly Kim's kicking at a perfectly still Rinna in a confined space also constitutes assault, and I don't think anyone has said Kim assaulted Rinna on poker night.
  5. I think it's an inherited thing. Kim, Paris, Nicky, and Kyle all have a wonky eye. I've never looked at enough photos of Kathy to see if she also has one, but it seems to be pretty much all over that family.
  6. I feel like there are some things being glossed over here. The women were never clear on whether or not Russel was abusing Taylor because Taylor's story kept changing. Part of Camille's big reveal of her "now I've said it" was because Taylor had been telling different stories to the women separately. That tea party was the first time they could all compare notes on what Taylor had said and and when Taylor tried to backtrack, Camille called her out. It wasn't until the end that the women just accepted that what Taylor was saying was true because they had no proof that she was lying. The domestic violence lunch was because it was Taylor's charity and at that lunch she made it clear she had survived and abusive relationship and was now living the good life in Beverly Hills. So it again contradicted the stories that Taylor was telling the women off camera. I don't think any of the women have ever said they knew that Paul and Adriane were having marital troubles. And none of them claimed to know that Kelsey was cheating on Camille. In fact they all agreed they would have been more forgiving of Camille's insecurity if they had known what was going on at the time. As for the domestic violence allegations against Paul, Adriane was very careful to cover her ass by having her chef Bernie put those out there. Adriane never commented on them. So again, this wasn't some situation that the women were well aware of but just accepting for the sake of the camera.
  7. I would say that the endearing and loopy Kim was when she wasn't filming with any of her castmates. When she was doing her talking heads wearing that shirt with the bow on it - loopy and hilarious. Doing laundry and eating cheetos - boring but I guess I could see it as endearing. Mixing chicken salad with her hands? But the thing those events had in common was that she wasn't interacting with anyone but the camera. When interacting with the women she was either being a mean girl, being standoffish, lying about her mental state, or downright aggressive.
  8. I agree with your sentiments. Although, I think that LisaR is going to stick with Eileen more than anyone else at the reunion. Eileen has been supportive of Yolanda because of Eileen's sister's prolonged illness. Then, there is the loss of her Father-in-law, and the real time recent death of her brother. Eileen has seen illness and death way too much in a short period of time to question someone she believes is ill. But, I do like the way Eileen called Yo out in her blog re: Brandi calling Bella an alcoholic vs. the women discussing the Non-Gigi's also being as ill as Yolanda. My hope is that Eileen will keep this course of action at the reunion and Rinna will follow her lead until or unless her impulsiveness takes over.
  9. I disagree with this. That first season, Kyle was on her way to becoming one of the favorites of the franchise. Her fight with Camille almost guaranteed her that while Camille was being billed as a true Housewives Villain. That moment when Kyle outed her sister in the limo, has been the bane of her existence on this show, IMO, because once that happened, the show never let Kim's illness recede back into the background. We saw Kyle's life prior to that with little interaction with Kim. Remember Kim wasn't showing up to filming events. She wasn't wanting to interact with the other women at all for the most part. So, we saw Kyle interacting with her life and her friends. That was the initial premise. That all went to hell the second she outed Kim and now it doesn't matter what Kyle has going on in her own life, her story line will always be eclipsed by Kim's illness. And when I re-watch that first season, prior to the outing in the limo, I simply don't think Kyle EVER wanted Kim to be her major story line. I think BRAVO saw that it was a constant source of pain and needed the drama, so they kept poking at it. I have never been a fan of Kyle, but I have never thought that she was using Kim's illness to stay relevant. I think if anything she has wanted nothing more than for everyone to pretend that Kim is just fine and doesn't need to be discussed at all.
  10. I think my tolerance for Yolanda's BS plummeted even lower than I thought possible when I found out that Big Ang died of cancer this morning. Ang was a true fighter until the end without contradiction, condescension, or expecting her friends to be able to read her mind. Shut up Yolanda and go away.
  11. I totally get what you are saying here. But I think we are also being very dismissive of the fact that Lisa Rinna was trapped in that limo with Kim for 2hours, and she can only really discuss what the audience saw of that 2 hour interaction. I think that would stick with anyone for a very long time especially if they are obligated to only discuss the 4 minutes of that 2 hour ride that the audience was shown. It is easy for us to say get over it, so she went crazy in a limo. But, since we have no idea what the worst moment of that 2 hours was we can't really say if this is something that she should just get over because it's so insignificant that it doesn't require closure for her to move forward. I mean I get it that it doesn't make Rinna look good to keep discussing what happened - I honestly don't see her as "going after Kim" or "shaming Kim" I see her has rehashing something that happened last year because Kyle refuses to address it openly - which is Kyle's prerogative. I do think that if she needs to get closure for any or all of the things that went down between her and Kim, she should do it off camera, but I doubt that Kim would ever go for that either. I guess I just see both sides.
  12. I have always suspected that Bella probably shared it with one of her friends for whatever reason and the friend leaked it, or possibly sent it to someone else who leaked it. The Hadid's haven't seemed to learn the one basic lesson of Social Media - once it is shared with one person it can be shared with millions with a single click. So, it becomes impossible for them to control their narrative and inconsistencies in their stories become huge waving flags. Because I suspect that if Lyme Disease had been the primary reason for Bella's DUI (even if she were just self medicating due to depression), Yolanda would have made some mention of it in the email . Even if it was just to say that all of the booze and pill bottles in the car were causing more damage to her already compromised immune system. She certainly wouldn't have kept framing it as "Bella made a stupid mistake." even if the email hadn't been leaked. Yolanda would have found a way to work in that Bella was extremely sick at the time of the DUI when trying to convince the other women to "share something that shows their lives aren't perfect" at the Amsterdam dinner. ETA: I always thought that Yolanda prompting the women to share was her way of taking Brandi's "we should have an intervention for all of us so that Kim doesn't feel ganged up on." Because I suspect Brandi wanted some sort of internvention for Kim - not because it would be helpful, but so that it could create conflict, and when Lisa R didn't take the bait and run with it, Brandi got Yolanda to do it.
  13. LisaR told Kyle and LisaV that she participated in a conversation where someone brought up the M word. She said she felt terrible about it and wasn't sure how to address it with Yolanda. She never said that Yolanda had it, she never denied Yolanda was sick. The ONLY time the children were mentioned in conjunction with Munchhausen was when YOLANDA did it at the barbecue by purposefully conflating to the two very different disorders. None of the women ever accused Yolanda of having Munchhausen or Munchhausen by Proxy. Mohammad NEVER denied saying the kids did not Lyme Disease. He NEVER claimed they do have Lyme Disease either. He is insisting that he only said that the kids were "fine." There was no clear statement from him on whether or not the kids are sick. He only blasted that he said they were fine. LisaV. said both "he said no" and "he said they were fine" at Kyle's BBQ, but the "he said they were fine" was lost because Kyle was talking over her pushing her to spill more of the conversation. She also said very clearly that if Yolanda said they were sick, she believed her. Again, no one has been doubting Yolanda is sick or that her children are sick. I think Eileen's blog really sums up this exhausting game of telephone that has been going on ever since Yolanda saw a chance to play the victim. Ericka is lying and misrepresenting what is being said to Yolanda and even now that Yolanda has had the chance to watch the footage she still refuses to see that she made baseless accusations against the other women. Ericka also seemed to set Lisa R. up. She was the one that told Lisa to go to Yolanda because Yolanda would appreciate Lisa being honest and having a face to face conversation. She was also completely willing to let Lisa take the fall with the other ladies by outright lying about telling Yolanda the kids had been discussed. And then, she had the nerve to scream at Lisar at the BBQ.
  14. I'm starting to believe that Rinna really did hear the Munchausen thing from her hair dresser. I suspect that she said something to Kyle and Lisa V about it off camera because she was worried that it would get back to the women that she had engaged in a conversation about it outside of filming. I suspect that Kyle and Lisa V, along with production prodded LisaR to bring it to the camera in an effort to "take ownership of it' and thus have some transparency. Hairdressers in a small town like Beverly Hills (and let's face it, Beverly Hills is a small town when it comes to who knows whom), would know all kinds of gossip. And I wouldn't be surprised if LisaR realized that by engaging in that conversation with her hairdresser, she would have her name attached to that gossip in some way that she couldn't control. So, she probably went to the OG's of the show to figure out how to cover her ass and they in turn encouraged her to bring it to the camera.
  15. The thing with LisaR is that she is one of the very few housewives to come on the show who was also very open about being a fan of the show and many of the other franchises. So she is in a unique position to call out the things that fans had been screaming for years. Any of her pre-housewives WWHL appearances and interviews about the show will confirm this, IMO. So, in the limo when Kim was obviously high, she called it out. It's what she did when she infamously uttered the words, "why is everyone afraid of Kim Richards?" Like Brandi, Lisa lacks impulse control. Unlike Brandi, she knows her career depends on her being a people pleaser. So she makes nice as much as she can with production and does her best to be a cheerleader to the other wives. It's evident in her first season. She was giving 5 star Amazon reviews out like candy to every wife she interacted with - including Brandi. Remember the infamous lunch where Lisa tells Brandi they can't do an intervention for Kim? That was after Rinna did Brandi's podcast, which they also filmed for the show. Rinna was supporting Brandi, which is why Brandi misrepresenting that conversation to Kim still sticks in my craw. Rinna's real problem though is that she needs a handler when it comes to how far she should push her lack of impulse control. In her mind, a lot of What she is calling out is what any fan would call out. But then she goes the extra mile by taking it to social media. Like Brandi, she needs fan approval. She has to make the choice between being a fan of the show and being a part of the show. She can't have it both ways if she is going to last. I totally get where she is though. For her, "keeping it real" is calling out the same stuff the audience is saying. But, she is also charged with playing nice with production. The best example of that was when Kim came to her room for the "make up" scene after the blowup at the Amsterdam dinner. Lisa obviously learned the answer to her question about people being afraid of Kim Richards. Now she needs to learn the difference between being a part of the show and commenting on the show as a fan of it.
  16. I respectfully disagree. I did not see Lisa trying to choke Kim. She lunged towards Kim, while she was being held back - if anything, it looked like she was trying to cover Kim's mouth to stop her from talking. When it comes to Lisa's breaking point, I don't think it had anything to do with vagueness or baseless comments. I think it had everything to do with Kim knowingly insinuating something she knew could never be disproved. Kim was using Brandi tactics that night, and I think the real reason that Brandi went off the rails during that trip was because the other women didn't immediately side with her. It had nothing to do with Kim. Brandi seemed to have a plan to make Rinna the bad guy on that trip. During the lunch they have before the trip Rinna tries to get Brandi to "own" the way she behaves the way she does, Brandi turns the focus to Kim. When Rinna point blank says that they CAN'T do an intervention for Kim, Brandi suggests they do one for all of the women so Kim does not feel ganged up on. The problem was that Rinna didn't take the bait. Rinna and Eileen simply asked Kim how she was doing and got the "blah blah blah" answer. So Brandi tells Kim a story much like Ericka told Yolanda, in which she leaves out the tone and her involvement/lack of "loyalty". Brandi does this right before all of the women are about to be on a private plane with no escape when things get awkward. So, now there is a paranoid Kim on the plane with the people she is so sure mean her harm, and none of the other women even know that she is pissed until LisaR notices that Kim is giving her dirty looks. LisaR could have waited until they landed, but she seems to be a "rip off the bandage" type of person - even when it is to her detriment (I have to say that I don't know how I would be in that situation. If someone is obviously hating on me, my immediate response is to say "what?"). Then, they are sitting down to dinner after Kim has had ample time to stew; Rinna has had ample time to re-think her approach to dinner; and Yolanda (IMO) had time to hear out all sides along with what she is being told by production. There is a reason that Yolanda started that dinner by asking everyone to talk about the parts of their lives that they were hiding from each other. I personally don't think it had anything to do with Yolanda's illness or Bella's DUI. But, mileage varies.
  17. Here is the key difference between what Ramona did and what Rinna did: Ramona threw a hard plastic glass at Kristen (and then tried to hit her in the head with an oar - JS) and caused Kristen to bleed. Rinna slammed a glass down on the table and shattered it. She didn't throw it at Kim or even in Kim's direction. I am not defending Rinna for slamming a glass on the table. But what she did was demonstrating anger by destroying inanimate objects. Ramona actually physically assaulted Kristen. Rinna seemed genuinely horrified by her loss of control, while Ramona continuously blamed Kristen for splashing her as though the reaction was justified by the initial action of playfully splashing someone while they were in/on a lake.
  18. It's weird that Yolanda used the word homies. Isn't Brandi the only person to have ever used that particular slang on this show? I wonder what BS Brandi has been feeding Yolanda about the other women?
  19. So, I am listening to the Watch What Crappens Pod cast and Ben and Ronnie bring up an excellent point. Why is Yolanda ordering salmon when she just had her fillings removed because of her worries about heavy metal poisoning.
  20. I believe it was my friend Ronnie Karam over at TrashTalk that coined the term. He uses "Non-Gigi children" and "the udder ones" interchangeably to describe Bella and Anwar.
  21. So, here is what has been really bugging me about Yolanda's demand that Lisa V. apologize to her children. Lisa in response to a question from Kyle said that Mo told her they were fine and if Yolo says they are sick, then they are sick. Brandi says to Yolanda, people are calling Bella an alcoholic and Yo's response is "I'm trying to help you and you attack me." What is even more remarkable about that whole alcoholic thing is that Lisa V. defended Bella more vociferously at the reunion than her own mother did. And, yet somehow in all of this, Lisa V. owes Bella and Anwar apologies? This tells me that when it comes to Yolanda, her children are either extensions of herself (I try to help and you attack me), or weapons to use against the other women to gain the upper hand.
  22. It looks like dithering in the image more than anything actually on her face.
  23. Yolanda can't admit to menopause only mortal women go through menopause. Besides, if she admitted to menopause, her bestie Brandi would have to lump her in with the menopause mamas and that would be abhorrent to the special snowflake that is Yolanda.
  24. You guys, I am so glad so many of you like Ronnie's recaps. I have known him for about 9 years now - we met back when he was running the TVGasm site. When that site closed down, I know he was worried about being able to continue making a living by making fun of the Housewives. Now, not only is his TrashTalk site doing extremely well, but his podcast with Ben is earning them money. Like, more than 1k per episode money - which makes me think that he is actually doing better than Brandi! I told him yesterday that he can no longer refer to himself as a "broken ho" anymore and he said, he still thinks Lisa V. would take one look at him and welcome him into her home so that she could fix him so he still qualifies. If you guys haven't had a chance to listen to his Podcasts, please check them out on either Soundcloud or Patreone. The podcast is called Watch What Crappens and he and Ben are hilarious in the way they riff on each other. OK, that is enough plugging for today. Sorry about that. I am just so freaking proud of him. Back to the housewives....
  25. I should clarify my earlier statement. I don't consider Brandi a Housewife. I haven't considered her one since her second season when it became obvious that she was little more than a prop. So, when I make blanket statements about some housewives being more dangerous than others, I do so without including Brandi in the statement. That said, I absolutely agree that she has gone out of her way to intentionally harm others with no thought to how it would affect the innocent members of their families.
