  1. I would like to think that Joy took a mental health day today.  Perhaps in the pre-show meeting, where Abby and Meghan did the typical bait and switch what-about-isms, Holder and fired FBI agents, Joy said - "Fuck this shit, I cannot handle the twins today, see ya!".

They did the same thing with Sarah Brown (Carly No. 1) when she returned to the show a decade ago. They created an ill conceived character in Claudia who they had no idea what to do with.

Even Sarah Brown couldn't make that character watchable.

People (understandably) have been speculating about Missandei's death for a long time due to Nathalie's seemingly early filming completion.  But since she survived the Siege of Winterfell, I honestly don't see her dying at this point.  Her ending up in Cersei's custody doesn't seem all that probable.

Why would she even go to KL?

I must have missed those years. We spent 7 years overseas so perhaps Edward redeemed himself during that time. I’ll accept your word on that.

This was after he was recast as Kris Kringle.

  5. The Lilah worship has always gotten on my nerves.  This woman stood by while Edward OG (I haven't forgotten what a horror show he was before they recast him as Kris Kringle), pitted her children against each other, belittled them, created the weak creatures they were (until the miracle of Emily and the diagnosis of Robyn), cheated on her and begat other children,  and treated her poorly in general.  I view her as a weak woman who looked the other while terrible things happened within her family.

I've always loved the actress, though.

    All of the soaps are.

The most difficult soap for me to figure out family trees was ATWT.  Every character had several half-siblings, and one was married to her mother's brother.  So confusing.

I love this about Joy.  She never misses an opportunity to make fun of herself.

I HATE SPORTS ON TV!  I liked playing sports but no one watched it on tv.  Loved how Joy refused to put it on.

The injuries to young men/boys is real and communities are reacting.  Here is a link if anyone wants to read.  I had no idea that teams could be 8 or 11 players.

    I missed it.

The football obsession in the United States is out of control.  I can't stand it.

My only favorite part of today's episode was Dr. Neil Burns (Berns?)..

I love him and think he's a wonderful actor with proper nuances in his words and he doesn't forget his lines ! He has charisma and he's cute as hell and I am only sorry he hast to be saddled with the neurotic Alexis !

I can't wait to find out who was close to him in a cult and can you even imagine if he's Willow's father ? Soapy !!

Oh he's definitely Willow's father.  Anvils everywhere.

It's Valerie. You can't even keep her name straight!

    And don't go knocking Chaseyboo.

I know it's Natalie, I had a brain fart!  And Chase is still mediocre, IMO, but adorable.

Who is Natalie? You mean Valerie? LoL

I'll admit that I didn't see Harmony being Willow's mother coming. But I guess it makes sense because I have read stories where cult leaders had slept with all the female members of a family.

Lol!  Of course I meant Valerie - she's awful.  And I knew immediately that Harmony was Willow's mom, because it's typical that cult members hand over their daughters to the cult leader.  Plus, there was no other reason to cast a woman of a certain age - not that I'm complaining, she's a better actor than Sam and I appreciate the "older" women on the show.

He apparently goes by Jesse they just used Madison, his middle name, because his dad’s first name is also Jesse.

I cringed every time I heard it.  And I underestimated how long it's been a popular girl's name.  It became popular after the movie Splash (she took her name from Madison Ave.), and that was back in 1984.

Well, thank you, Meghan McCain, for once again, ruining my enjoyment of the show.  I would have loved to hear more from Melinda Gates - she sounds like a wonderful, sharing, compassionate and interesting woman.  BUT - because you, Meghan, had to go on another tirade in Hot Topics, the guest interview time was obviously cut short.

Please, Meghan - go start up a Youtube show, or podcast, so that you can talk, bitch, scream and whatever you want to do all by youself!!!

I can see her doing a Limbaugh type show - ranting into a microphone for hours.

  12. I may need to take a break from these shows to regain my empathy.  My only thought watching this episode, was how chins are strongly hereditary, and how there are serious consequences for naming your son one of the trendiest girl names of the last twenty years.

    Abby:  "The President Daddy's Boss......."

Her words on the topic of this man giant ass hat mean nothing.  Jack shit.  So what, who cares?  Shutty.

When she starts to act high and might and ask why certain republicans don't stand up for what's right, why does no one ask her about the lack of moral courage from Abby's Daddy?  I felt Joy was all but saying this and Abby was totally dense.

Yup - Meghan had to be extremely pissed about that.  Her personality is definitely not one to appreciate being made fun of.   She can't laugh at any jokes, least of all, any at her expense.

Joy, I think, was just embarrassed about that entire exchange, and is probably tired of seeing it replayed over and over and over again.

She really could have acted like a grown up in that moment.  How hard would it have been to throw in a - yep, wish I could take that one back.

  15. If I were Hannah, I wouldn't let anybody sleep in my damn room!  The house is a mansion.  I would respectfully ask my mom to keep my room off limits.  How could you have any privacy with others constantly staying in your room?  In fact, I would act like a teenager and place a lock on my door.  Everyone knows how Sonja is.  She's probably sleeping in Hannah's pajamas as I write this.
