I expected LaTasha to win. No surprise to me. In fact I had this on as background noise and only paid half attention to the episode.

I watched the Christmas special. It was a feel good lovefest among the 4 families. They were playing for charity. Pino won. He deserved it since his family won pretty much every round.

I enjoyed the finale. I loved the result. But I also enjoyed the journey. I will miss Gwen. I believe any of the singers that have "it" will make it whether they win or lose in the end. I believe Pharrell will help Sugar. If any of Adam's team is really that popular they have a chance for a big career too. Maybe we will find out if Chris is the next big star. Craig would have been helped by Blake whether he won or lost. He just has the added benefit of winning and the publicity that goes with it.

There was no surprise over which 2 cooks would be in the taste off. They were not going to get rid of another one on Nigela's team if they could help it. Plus Natasha had won gold stars. I don't like the way they have the chefs screaming every little instruction to their cook. They were getting too much help. Let them consult at the beginning and then just let the chef help if the cook asks a question. Ludo would give me a heart attack if I had to cook with him.

I thought they revealed Joe as the killer too early in the episode. So I suspected it was going to be Tom.

Jax wasn't wearing his white sneakers. It was just odd to see him in boots.

Peter Pan Live (NBC)
LakeGal replied to TravisNelson76's topic in Specials, TV Movies & Other One-Offs
I really disliked the Peter Pan character. There is something wrong when I am hoping for Captain Hook to get rid of Peter Pan. I had the crazy thoughts about why Michael Jackson liked Peter Pan. The Sound of Music was wonderful in comparison to this. -

I miss Kevin too. Arlene seems to be the Queen Bee this season. I am not sure I like that. Everyone seems to cater to her. I feel like the chemistry has changed and it does not make it as enjoyable to me. -
I expected the 3 that went home to be the bottom 3. I just didn't know who would be in the bottom 4 with them. Chris deserved to survive based on how much better he did than the others on iTunes. Now I also think that Adam's team is getting special treatment when it comes to performance order. That also leads to rating better on iTunes. Next week all 3 of his singers should sing first before the other 2 singers left. But that probably will not happen. I do think if you sing later in the show that you do better on iTunes and in the vote.

I have a bit of a problem with Adam always getting the best spot for his singers. He was the only coach with all 3 singers. Yet the other 3 coaches all had 1 of their singers perform before any of Adam's 3 performed. Blake has one singer left. And yet CWB sang 2nd. I notice this every season. Adam always gets the best spots for his singers. This shouldn't bother me but it does. I end up resenting Adam's singers. Why do they always get to close the show? I found a lot of the songs boring tonight. My prediction for tomorrow night is Ryan, Luke and Danica in trouble. Adam is getting too much help for his singers to go home.

David needs to publically apologize to Nolan or it doesn't really matter. He publically shamed him. He hurt his reputation and company. David can say he made a mistake without putting Amanda/Emily in danger. I have a slight hope that maybe David has been hanging around Victoria just to get the code to open the safe. It was after she told him the date that means so much to her that he went and opened the safe. He did not tell Victoria where it was. He did give Nolan info about it though. So there might be some hope. Daniel and Emily actually have chemistry now and I look forward to their little run-ins. We don't care about Margaux so we don't care if she is pregnant. I was surprised about the pregnancy because I don't pay enough attention to her scenes to know what is going on . I suspected FBI woman just because I don't like her.

I suspected the girlfriend from the very beginning. It is more rare when it isn't the romantic partner. Laughing about a Playboy photo right after the murder was really out of place. Taking her back to act out what happened was also a good way to catch her in lies. But considering her son had to remind her how her hands were taped is also very telling.

I really enjoyed this episode. It was like I was watching the Airport movie. I liked Bishop's hubby and the interaction with Tony was enjoyable. They didn't have any of them acting dumb this week. I also guessed the hitman just because,,, I don't know it just seemed obvious. But I really wanted to see Gibbs making a snow angel.

Interesting that Ryan got to sing last again this week. Not surprised he was twitter saved. The females both sounded awful. Plus the young girls are going to vote for the cute boy. I hope next week Chris doesn't get to sing last yet again. They should make all of Adam's team sing at the beginning of the show since he is the only one with all his singers. I did not think Pharrell sounded very good in his group sing. I noticed he got a bit political at the end of the song.

I believe she is guilty of murder. She went there with a gun to kill him. This was after calling to make sure the insurance was up to date. They said she kept up the insurance payments even though she was complaining about money and not paying other bills. Why do people have life insurance on an ex anyway. She would have pulled up across from the boat if she wanted a photo. Not behind it like she did. If she was afraid he was coming to hit her she could have easily driven away quickly. It took a lot longer to find the gun and get out of the car to shoot than it would have to just back up away from him. I did not believe a thing she said. There was something odd about her. She made a lot of texts during the night when she was suppose to be knocked out cold.

I am not sure he did it. I like things tied up neatly and this time I didn't feel that way. Too many questions left unanswered. I wanted to know if he was just the janitor for the warehouse area and not the offices. A janitor that cleans the offices would have a key and would not need to break into her office. I found him almost too dumb to be able to carry off this murder without leaving any DNA to convict him.

S01.E09: Kill Me, Kill Me, Kill Me
LakeGal replied to Tara Ariano's topic in How To Get Away With Murder [V]
I spent the episode wondering how they explain the rug missing. It did not make sense how they could take his body away in the rug and not think anyone would notice it was gone. Then the final scene explained it all. Annalise knew. She would not report the rug missing to anyone. But Bonnie, Usher and others might comment on it gone or changed. I still hate Wes & Rebecca. -
The Bachelor Canada - General Discussion
LakeGal replied to Meredith Quill's topic in The Bachelor Canada
YAWN... This season didn't have a chance with a Bachelor like Tim. He ruined the season for me. I think he got what he deserved. I do not think life will be easy for him with April. -
The show is really on the Adam train. Pharrell's singers had all sang and Adam still had 2 singers that had not sang. The other 3 coaches all had their saved singer sing first. But Adam's saved singer Chris actually sang last for him. Adam was the only coach who got to comment on all the singers. 3 times they did not let Blake talk and the other coaches were passed by once or twice. Is there a reason that Adam is the sainted one?

S15.E06: The Twin Paradox
LakeGal replied to thewhiteowl's topic in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation [V]
Oh I am sure most of us knew Mark Valley was the bad guy. They were not very subtle with that one. -
I was hoping that David was behind the door and would overheard Daniel talking to Victoria in the hospital. David needs to find out that not everyone thinks Victoria is so wonderful. Emily has to tell David to apologize to Nolan and listen to him.

I believe 2 that I like the least are season 5 A Case of Immunity and season 7 The Conspirators. Those 2 just don't have the storylines that make me want to watch them again and again. The Conspirators is the one about: An IRA terrorist executes an arms dealer he considers traitorous; Lt. Columbo is on the case. A Case of Immunity is the one about: The first secretary to the Suarian king may have immunity from the consequences of committing murder, but Lt. Columbo is wilier than any foreign diplomat.

Blake - I expected Craig and Reagan to win the votes. Blake picking Jessie does not surprise me. Blake has always followed how they do on iTunes. She charted higher than James David. Plus we know Blake always likes the girls with the unique voices. Blake's decision really helped Craig. He is now the only country singer left and will get the bulk of those votes. Pharrell - I expected Luke to get the votes. Danica getting the votes surprised me. But it forced Pharrell to make the pick between Sugar and Elyjuh. Pharrell has acted like he has a bit of a crush on Sugar. He obviously does because he even dumped Elyjuh to save her. Gwen - We all knew Taylor 3 names would get the votes. And I expected Anita to also be voted through. I gathered that Bryanna was not that popular on twitter. That left Ryan and Ricky. Gwen has always had a soft spot for Ryan. Ricky was someone she stole. I think her loyalty was with Ryan. Adam - I expected Matt and Damien to get the votes because of iTunes. I was surprised though at Adam's choice. I figured he would pick Taylor. At least we are now down to one Taylor. They really need to control their time better. The credits were rolling when Adam finally gave his answer.

The Bachelor Canada - General Discussion
LakeGal replied to Meredith Quill's topic in The Bachelor Canada
They really need to quit showing the close ups of Tim kissing. Ewww! It kind of turns my stomach to watch that. The look on his face when he was waiting for Trish to accept the fantasy suite key was creepy. He looked like a horny old man that was ready to jump her. -
Why does Tre always have to jump in and answer for Dina?
