  1. I agree with Traveller519 that this episode seemed weaker than the others from this season. Amy sneaking smokes while she was supposed to be meditating or in the port-a-john seemed very "Three's Company" level humor. But i did enjoy hearing Holt talk to Kevin about the belt. He seemed just a little more relaxed and warmer, speaking to the most important person in his life.
  2. Is it possible that the real Seth Rogen is as wonderful as this fictional version? I wouldnt be that shocked to learn that he is.
  3. I don't understand why Lisa pronounces "Yolanda" the way an American from Montana would. And she didn't recognize "ABBA" when Andy mentioned them on WWHL. When she realized what he was saying, she said, "Oh... Aaab-ba" -- again, the way someone from Montana would.
  4. Yes, I do love that about her. She can be very loyal. (Unless you're a film student ;) )
  5. It amuses me how often Mickey and Valerie primp her hair, yet it never looks any different afterwards. Lisa Kudrow was so funny: Valerie holding the Oscar. She has never looked more blissfully happy.
  6. i have to agree with you. I admire her for being able to do that. Thank you, Almost 3000.
  7. Man, oh, man. Holt on that yoga ball was perfection. And it made me wonder if, in some future episode, they might show a flashback to when Holt was a child, and how the casting director will find someone absolutely adorable to portray the youngster.
  8. Regarding the housewives' little intros: does this mean Lisa Rinna is well-aware that her lips look ridiculous? How many times has she had them surgically plumped?
  9. Icemiser, i think it said that she could make them laugh every time she opened her mouth.
  10. Thanks, EVS. I should have googled it. The actress was on Seinfeld, right?
  11. Amy: "5...6." I liked Sheldon asking about the hospital treating Penny's burns. Sad. The woman who inspired the Mrs. Wolowitz character died.
  12. I enjoyed Boyle sighing that Sophia was so pretty, pretty enough to appear on the label of a bottle of olive oil.
  13. Usually I don't find her funny, but it did amuse me when she joked that she needed to leave the restaurant before the host broke a chair over her head.
  14. Just out of curiosity, when Valerie attempts to say something witty, how often do you think it is actually witty?
  15. Thank you, portfino. Chelsea Handler auditioning was very funny.
  16. Can anyone explain the reference to Chris using steroids? Other than making Valerie look uneasy about that statement airing in her "pilot"? Andy Cohen was funny. "The sun was in my eyes." RuPaul telling Valerie, "I heard you tell Andy who you are."
  17. I totally agree with all of this. But I am still confused why tween girls worship him. One said that his videos make them feel less insecure? It is okay to be different? How did they react to Shane's version of Heather?
  18. I loved that casting, it was BRILLIANT.I loved how intrigued Holt became, speculating as to why Amy was late.
  19. sandwoman and absnow54: thank you very much for your explanations. They make a lot of sense.
  20. Are we really supposed to believe that everyone but Zachary Quinto was laughing at Shane's vomit and fart jokes during the screening? Really?
  21. I wonder if anyone who works in Health Inspection watches this show. Is there really a way to combine different, low-quality wines, process it and somehow produce a wine that isnt repulsive?
  22. Thank you, Rinaldo, for replying. "Alas," indeed!! Holt would never make that mistake. Oh, I totally agree with regard to the chalk. I was just curious, because this cast is so talented, I wouldn't be surprised if they were able to convey subtly with their body language that, Boyle had purchased chalk (because when he lies, he really commits to the lie), they used it, Boyle still thought that it enhanced some aspect of their night together, but Gina was still skeeved by it. Wanted to add that I enjoyed Amy telling Gina that the last time she texted her, it was more than a year ago. "Sup, Rosa?" Followed by, "Nevermind."
  23. I usually watch with the cc on so that I don't miss one juicy morsel of dialogue. I rewound. Is it possible that Holt/Braugher said "flout" but the cc said "flaunt"?When Peralta pulled out his back-up powdered donut, what exactly caused it to explode all over the car, Amy trying to grab it? "You had chalk on your hands the next morning." I wonder if they could have had Boyle and Gina react to that, as if they somehow worked chalk into their shenanigans the night before.
  24. My son is 5 years old, and I must note that half of his pants have belt loops and no elastic waistband or any of those tabs that allow one to adjust the waist. Mostly traditional denim jeans. He only has one pair of jeans with elastic in the waistband. A lot of his stuff are hand-me-downs. He has one of those D-ring belts but when he is at school, he just tugs and tugs until he can lower his pants to pee, without loosening the belt. I think a Velcro closure belt would be helpful, but then again, he has Velcro closure sneakers and still cannot tie shoelaces, so there you have it. But that inventor's price was too high.
  25. I worked at a restaurant. We called it FIFO--first in, first out.
