I agree with you completely. Joe Machi's jokes were still funnier and more intelligent than some of the other jokes. And if he was stringing non sequiturs together, it didn't bother me at all, because the jokes still made me laugh.I guess I will console myself that if Joe had won, NBC probably would have hired some mediocre writers, and the TV sitcom would have been cringe-worthy.

Aviva's explanation is idiotic and WEIRD. What would happen if someone duct-taped Aviva's hands to the chair when she tried to talk? Fantastic editing: LuAnn telling everyone that people assume that she's this unapproachable Countess, followed by Sonja yawning languorously. Aviva yelling at Heather followed by Sonja primping and tossing her hair.

So how much do we think all of Ramona's nasty behavior will affect Avery? Will it bias people against Avery because they have seen how obnoxious her mother is?

I am pretty sure the lighting crew and whatnot use the duct tape. sometimes they even use duct tape to adjust the wardrobe which might be too loose. They might use chains at a soundstage, to stabilize the set.

FYI: Ramona will be on "Bethenny" tomorrow (Thursday), supposedly will discuss Mario. Then again, the clip they aired only showed Ramona saying, "everything will work out."

Curious: Kristin clarifying that many women were hot for Fabio many years ago. Nick Gregory was interested in Ramona? My opinion of him just plummeted. LuAnn was pretty darned gracious during the LuMan discussion. And during the entire First Look, actually.

It was probably editing, but I enjoyed Carole rolling her eyes when reacting to Aviva asking Kristin smugly, "Are we done?" Ramona always seems so pleased with herself when Andy greets her as he begins a reunion taping.

I never liked LuAnn before this season. Now I loooove her. She was terrific, scolding Ramona and then joking with Kristin, "Isn't she amusing?" Heat warmers? Does Ramona mean heaters? Or tent warmers?

In the very first episode, season one, Avery is already rolling her eyes in reaction to Ramona's choice to dress "young." I cannot imagine how appalled Avery must be these days.

I started re-watching Season 1 because of you guys. It is so weird seeing Ramona relatively calm and slightly less arrogant. Alex and Simon were so bizarre. They flaunted their "love" for each other, but during the Alex birthday celebration on the boat, Alex can barely maintain eye contact with Simon after he gives her the earrings. LuAnn actually looks even prettier now than in Season 1. Bethenny. Jason 1 was just not that into her. And kadooz to whoever noticed how much she looks like Teacher Susie on Sid the Science Kid. That jaw.

Heather was pretty antagonistic in that last scene, where they are about to go glamping, and Kristin protests Heather addressing her as "bitch". The smile on Heather's face was a little creepy. I like Heather most of the time. I am guessing that they are all getting a little stressed out and tired. Carole was very sweet, trying to comfort Kristin. Ramona's hair looked like a rat's nest when she was setting up the beer and snacks.

These ladies are pretty amusing. I really like the dress that Marissa wore to the horse event. Caprice was supposedly a famous model a few decades ago? When I search for photos, I find photos of the car. Juliet making cookies from a package that only required adding water was fun. I am pretty sure she was mocking herself when she referred to herself as a super mom, when talking to her husband, correct? They should have stapled plastic to the outside of the building. Annabelle's bangs need to go.

wmdekooning: I, too, would love to know what Pamela's disorder is. She is always so hostile, sarcastic and aggressive. I actually loved seeing for the first time the actress who voiced Bobby Hill, so for me it is simply hating the character "Pamela." So wrong to give his furniture to a Goodwill then cackle about it with his daughters. And mocking his physical appearance to them? What a bitch. Having said that, I loved and was very relieved to finally watch the following: How the hell is she the mother of those almost translucent white girls of yours? Oh, her mom is white. Oooh.
