  1. I thought the exact same thing! I live in Texas and that's the last thing I'd expect to be served on a luxury yacht. There's a steak house every few miles here where I live. We vacation in the Virgin Islands yearly and although I'm not crazy experimental with food I do love to try new things like people from other states do. Give me lobster with all the trimmings, you can keep the steak. (said as I sit here digesting a steak dinner from the closest steak house near me!)
  2. I didn't word that right-- I'm sorry. I also was born and raised in small town America, married and moved to another small town in America for years, then moved to a 3rd small town in America to retire! I meant no disrepect 😉 I guess what I meant about Elizabeth is that she needs to get over herself-- she's not star material or anything really special. I can throw a rock in this small town and hit a girl prettier than Elizabeth. I think she'd end up happier if she'd be more realistic and move somewhere with a more 'small town' feeling, get involved, meet a nice guy (not some hunk trying to make it famous on a reality tv show) and settle down, have babies, join PTA, etc. She's not smart enough to nagivate the waters of the group she's in now and it's showing. (She's 30?!?! I honesty thought she was around 19, and an emotionally young 19 at that!)
  3. Rob has said he's 'awkward' in a couple of talking heads. It must be hard to be good looking-- people expect something special from you and that would reve up the awkwardness, poor guy. I think he's nice and finding the right girl would work wonders from him-- also getting out of the spotlight of a tv show. Elizabeth is the most clueless of clueless. Typical airhead girl who falls for a guy hard when all he wants is a short term romance-- starts talking marriage so soon he's running scared and doing something stupid to get her off his back (and conconcious) by ignoring her and winking at a poor innocent stew! And in typical airhead fashion Liz blames the GIRL. And would take her loser 'future husband' back in a heartbeat. She needs to get off the boat, too, and go live a simple life in small town America.
  4. I agree! So jealous of them living close to the beach. The food, beachy outfits, location and the setting sun turning the day golden.... such a pick me up (for me) after sitting inside with an auto immune disease hiding from covid all the time! I'm one of those in the minority who likes Kelly. She's got an odd vibe at times and says things in a crass way at times but overall she brings the bling and clothes! Love her rich look with makeup, jewelry and clothes. I turn in for things like this (plus locations) not for all these pity parties. IF Bravo has someone reading these boards like I've heard, please take back the info that many of us on here can't stand to watch another episode of Weird Braunwyn. And she can take Strange Elizabeth with her. Not interested. I've fast forwarded more of this season than I ever have before.
  5. I think Shannon is a ''glass with only a drop left in it" kind of person. Maaannn... she's a walking Pity Party, isn't she?! I have to say I now actually believe Tamara last season when she said Shannon called only to talk about herself. Shannon is so woe is me about literally everything. Gah! Enough!
  6. Ok, now let's get down to brass tacks. WHAT'S a gobbler? What is the problem 'down there' that causes a woman to get one?! I mean, are things all long and floppy or what?! Brandi seemed all giggly and happy she's got one but I don't know... I'm picturing something flapping around like donkey ears for some bizarre reason!🤷‍♀️🤣
  7. I hate to say this because I realize there are abused children who get no help because they are afraid to tell someone about the abuse or for other reasons or people dont want to believe them, but... I just don't believe Elizabeth. Her brother sure didn't need any prodding to tell his story. That was all primed and ready to go when the director yelled,''Action!" She and Braunwyn bring nothing to the show but disgust. I ff through almost the entire show with a quick rewind to watch Archie in the sauna. Shannon better be glad she has him, it's the only thing that makes her bearable while on my tv. I still say Braunwyn's lips look like those girls on youtube who show you how to make your thin lips appear huge by lining your lips with eyelash glue and rolling your lips back onto that--- sick! And why is she always curled up on a couch or bed in a short flared skirt and bare feet like a kid? She's so wrong in so many ways.
  8. I started as a speech teacher in public schools in 1975. We learned all about dyslexia in college where my major was speech pathology. When I was in elementary school in the early 60's (apparently the Dark Ages) there was a speech teacher. I was jealous of the kids in our classes who were pulled out to go to the 'special class' while I had to do work in the normal class. Special Education has been around and available since then at least. 🙂
  9. She gives off a certain vibe and has all along. She appeared to be panicking when she realized the women were discovering she wasn't the rich and sophisticated woman she was trying to appear to be and suddenly shifted it while in the kitchen with Kelly to having gone to a Penticostal 'cult' church where people waved their hands around and stood on chairs. (all the while laughing about it all) She admitted to faking speaking in tongues so well people in the church believed her and smugly stated, 'That's when I learned I could lie to adults and they'd believe me.' (or words to that effect.) I think she's still lying to make her storyline real and get the women's attention off her money troubles. She wants to be fabulous and quickly realized they'd done some digging and knew she wasn't so to stay relevant on the show she quickly came up with a new storyline. I'm a pretty gullible type person who believes people easily (I've learned through my life) but there's something about Elizabeth that does not ring true. And I think she's called in her brother to reinforce her story. Sorry, but that's what I'm seeing. I hope she and Braunwyn are not back next year. Super Superficial-- but I can't stand looking at Brauwyn's mouth! Yikes, I'll see myself out...
  10. Yep, looks like it. I don't see what she's doing so bad. I guess she could be extremely firm with Elizabeth but Elizabeth seems about as smart as a box of rocks and seems to not learn but run straight to the 'she's so mean to me for noooo reason' line so what's the use? And with Izzy and the cook taking her side she's not going to change. (Chef? I haven't seen any credentials so I don't know for sure she's a chef. I mean, she hasn't cooked for me or anybody I know.-- Insert Kelly Bensimon shrug and jelly bean pop to the mouth here.-- )
  11. The religious 'cult' that Elizabeth claims abused her as a child was a rural Christian Pentecostal church. She makes fun of them when in the kitchen with Kelly by laughing merrily and saying,"Those psycos who go around and stand on tables and speak in tongues" while she's running around the kitchen in her silly Amazon bikini bottoms (not recommended for Amazonian bottoms by the way Elizabeth) holding her hands up and smiling. In fact she light heartedly tells of her grandmother asking her to speak in tongues in front of the church when she was a child and how she babbled nonsense to make them happy. (smiling as if all a huge joke) Then she smugly states,'' That wazzz the exact day when I realized that adults were full of sh*t and I could lie to get my way." From the looks of her family in pictures, they were attending rural churches in North Carolina-- not some 'cult'. She is making up a STORYLINE for herself as she speaks. You can see it coming to her. She's been discovered to be a fake and now she has to come up with something to cause sympathy and this is her story. Right from her lips she tells how she does it,''I could lie to get my way." So now her pentecostal church becomes a cult she had to escape from. I can not stand 1. Her silly body. 2. her silly constant smile 3. her laugh after every statement 4. her. I don't know who she is after this many episodes-- but what I do know is I don't want to know who she is anymore! Boring and false.
  12. Have you ever read the book? It was reprinted in a larger paperback and is great! Really fills out the movie more. I just happened to look for it on Amazon and enjoyed it so much.
  13. When the show was over and they were showing clips about what's coming up for next week you see Shannon crying about her life and saying she thinks she's losing John because he's just over it. And I paused my dvr at the next scene and it was of a very haggard looking John hunched over on the couch looking like he'd been through a war! 🤣🤣 (oops! I hate when I laugh at myself after thinking I've made a joke) What's the opposite of winning the lottery? To be trapped with Shannon Beador during a pandemic!
  14. I LIKE how the women look without all those horrific fake looking extensions, heavy false eyelashes and huge thick fake nails! It was refreshing to see Emily and Gina in their normal look. Gina should ditch those cheap extensions for good. She looks so much better with her natural hair. And I know we all know that Shannon has lung issues (insert her signature example cough here) but Emily has been diagnosed with an auto immune disease (rheumatoid arthritis) and is highly susceptible to illnesses. I love how she doesn't make a big deal out of it. I haven't liked Emily or Gina until now but they've shown me they are much more normal and watchable than the others on the show. I'm no longer in the 'Get Rid of Emily and Gina' camp. Kick Shannon and especially Brauwyn out! Boring and crazy. PS-- I think Brauwyn's timid husband is afraid of her but also is afraid to leave her with the kids. Wouldn't she get custody? If she admits to abusing him, you know she's also abusing or emotionally abusing those kids.
  15. Sober Bronwyn reacting to her daughter's needs makes me think we're seeing how Dr Deb reacted to young Bronwyn in life. And the circle of disfunction will just continue.
  16. Thank you! I thought my age must be catching up with me! I can't tell one from the other which is frustrating when you're trying to follow a storyline. Glad I'm not alone in this.
  17. I'm right there with ya! These boring women can't bring the drama and unintentional 'funny' that the old girls did. I wish there was a petition to sign that would wake Cohen and Co. up!
  18. I know Emily has rheumatoid arthritis (as do I) and whatever meds she's taking for it seem to have made her put on quite a lot of weight, but there HAS to be a stylist out there who can steer her in a better direction on a proper fitting dress to wear to a (halfway) formal event! That short skirt, tight horror totally emphasized how heavy she really is. What a mess. (I am impressed with how after hip replacement surgery she is getting around so well 🙂 ) Dr. BrownWind is a narcissist or something because she is enjoying the cruel thrusts she's taking at her own daughter. She means to wound. That's a mother who would warp a child's personality as they were growing up and make them become an alcoholic for sure! I dont care for Braunwyn (or however you spell her name) that much but after hearing her bizarre mom I will give her the benefit of the doubt on her weirdness from now on. Hopefully the season won't dwell on her much longer. She's renewed her vows-- move on Bravo!
  19. So if Diana loved Charles and Charles loved Camilla, who did Camilla love? I thought it was Charles! (and I'm of their age almost and should know this!)
  20. I'm sure Diana felt by all the positive attention she was doing her part for the crown. She was a success! I'm having trouble watching the Charles and Diana shows because I was only a few years older than she was and I remember all the tabloids and news reports about her. I got up early to watch their wedding (USA) and have since read many books about the royal family and also about her. I feel she was raised in an upper class home, her mother left the family, her father remarried someone Diana hated, she was sent to boarding school where she (like many of us) read Harlequin type books and dreamed of a prince charming. She was emotionally young. Charles was also emotionally young but used to getting his way. She expected a fairy tale type family life with him which he was not able to give. If only the royal family had sat her down and had an honest talk with her before Charles asked her to marry him and explained how it was going to go and what was expected of her! She would have had the chance to decide if that was going to fit her needs or not. But instead they bumbled their way through it, expecting her to conform as if by magic! She was to be a puppet. I've always felt so sorry for her. And I've always thought Charles was a total cad in the way he treated her and kept Camilla. I've always thought Camilla was a dirty dog who knew Diana expected a real relationship with a husband but Camilla wasn't about to give up her bit of fun. A sad situation all the way around.
  21. I remember them doing this, too. But this time with the familiar way the captain called this person on the phone and didn't go through a service made me think it's going to be someone we've seen before. We'll see!
  22. It's in episode 1 around the 21:20's when Braunwyn seemed to want to get Shannon to say something bad about Gina's home. She asks if it's a tiny condo and Shannon replies that it's a townhome. Then Braun makes a face saying,''With 6 kids...?" Shannon tries to play it off by saying something like," It's kind of a bunk bed situation, a boy bedroom and a girl bedroom." Something like that but not in a mean way. Braun says it sounds awful and Shannon said,''A lot." In my mind Shannon had said it was bad and depressing, too, but when I found it again it's like Braunwyn was trying to gossip about Gina's home and get Shannon to say something about it and I honestly think Shannon was trying to deflect from it and ended up just saying (it was) 'a lot'. I have too much time on my hands and clearly need a life.
  23. Gina was pretty funny and self deprecating about her weight gain which was nice. But I still don't feel like she's a fit for the Housewives since she appears to be so normal.... I mean, I watch this show to escape an apartment life! I need a little more glamour and people who can afford it.
  24. Cody deserves the win. None of these so called Super Players really tried to get him out back when they could. Pathetic game play. And bor---ing. I'm so disappointed in one of my must watch summer/fall shows! 🤣 I'm the same way! I'd be running right along with you praying someone would hurry up and win so I could get off the wheel🤣
  25. I would give it a try, but I don't think I could watch the show if it's built around Leah and people like her. Just her monotone bored voice drove me nuts. She seemed more like a 16 yr old than an adult woman. When they showed her with her daughter it was bizarre to me because I kept thinking she was the kid, even though against her daughter she obviously wasn't. I can't imagine what kind of mother she was when her daughter was a baby and that's why I think her ex husband stays so involved-- to protect the girl from some of Leah's actions. Sonja has grown more and more odd to me over the last seasons so she could go, but I'd hate to lose Ramona and LuAnn. 😞
