Someone tell Iggy 2.0 that cultural appropriation doesn’t equal talent. The girl is living proof of what happens when parents don’t tell their children no.

Here’s my thing a ton of people have no talent and try to be a thing even when they are not but her interactions with the crew indicate that they raised a pretty good kid lack of talent not withstanding. She was sweet and polite all the time and the look of joy that crossed her face when she realize Aesha was singing her song was adorable. So she is not going to be famous but she treats people well and unfortunately in these times that can be rare.

I just rewatched the episode because I missed a few scenes while getting prepared for work the next day. A few things stood out to me making me think that Mila wasn’t the only problem on that boat. While talking to the deck crew after Mila left Joao threw shade at someone in his team when he said “Let’s hope she’s the only one leaving by the end of today.” Then in his cabin after their night out he asked Colin if he thinks anyone did anything wrong. Someone on the deck crew is doing something that is testing his patience, we just haven’t seen it because the focus has been on Mila.

My generation annoys me for this exact reason, they’re never grateful for anything. I do agree she’s a sweet girl and seems very humble.

I did watch. I guess I wrote off a lot as editing. I did not see her tweets about Colin (I love Colin).  Thanks for the insights.

I never read what Captain Sandy said about Colin.  Anyone with info please dish.

I have come to the conclusion that “Call me Captain” Sandy is not very bright. She has very poor leadership skills and her ship always seems to be in some sort of physical danger. I certainly would not be comfortable with her captaining my yacht.

I keep wondering if João told Sandy more than we saw and she felt sorry for him or was worried about his mental state. Reference the scene this season where he’s weirdly weepy on the bridge and she’s encouraging him to feel his feelz or whatever it was. That made me think we’d missed deeper interactions between them, and the tweets seem to confirm that. Her tweets also made me cringe because she can’t spell. 😐

Sandy got weepy last season after Hannah’s panic attack over the fact that Hannah and what his name broke up. She has absolutely no chill and wants to be all up in everyone’s business while being Captain Sandy.

She’s odd.

My issue with Sandy is that she's too proud to admit that she might be wrong. That and she thinks she's an excellent communicator. She's really not. Her permanent hate on for Hannah is exhausting especially because it causes her to ignore or excuse shit that is indefensible. The woman is still more angry that Hannah made out with the yacht charter primary than Bobby making out with the primary's yacht girl and letting the other yacht girls wander around unescorted or Bobby and Bugsy wandering around the iPad still linked to a guest's icloud account.

Sandy has terrible boundaries.

So they need a stew to run the kitchen for one more charter and Hannah immediately starts bitching about being down a stew.  Way to be a team player Hannah!

........The deck team is functioning with only two people (because Jack is useless), without a peep from them but Hannah is whinnying about being a Stew down, she must have missed the teamwork memo.

I’d argue that while the deck hands have short, very physical bouts of work, the stews are doing the harder job. ........

So Hannah’s comments about extra work didn’t seem at all like whining to me but statements of fact. She wasn’t bitching about others just saying she was tired. I think it’s interesting that Jack, who is pretty universally acknowledged as being lazy, including by the crew, is considered adorable. But Hannah who is responsible for a smooth-running, friction-free experience for the guests is whining.

In the TH's where this "complaining" is being recorded, a producer is prompting Hannah with a question, which she partially restates.  Examples:
Q: Does being down a third stew affect your ability to take breaks?  Q: Would you characterize having only 2 stews as sucking?  Q: How annoyed are you that you work nonstop without breaks?

I’m thinking the same thing, the moment she stated that she loved him. Joao must have said something or even did something that had her worried about his mental health.

Forgot to say, Anastasia did great, which I was glad for.  I like her.

Someone above labelled her and Collin as the two normies in this cast and that the pressure is on them.  I hope not too much (despite previews of upcoming explosions (hers)).

As pointed out, the night before her debut as chef, she didn't drink.  What an example of level-headedness!  Super rare for such shows.
