OnceSane June 18, 2019 Share June 18, 2019 Quote Deep in space, Archer and the crew encounter a terrifying cosmic beast; even deeper, they encounter a self-aggrandizing life coach. Airs June 19, 2019. Link to comment
Galileo908 June 20, 2019 Share June 20, 2019 Oh, Carol is called Cheryl again. And still goes by both. "YOU'RE NOT MY SPACE SUPERVISOR!" This was an odd episode, it's like the entire plot happened in the last five minutes. I pegged Captain Price being responsible for her crew dying. But not so...brutally. Ray is still useless. 2 Link to comment
Lantern7 June 20, 2019 Share June 20, 2019 Another fun episode, with more Cheryl/Carol being Cheryl/Carol . . . delightfully insane. Also, a few jokes with the word "space" crammed in there. I still found it funny. 7 minutes ago, Galileo908 said: Ray is still useless. Not as much as Cyril, though. I bet that cracked captain barely had to convince him to commit suicide. Once again: Chris Parnell is so good at voicing pathetic men. Krieger trying to create offspring . . . that's "on brand." Remember, Crackers probably didn't get to do any mad science stuff next season. Krieger Head isn't the anime bride, but it's a step in the right direction. Didn't see the twist coming, where the crew didn't have to go through bullshit to escape. And, of course, Archer doesn't record Glenda's last words. She was a cannibal, so I guess he gets a pass this once. 2 Link to comment
Chaos Theory June 20, 2019 Share June 20, 2019 Cheryl/Carol was the highlight of the episode with her brand of crazy. I would LOVE to see Cheryl and Malory be space pirates. That would actually be fun. Cheryl pros and cons list on if she should try to save the gang was funny. Yeah Captain Price bring the cause of her crew’s death was kind of obvious but I kinda liked how pretentious she was and how easily she brainwashed Cyril. Archer is s bit of a dick for not taping price’s big speech but that is so him and not really surprising either. Link to comment
Morrigan2575 June 20, 2019 Share June 20, 2019 I really liked this episode. Maybe 3 is the magic number, the season has definitely improved starting with episode 3 even if I didn't fall in love with that episode. Cheryl/Carol was great. She's not high on my list except for crazy country singer Cheryl but, so far she's been the highlight of the season. I normally love Pam, Coked up Pam Danger Island Pam and, Archer Noir Pam have been highlights of those seasons. However, I'm not digging Rock Alien Pam at all. Still want more Ray but, this episode was a good start. 1 Link to comment
tennisgurl June 20, 2019 Share June 20, 2019 Archer not taping the Prices last speech was so dickish, but...she DID eat people. That episode had legitimately creepy moments, and while I saw most everything coming (once great captain finding the heroes and being shown to be evil is a pretty common trope) it was still a fun ride. Cyril is so easy to convince to kill himself, poor sad sack Cyril. 2 Link to comment

TresGatos June 21, 2019 Share June 21, 2019 I really wish that Captain Price had been voiced by Carrie Brownstein who was Dr. Sklodowska in Drastic Voyage. 1 Link to comment

Also, I agree he does seem to be good at voicing pathetic men. Jerry from Rick and Morty is a prime example. Link to comment

Trex June 25, 2019 Share June 25, 2019 So...when we first saw the captain, was I the only one who thought it was Xander Crews from frisky dingo? Link to comment

Lana usually gets the better of Archer, but she didn't have anything glib to say when Archer reminded her that the Captain killed and ate the crew. Ray has cake somehow so he isn't as useless as Cyril. Link to comment
