Yes, she's the one that tried to get her very pregnant daughter to dump the boyfriend, and move to Houston with her.    She also called some ex-boyfriend to drive her to Houston, and the boyfriend disappears, and won't take her calls after they get back to Ohio (was it Ohio?).      The computer phone calls to Dr. Now are hysterical.    I think she's one of the lawsuit participants, but I could be wrong (I often am).

When video conferencing with Dr. Now they always insist they’ve lost weight. If they were truly sticking to a 1200 calorie, low protein diet the pounds would literally be melting away. Weight loss would be very obvious after only a few weeks.

If there’s a new season of this show I’d like to see a big change up in formula. It’s getting stale. The shower scene should go... and more nutritional/portion size help for the 600 pounder.

I agree about the shower scene, who wants to see that?

According to Wikipedia, she's dead now.

It frustrates me when participants assert that they have lost weight because of certain things like having more stamina or being able to fit behind the wheel of a car.  Maybe your health has improved a little, but the only metric that matters is the only one that is entirely objective -- the number on the scale.  It would be trivially easy for these people to buy a high capacity scale and track their weight at home.  I've seen some online that go up to 700 pounds.  Doctor Nowzardan likes to say those are not accurate, but they're still more accurate than guessing.  Failing that, there are always local medical clinics with high capacity scales.
